We delve into the data this evening in our first members article of the week. Watford, Man City and Everton’s strikers arrive under analysis, whilst we also assess United and Newcastle’s attacks before casting an eye over a couple of defensive differentials from City and Liverpool.
FPL Price Changes
Risers: De Bruyne, Hennessey, Ighalo
Fallers: Bojan, Gomis, Lambert, Rooney, Sakho (WHU), Walcott
Wednesday 04/11/2015, 01:13:49 AM (GMT)
Holy Hennessey, he's risen!2 risers 😎
Its a tragedy that Rooney's fallen after tonights goal though.Cheers. 1 riser.
2 risers yay
3 risers! 🙂 Hennessey, finally
TOTP… nice.
Sad that Kun hasn't dropped 😕Gomis 6.8 holy toot
Still not a bargain
very reasonable price for a striker with some lovely fixtures and shown before he's capable
He could be 4.8m but no good if he's not scoring.
well this is it the form isnt there but neither was Agueros before he hit newcastle for 5
Ooooo, all 3 risers. I'll take it. TV = 106.0 now (SV 103.6).
WOW that's a crazy SV given your TV!
mine is 106.2m and 102.9mThanks, Sinik. I think it is because I cashed in a few early risers in a gw 9 wc, which lowered the team value a bit.
"Hennessey and Simpson are wildcarder red herrings." - Balders, 10 minutes before price change. 😀
Can't say I'm upset at jinxing it but I am genuinely surprised he rose. Perhaps Ruddy's drop yesterday was a sign of things to come.
Wildcards will have slowed his assent, but they weren't the only buyers.
Thanks for the update though Cute Fluffy (Mechanical) Puppy.
Hennessey, darn. Still a bargain at that price providing he holds his place
Tv 104.5 SV 102 . A bit below average will it be a problem down the line ?
I am sure you can make it work just fine.
that's a great ratio though..
I'm 106.2m and 102.9mCheers score checks and team value checks are a bit annoying tbh
I know that is ironic but I wouldn't have asked unless people kept bragging about how high their team value is
Wow!
I better add Holy Hennessey to the list https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkPlk1T1Rjg 😉
😀 great stuff, I'm sorry I could only get a minute and a half through it before closing the window.
Imagine watching all of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9Uz1icjwrM 😯
I once did 26 minutes of this for a bet:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ukyc-QM5BUY
There were 5 of us in the living room with a quid in each, last man standing and all 😛That is impressive fair play 🙂 .
Only because there were cash and bragging rights (of sorts) on the line, I was going mental after about the 10th loop.
Totally forgot to make my changes. Thankfully the players I was gonna change didn't rise/fall.
Hennesey 🙁 He was my next transfer 🙁
@Balders: Following our discussion last page regarding Ighalo's value vs Kane/Lukku.
That may be true about Kane's xG, I don't dispute he's still under performing relative to his xG, but I still don't think it's large enough of a discrepancy between the two warrant nearly 4.0m more IMO. You can take captaincy into account perhaps, but I'm not sure there's much for this argument now with Agüero in the equation as Kane's best fixtures on paper in the next six also coincide with ideal fixtures for both Agüero & Kane.
If you were to analyze this from a very bare-bones xG perspective, to point toward regression & under performance: Lukaku (total xG = 4.8, total goals = 6.00), Kane (total xG = 5.78, total goals = 4.00), Ighalo (total xG = 3.20, total goals = 7.00). Perhaps a fairer comparison can be drawn between Lukaku & Ighalo, is there really that much a difference of xG here to really warrant an extra 3.0m? I don't think so, Ighalo's still taking quality poacher's shots in the box & has good accuracy to boot., he has great positioning & awareness.
In terms of points per million, I just can't see how Lukaku & to a lesser extent Kane, provide that much more. Now with Agüero back in the mix, I think value takes more precedence. Unless you're expecting double-digit hauls from both (which Ighalo is also capable of), considering the fixtures (lei, MUN, avl, NOR, sun, LIV, che), I just can't look past Ighalo's value tbh.Ighalo is the best value attacker in the game imo, and once Kun is back I am planning to get him in.
