In this article, we will have a look at my current Free Hit team for Gameweek 34.

Most of the squad will have a familiar ring to it, so rather than waffle on about Mohamed Salah (£13.8m) and Alexander Isak (£9.5m), I’ll instead focus the majority of my words on a few other players I like, who I haven’t seen in quite so many RMT’s.

JARROD BOWEN

West Ham United haven’t been great from an attacking perspective under Graham Potter.

But in light of the opposition, I fancy Jarrod Bowen (£7.5m) to do well this weekend.

Brighton and Hove Albion have conceded 13 goals in their last five matches and will be without influential centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke (£4.5m), who is undergoing concussion protocols.

Fabian Hurzeler opted for Carlos Baleba (£5.0m) as an emergency centre-back the last time he missed out, and while he did pretty well, it was a poor overall performance by the Seagulls, with relegated Leicester City scoring twice and grabbing a rare point.

As for Bowen, he’s ticked along since returning from injury, with four goals and two assists in 10 starts, but I think he’s capable of hauling tomorrow, given how Brighton were picked apart on the counter-attack by Brentford last week.

In fact, only Leicester have conceded more counter-attack shots over the last five Gameweeks than Brighton, which could play into the hands of Bowen at the Amex.

Above: Teams sorted by counter-attack shots conceded in Gameweeks 29-33

true and Jimenez I would think gets chances, it's just his stats are very underwhelming but do stats matter v the likes of southampton/ ipswich/ leicester?

Saints are not the worst team in the league atm, last few games are stats have improved defensively.

Over half of those are from players who are nowhere near the team. As a season ticket holder i have seen an improvement since juric left. I dont think we will roll over like we have majority of season. Obv fulham will win but will only be a goal or 2 they score.

All this chatter of Cunha ‘potentially’ not starting is giving me jitters.

    Bowen first on bench.

    Swap or hold?

    1. el polako
      • 8 Years

Cunha will get minutes regardless so the question is not about 1st player on the bench but - do you want Cunha?

      1. LeytonOrient
        • 11 Years

I’d like Cunha if he starts, if not I’d prefer Bowen. This is my conundrum.

        1. el polako
          • 8 Years
          7 months, 14 days ago

          I get it.
I think Cunha is easily best Wolves player, just because fans are unhappy that he wants to leave it doesn’t mean that the manager won’t play him.

Personally I’m ignoring the noise and starting Cunha.

I have gone against him myself. Welbz Isak Jimi my front three. If I knew he would defo start I'd go Cunha but I have enough risks elsewhere

I said this to my mate, who is a die hard Wolves fan, and he said "he has no long-term future with us and we are safe". I think I will still go Cunha but I am not as sure it is a safe an option as I did at the start of the week

It is interesting that Muniz out opens Raul up and Pedro out opens Welbeck up, the Wolves boys have a great fixture, Wood going for a CL spot, and everyone owns Isak.

Forward is the most important call on FH

A match where they need to win to keep a champions league spot…

He either starts or he won’t play at all, have a good 8th

I was on him initially but switched to Raul. I still think Wood is a good pick, but having a match after deadline makes it a bit of a gamble

He is their top goal scorer and they are in 4th place in the prem

Not denying that he is the better player in the better team playing the more important match. The worry is he picks up a knock that gets him reduced minutes on Thursday. Raul has a great fixture and no worry of minutes. Still think both are good picks and I might go back to Wood before deadline even as he was a first gut pick

True, my thinking was more a 1 pointer cameo or subbed early if it's a minor issue. But I hear the arguments and I am considering going back to my initial pick with Wood

And yet most FH teams have him. I’d love Mbeumo but Forest away is tough

Which one then mate? And who instead? Mbeumo has a rough fixture at Forest
