Sunday’s action brings an end to our first weekend of the season – a breathless 3-2 victory for Man City providing a fitting conclusion. Here’s our regular Members article, picking out some of the key stats from the weekend’s games…
Sergio Aguero @aguerosergiokun
The studies I had done revealed there's no significant injury but it was a very tough hit to my knee.Open ControlsEvening lads. So noticed baps already added.
Ended up wit 43 points with pienaar, terry lamps, torres(c) and fed to go.
Fairly average.
Considering shipping lamps for Michu.
Anyone care to give their opinion. It's either him or pienaar to go. Makes sense to get rid of Chelsea players with a blank gw3.Open Controlsagreed. i'm considering taking a hit and getting rid of all 3 chelsea players actually
Open ControlsYeah I've just got rid of Mata for Michu and may get in RVP/Rooney for Torres after tomorrow's game.
Open ControlsGotta hold on to one Chelsea for gw4
Open ControlsMakes perfect sense m8.
Doing same with Mata and keeping the cash for following weekOpen ControlsVery similar situation for me and i'm thinking the same. Give Pienaar a proper chance before shipping out imo.
Open ControlsI'm not dumping any of my Chelsea players after getting 35 points from 3 players and with still a game to go this week!!!!
Open ControlsThis ^^^^^
Open Controls
Took Michu out last minute, but replaced him with Dyer so can't complain, very annoyed I didn't stick with my gut and captain Haz!! Bit worried if Aguero is out cause I don't know who to replace him with 😮
Open ControlsAw man!! Dyer with 16 points as first sub!! There is a small amount of hope that Kagawa won't play tomorrow considering the depth of options United have in attack.
Open Controlsthe guy who's first overall ATM also had dyer as first sub 😛 gutted, he could've been miles ahead.
Open Controls
Am strongly considering an 8 point hit !
Cole, Lampard & Aguero -> Chico, Michu & Rooney/RVP or..
B. Cole & Lampard -> Chico & Michu -4
C. Lampard & Aguero -> Michu & Rooney / RVP -4
D. Cole & Dembele -> Chico & Michu -4
Suppose i'll have to get rid of Aguero anyway and I already have Tevez so A or C. Hmmm.Open ControlsSorry, but anyone outside the top 500,000 is already out of this
Open ControlsDoubt it... Stupid comment
Open Controls+100000000
Open Controls
Its not even GW1 mate your thinking far too much......
Open ControlsI think we can safely say overthinking is not this guy's problem...
Open Controls
U r clueless.
Open ControlsRookie yeah?
Open Controls
Anyone know anything about this Buttner dude?
Open ControlsHe's Dutch 😉
Open Controlsinteresting, won't be first choice then, just someone to keep Evra on his toes.
United will be interesting in FIFA and Football Manager for this season thoughOpen Controls
All I know is this quote:
"I played against the best wingers in the Eredivisie and none of them played me off the pitch. On the contrary, I owned them all….”
It's enough to want himOpen Controlsunless Evra gets injured, which is rare, he won't start many
Open Controls
There are only a few real quality fullbacks in the Eredivisie and he's not one of them. Still young enough to develop though
Open Controlshmmm i've onlt seen him a few times tbh but every time i have he;s been superb
Open Controls
Why did they change the bonus points system to the ESP points. Now Santi Cazorla got zero bonus and Carl Jenkinson 2 bonus. The system when some experts gave the bonus points (only 1,2 and 3 btw, now it's way too much since two players can finish on the same ESP points) was way more accurate. Now they're just trusting the stats.
Anyone who watched the Arsenal game can admit that Santi Cazorla had the biggest influence on the game.Open ControlsIs this post a year old 😉
Open Controlsu didnt play FF last year did u
Open ControlsIt's not even basic stats, they weight aspects in a rather odd way and penalise them a lot for shots off target because that harms their team's chances of winning the game.
As you say though you can get 8 or more players getting bonus points in a 0-0 where nothing happened and just 3 players in a game where they all put on excellent performances.Open ControlsI want the old dartboard system back, it was far more fun
+ i have cazorla, gime the baps thanksOpen Controls
Nocerino is such a hero
“Milan is Milan and remains a great club regardless of who plays. Besides, don’t forget last year they paid €3 and a fizzy drink for me, but I scored 11 goals!”
If only we could get such bargains in FPL 🙂Open ControlsI'll be tempted to get him again in UCL fantasy- one of my favourite fantasy punts ever! 😀
Open Controls
Didnt see any wrongway flex in Kuns knee when he went down.
Doubt he will be out more than a GameweekOpen ControlsA bit keen but, which 2 out of these 3 to start GW2?