Hi Zasa,
You're right Lukaku's xG is much more comparable but I think Everton's fixtures warrant it especially as I am looking to captain him in gameweeks 13 (AVL) and 17 (LEI) especially as City have LIV and ars in those two games.
It is very close I'll admit and in my blog I do point to Kane -> Ighalo/Murray as an escape route if I don't ditch KdB. Time will tell I guess. I look forward to comparing our teams after your WC 🙂For sure, Everton look alright offensively & if Deulofeu continues to stay in the XI, I think I may prefer him as my Mahrez replacement. When he's started since Gw7 (four out of five matches), Everton have scored 10 goals & he's contributed to 6 of them compared to Lukaku's 7.
Same here 😉
I completely agree with everything you've said Zasa. I think people don't fancy Ighalo cause of the mere fact that they don't fancy Watford's attack. Its all about Ighalo tbh and to an extent, Deeney.
It's not pleasing to the eye, but he does get those points, I ditched him 2 weeks back even though I knew he is the best value in the game. Planning to get him back when Aguero's all good to go.A lot of it is that he's also a 5m attacker from the Championship too.
Sound planning, Ak.
Would you still be so hot on Ighalo if he'd scored 3 goals as expected? His goal involvement for them is 100% which is extremely unsustainable and Watford have (one of) the lowest xG in the league so even with good fixtures coming up he isn't going to do that much imo. However, at the moment you won't find a better value player but don't be surprised if he blanks 5/6 games in a row.
Not as unsustainable as you might think. The way we play is to feed the strikers - if you look at the stats for last year, Vydra, Deeney and Ighalo scored/assisted the vast, vast majority of goals (obviously only two could play at a time).
As for the blanking thing, obviously I'm biased, but as I'm sure you know, his record since he got a starting role in November last year is basically a goal a game.Fair enough. I'm just trying to add some balance to Zasa's argument. Even Austin's goal involvement was only around 60% last year so if he has that kind of impact to Watford his involvement is still going to drop. I'm not saying that he's a bad pick in any way.
Yeah 100% involvement is pretty absurd.
For what it's worth, I do expect us to score more goals in the coming games. I was really worried after the first 7/8 games that we barely looked like getting a shot on target, but during the Arsenal game there seemed to be a big change. Players are starting to get used to the system, and while the stats don't reflect it, the way the team have been playing I'd feel pretty confident about scoring against just about anyone.
This.
Fair points, Mull. I'm looking at him until Gw17/18 when his fixtures turn sour, so maybe then he'll start blanking consecutive games in a row. Until then, apart from his goal involvement stat, his underlying stats are still strong. Comparing him to Lukaku, he has more chances created & shots in the box in the last six. In terns of overall team goal threat, Watford are about even with Everton's in most areas. At 5.5, I can't fault him tbh. Strong upcoming attacking fixtures for Watford should do wonders for their xG, especially being high on confidence having beaten Hammers 2-0.
This xG map really boosts Watford's prospects imo, https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CSqcBJMWoAAWiPa.png:largeGenuinely should have scored 4 or 5.
If Deeney gets his shooting boots on soon he might become an option, could have had a few on Saturday.I hope so. He's been disappointing me in UFPL for the last 3 months whilst Ighalo has been banging them in.

Let them know what the people want! Why won't they let him on?
They will, TM's worried about accent etc, I want to show that's not a concern to us.
If it's a bogan accent it'll get you cheesed off
My accent is sooooo bland that I just love most other accents, I doubt I'll be cheesed off.
I'll have to make a vocaroo as a test one day.
I had to google that but o.k.
😯
TMs a rookie (sorry joke between us) yes get him on the scoutcast!
My rank would be a lot worse if i wasnt a member and i couldnt read this article. The fourth paragraph is very interesting.
Interesting.
Chose him over Kane and Lukaku. Excellent decision. 🙁
Lol speed reading this
Anyone who thinks captaining Bony last week was a bad idea is an idiot.