Zabaleta (liv)
Clyne (WIG)
R.Bennett (QPR)Open ControlsClyne and Zabaleta
Open Controls
OMG!! I had Michu and Dyer and Petric and Ivanovic in one of my many of k's of drafts at some stage during the last month. Now I'm gonna come on here to state it.
Open Controlsthat's what they all say 😀
Open ControlsDont state it, We all had players we did well in GW1 in our drafts.......
Open Controlsall the so called experts told me on here michu is untried and a liability
Good job i go with my gut instinctsOpen Controls- Open Controls
Ivanovic(c) would have been a beast! Torres you swine.
Massive points hauls for Michu and Petric on their debuts.
Ridgewell at it again with the bps. He is the first defender on my list.Open ControlsStill one game to go, Torres could get another 4 🙂
Open ControlsIvanovic was the key in the Player Exchange. Only £130 per share and he went up nearly 10% (so far)
Open Controlsoooooo i forgot about that Player Exchange game. It any good?
Open ControlsIt's weird, you get the price of a share increased by player points, but then your total cash you earn isn't what the GW score is. It's only the percent increase per gameweek that gets added to a total 'score'.
Since you get the same value of increases but start with a larger pool of total cash it will get harder and harder to have a large percent increase I think. Easier to make a bad bet and lose cash to a missed penalty and a booking.Open ControlsI'll have to take a look. Cheers
Open Controls
Ridgewell is the Bermuda Triangle of FPL! Even putting him in my team didn't stop him!
Open Controls
pretty happy with yaya's 2 baps but weird tevez got none...all i need now is a brace for torres and I'll be very happy
Open ControlsWe didn't see tevez at all in the second half
Open Controls
Fair play to FPL, kept everything running well enough, filled a lot of our weekends with joy or agony and its all for free 🙂
now any chance you will give Torres 3 bonus points in the Reading game no matter what he does.Open Controlsalright, who's with me!
http://img1.uploadscreenshot.com/images/main/8/23108085842.pngOpen ControlsRight... I guess this is nothing new but I do get a wee bit pissed off at some of the posts on here. I note that Mark & Granny were here earlier and would like to suggest some guide to posting. My contribution would be:
Do not gloat or boast. No-one likes it and next week you may well will feel that same pain when your team fails.
Do not LOL at players injuries, EVER, even if your arch rival has the injured player. Your fantasy team is insignificant compared to the physical wellbeing of another individual (praying for a week long tummy bug is perfectly ok though! 🙂 ).
Do offer considered and well thought advice, and not just a wild and emotional response based on the “here & now”.
Thank people for the advice they give, even if you don’t rate it. They are trying to help you after all.
Don’t spam your latest, bestest league or “Join my…” rubbish.
Think about what you are posting and whether it is right for the moment. An RMT posted during extra time in a cup final will not be well received.
Be civil and polite, unless replying to some complete ignoramus who does not respond to civility and politeness.
Have respect for your fellow players and the trials and tribulations we all go through. You will have fantastic highs whilst others are low, and vice versa. Put yourself in their shoes and then just think, and then post.
That's it. I'm sure you can add more.Open ControlsAnyone for milk?
Open ControlsMakes since to bring Michu in tonight to gain the rise?
Open ControlsHate making v early transfers but looking at them next two fixtures you'd have to say yes.
Open ControlsI'm doing it SZ. Not a knee jerk. Better to be a week late than 10 weeks too early or have a Boselli. Owners themselves are calling it a knee jerk even with the fixtures. I'd be buying the likes of Cazorla if he had better fixtures, but alas, he doesn't.
Open Controls
Ben arfa worth a punt?
Open ControlsKnee Jerk transfer done... Ramires out Michu in...
Should have kept Michu from the start... Luckily don't have Aguero...Open ControlsAnyone considering Routledge? Looked decent yesterday. Cheap/good fixtures etc
Open ControlsDefo If anyone was proven to not be Premiership class it is Wayne Routledge
Open Controls
Quite a long way down the Swansea priority list, for me. I'd go for Michu, Graham or Dyer (in that order) for Swansea, and Routledge after that if you have to go for a cheap option.
Keep an eye on Sinclair, too. If he decides to stick around, Routledge will probs find himself on the bench sharpish.Open Controls
He did. Minutes still worry me
Open ControlsHow much will he start now that Silva is back though?
Open ControlsYep. My star performer this GW. Strangely unloved by the masses as hardly any transfers in.
Open ControlsDefo. Wasn't impressed with Silva today. Too much faffing about but Nasri has a real goal threat.
Open Controls
I think that Aguero will start against Liverpool, judging by his tweets.
Open Controlsglad i kept him was about to WC earlier
phewOpen Controls