He got 2 points, therefore it must've been a bad idea 😉
Exactly.
No spoilers!
It wasn't a bad idea. It was a bad result.
How so? I'm tempted to become a member however I'm in a draft league so don't have access to a lot of players so not sure if it's worth it
It is. This article is eye opening.
I'm a member and my rank is rank.
Enjoyed the Scoutcast, good work.
looking forward to watching in a while always top notch discussion from the lads
Somebody has to get you on the scoutcast

Best one in a few weeks now.
Not watched yet but will do shortly
Was great, like the dynamic of three hosts.
I remember a few times years ago when it seemed a bit awkward with two, especially when someone got a roasting.I love watching the comments section, I was watching you
Yikes... scared.
Always, Always watching you
Ha-ha. Something must have got in your eye during the pre-season friendly on the weekend!
Very friendly affair, you were on off the top scoring sides though...
Always watching
How comes the recording isnt up yet? its usually up like clockwork
And there it is. Like clockwork 😉
Clocks went back an hour 😉

Look him in the eye and say you gonna drop him.
I can't do it.He's too beautiful to bench
It's him or Payet, and Pelle's away form hasn't been great, ever..
Hes no Giroud
This. Giroud is too beautiful
To K.O.L
Both are gorgeous but id rather Pelle, he looks like the type that would cook you breakfast in the morning
😆
Giroud any day. He's the kind of guy you don't really understand what he's saying, but you put up with it anyway because he'll be the one that makes sure all your needs are satisfied.
#smoldering
Interesting point. The french have the reputation of being generous lovers. I Think you may be right but Pelle is the type of guy who knows whats hes doing and will give you an experience that you will be dreaming about when you are in your 60s and wondering how different life could have been
Haha you win! 😛
A bit intense there for a wet Wed morning!
Nice a warm in Singapore 😉
You're right.
I can't look him in the eye.
bellerin will be fine. i didn't get a job modelling calvin klein underwear once because they said i had a small groin problem. less than a week later and i was back auditioning for other stuff
Quite humorous.

View all games in the lobby here:
https://playon.co/#/enter-gamesLooks like Hector will miss the weekend 🙁
Debuchuy is now tempting for my one week punt 🙂
don't be silly 😉 why are people +1 this haha
I plus oned because it is important info and if people are searching the thread by discussion rating then it'll be near the top.
that's nice 🙂 Looking at Wenger says, he talks about Bellerin then mentions the others are closer to a return, saying training on friday etc. which would indicate he's definitely missing the weekend, especially so he doesn't go to Int. Duty
That's some real reading between the lines!
😀
I +1 since it's about time things go my way
lol
looks like AOA will have to come out with Bellerin, B Davies & Hangeland on my bench!
Yikes
is there no word on rose injury, he had to come off on monday
Has he said how long he'll be out for YMA?
not yet
Ah right, cheers mate
I see Trigger has revealed more about Bonkers: "The workings are a complete mystery, as were programmed in when blind drunk."
😀He's lost it, completely lost it.
De Bruyne injured or rested last night?
Rested and came on
Dropped
Not really
Yes really. Pellegrini would have just said if he was tired otherwise. "Tactical and other reasons" points to being dropped
Why would he be dropped?
Theirs best player so far in the season
He just played every game so far
He needed a rest and he will start next game for suteAway at Sevilla is one of City's biggest game of the season.
It isnt really
You could say that for Utds game vs Cska and they played Lingard
Just relax its long season
No one can play every game
Have you guys ever play football,or even run?Yes, I do....
Anyway, Lingard is a first team player for now. And CSKA won't have any threat on United in this group. PSV and Wolfsburg are are bigger contenders.
KDB played the Norwich game, he didn't have to play that game AND he got hauled off early.
Best player of the season? Have u seen him play? Or are you just using the assist and goal stats to make an argument
Poor vs united
Awful vs spurs
Poor vs sevilla first game. He scored in the two games i mentioned but thats just blinding people...he was poor and i saw the entore gamesAbsolutely no surprise that every time he hasnt started this season city have won
Definitely dropped no matter what the reason.
He's knackered. He was dropped/rested because he wouldn't have been able to track back etc. So it's partly rested. Partly dropped
Very much this. People always think being dropped is a bad thing. Not always the case.
Incredible save, De Gea is the best in the world (or top 2 depending on your mood):
http://coub.com/view/8zd04.gifv
Imagine how Doumbia feels..pretty much did everything right and even mostly sold De Gea on the feint to the left..For the follow up he should have squared it to his teammate though. Although Smalling came running in like a champion, it would have hit Young anyway
yep agreed, though maybe whatever option he saw out of his peripheral before taking the shot "wasn't there" as Smalling covered a ton of ground in no time:
https://streamable.com/h1tn
(alternatively only had eyes for goal and didn't notice his teammate haha)aaand having seen this angle its not so great a save
United fan alert! Neuer is streaks ahead fully deserved 3rd in the Ballon D'or last year. He has dimensions to his game 99% of keepers don't even think about. As a keeper that Guardiola thinks could play as a midfielder in Bundesliga 3, that's just mind blowing. But yes very nice save 🙂
that's what the top 2 bit in parentheses was for..
streaks ahead? negatory. 😉yes streaks ahead. He's a libero first and a keeper second and does both jobs to incredible levels.
This'll give a nice run down of just how good he is at the libero role and how important it is for Bayern and Germany:
http://spielverlagerung.com/2015/01/09/in-depth-player-analysis-manuel-neuer/interesting I'll take a look, thanks Balders 🙂
Badaboom, badabing. He zings, you zang. Spielverlagerung is all knowing.
+1
Best in the world 😯
http://i.imgur.com/JvDhbQp.gifonly Neuer has a claim to being better, hence the parenthetical.
As for best keeper in the world? He's not even near best in the premiership. He has raw talent that still needs to be refined. Cech and Lloris much more intelligent keepers imo
Disagree. But to each their own. 🙂
The only keeper in the Premier League that contests DDG for best is Courtois, Cech just behind the pair and Lloris behind the trio.
Come on, nowhere near Neuer.
is there something wrong with the fpl profile pics? check out hennessey and mark noble, they're look a bit fish-eyed
*looking
Has someone left the Ozil filter on?
Why were you looking at Noble 😆
pen taker fetish

I'd be interested to know the rank of those knocked out? Are you able to get that?
This is one of the higher casualties.
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/743294/history/I'll give you a quick rundown in a sec. Obviously they all got red arrows so their ranks will be hurting this week a bit.
Cheers TM

Wenger confirms that Bellerin will miss Arsenal's trip to Bayern with a "small groin problem"
For the weekend than?i hope so!!
Friday pressers I recon
Embarrassing for Bellerin
Why?
Time for a coffee
I hate coffee....and tea for that matter.
😯 What's to hate?
Groin problems is usually because one slacks during warm up or other preparations.
But I guess Leaf was making a sexual punOh....
because he is missing the bayern game because of his small groin.
Wenger only likes big to medium groins, when your groin is small...you got problems..
😀
Hope so
(I know you shouldn't)
Watford will keep a CS against Leicester.
*Then you woke up*
Liverpool will win the league this year
I've considered it a possibility.
Still not contemplating benching Mahrdy.*Excluding Vardy
I'm playing Nyom instead of Francis.
Lets say Bellerin is ruled out this weekend, play:
A) Huth vs Watford
B) Evans @UnitedB, IMO.
Don't underestimate Pulis' exaggerated bus away from home as his better away record has shown. Four CS away (wat, stk, avl, nor) with a perfect record thus far vs at home with two CS's (SOU, SUN) & conceding 14 from 6 games. Granted context is needed hiving faced (MCI, CHE, SOU, EVE, SUN, LEI) in those homers, though nevertheless, their away record last year with Puls was also very impressive, ManUnited's attack is also one of the least creative in the league - Sunderland (74), Aston Villa (80), Man United (81), Stoke (82), West Brom (83).
Appreciate the analysis, thanks Zasa!!
B
B). Could even grab a goal against his former club!*
*Joke. There won't be a goal within a mile of that game.Jabba the Huth
I think I would do B regardless of whether Bellerin is fit or not.
OCD heaven: locked and loaded.
http://i.imgur.com/56OOEDT.jpgits beautiful...
😮Organised
Cheers. Quite proud. It's the only thing that's stopped me from captaining Darmian...
Delicious
You buy Adrian now you whore!
haha if only he wore claret too
A very good video on West Ham's early season form. It's very stats heavy but he makes some relevant points, also, the comments from angry West Ham fans are pretty funny.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2Ggk_P0fYM+1, he's always a great listen,
Arsenal fans in particular would do well to listen to his take on Arsenal's striker situation & why Giroud's an exceptional player.+1 just for the comments 😀
Play Payet (EVE) or Ighalo (lei)?
I would be terrified of benching either tbh
Ighalo, imo.
Uhmmm, uhh....
Both will do well I think. Impossible decision imo. This may sound crazy, but how about Sanchez? 😯I'm considering that too...hmm
Don't be silly
That's the 2nd time this week someone said that to me 😆 the first time being when I caused a stir on here when I said Rose should of kept his 2nd assist. I like being controversial 😎
I agree with benching Sanchez. He's a strong option to bench
Ighalo is a captain potential this week. Bench Payet
@Mull
Interesting table here looking at the players with the top 10 open play passes into the danger zone - https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CS4AkoiXIAABR-_.png:large - Deeney's at number three interestingly enough.I think number one is more interesting 😯
😉
Also of note, four Arsenal players here, incredible & it really says wonders about their xG. Özil destroys overall though, key pass per 90..I wonder how many are combinations within the DZ?
That'd be some interesting research, as a sidenoteI remember one of the Mike's writing an article before the CL quarterfinals on how Barcelona's attack is the best trio in the game & blows both Bayern's & Madrid's attack out of the water in terms of touches & passes in the DZ
Exact same piece I was thinking about!
Someone needs to call Kenny Loggins about this!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siwpn14IE7E😆
Oooh nice one Zasa, Arsenal are Barcelona-lite is confirmed again 🙂
Aye 😉 Double-up's still the way to go.
Cazorla on set pieces (inc pens) and still good for long shots and dz passes. Basically Liverpool 13/14's Gerrard without the avalanche of pens yet 🙂
Indeed mate, thinking along the lines of Giroud + Özil if Walcott's for a while
Hi guys,
As some people have been asking me about my FPL data pulling for the Grand Playoffs and the FIFFSA World Cup, I've made this viewable Google Sheet that can pull a players GW History, Chip History, Yearly History, Every Gameweek Starting XI, Gameweek Points (Live) and Gameweek Transfers (including hits);
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1L2Xdx_1O_dx8lPkrh7PfffKSbWzY4xtiFxICcMf4usw/edit?usp=sharing
If you want to have a play around go to "File" -> "Make a copy...". This will make your own copy in your google drive that you can then edit.Nice! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks, Balders.
Also added:
Transfer History and Gameweek Points by playerThanks for doing this.
I was never able to isolate the FPL IDs, and this seems to do the trick
Kim Jong Un was educated in a private school in Switzerland.
I think you meant Swaziland
No. It was definitely Switzerland.
@WR, do a little write up about your UFPL escapade because I don't know how it works, and I'd love to know
I'd enjoy reading this.
Not seeing much love for bringing in Ighalo on the boards this week...and quite a few flogging him for more expensive shiny new toys...Is he too cheap?
It doesn't matter who he plays for or how much he costs...what matters is how many touches in the box he gets, how many shots in the box, his shot accuracy...blah blah blah..
Top scorer in English football for 2015 and folk are flogging him for players of equal quality but three mill more...Must be crackers...99.6 Fpl stats
Yeah, mainly in the wider world...Not many on her bringing him in...if anybody at all...
I would say alot of people have priorities at the min . Alot of people have Vardy , Pelle , Kane , Lukaku . When Aguero comes back he might be a very popular pick
I might captain him
Aye....no reason why not.
May end up as my Aguero escape route if things don't go to plan.
Affords me to keep Ozil alongside Sanchez in a 3-5-2..or 3-4-3 some weeks when I choose......
What's your 5 mids?
I sold for Kane this week, the stats were something like Watford only scoring 8 goals although he has been involved in 6 of the goals prior to this week but a good price and easy enough to change back to if I decide.
*last week
True enough... How do you like these apples btw.. http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/3846/
An option in a few weeks time to accomodate Aguero probably
I've has him for a few weeks and he's going nowhere
Watford don't score many goals and are unlikely to for the remainder of the season. He's scored or assisted 9 of their 10. Surely not sustainable. That said, I thought he looked very good at the weekend and your points are all valid
Aguero really is a pain in the neck for this game. Bundles of money and some good looking picks but I find myself having to keep one eye on bringing back in a perma croc...
Would anybody else gladly see him not return ?....The games a lot better without him.I am tempted to say yes ... 😆
I only like it when he returns for his first game as I jump straight aboard. Not bothered after that.
I won't be getting him back. I'm chasing the pack though so....
Disagree 🙂
Why....?...He's the best pick in the game...but in no time at all everybody owns him anyway so he doesn't matter
This game is much better for all the diverse forward picks we have at the moment....Not everyone will be able to get him and some will think that KDB is enough 'coverage'. I also have my WC so have a plan to get him back whereas other will likely need to take hits. Purely from a selfish point of view I want him back.
In his last game before his injury last season he was in over 90% of "active" teams and was (c) in over 80% of "active" teams....
Before his 5-goal haul in GW8, many of the top 10k at that time did not own him.
If his injury had occurred just one week earlier, the rankings would look very different from how they do now.
Not rushing to get him back is a definite option, though not without a certain amount of risk.I'll get him for certain...My point is the actual game is better without him...
I prefer seeing all these diverse teams we all have now...Our front eights have been getting very similar though, and without Aguero our defences would probably follow.
...Or am I thinking of the previous game-week, when very few of the top 10k owned Sanchez?
Aguero, Sanchez, RVP...They have all had the same effect on reducing the game...
But not as much as Suarez, who really was essential.
Even when one player becomes essential, we still have to find another 14 players to complete our squads, so there ought to be plenty of scope for a certain amount of variety.
I'm not completely convinced that either Aguero or Sanchez is completely essential. There are alternatives to Sanchez in the Arsenal attack such as Ozil and Giroud. And Aguero is both expensive, injury-prone and not returning at Suarez's level.
Those who bought Aguero late and captained him in GW8 did very well, but those who captained him every GW from the start did not, although his haul in GW8 did partially make up for his earlier failures. Even if he returns to his best form and fitness, he isn't necessarily going to be the best captain choice every week - there are plenty of alternatives to take the armband when they have favourable fixtures.
No. I jumped huge in ranks with his 5 goal haul and since he got injured have got red arrows 🙂
Yeah but he'd be not much good to you now. He'd have been back to being in every team and captained in every team every week....He's only good for a couple of games until his ownership shoots through the roof.
It doesn't matter that everyone jumps on the bandwagon after the big haul.
The advantage of pre-empting the bandwagon should be a sufficient reward.
Would love him back. I think it makes it more challenging to find the bargain bucket picks that will get you points.
But by the same reasoning when he's not in the game he makes it more challenging...and feasible....to get picks right from right across the board....
I'm not arguing that he isn't the best pick...what I'm arguing is that the FPL game is better without him.And especially within the FFS community...where just about every single team will have him....
Certainly the 5 a side tournament will be a lot better without him...
I am considering not to get him back, just like Mark
He will have to get back to his old form to make me buying him for bloody 13m
The game's a lot better with him.
It causes a big differential between those who are desperately trying to fit him in and those (like Mark) who might risk trying to manage without him. Also between those who are keeping money in hand to facilitate his return and those who are spreading the cash around now and leaving the problem of how to fit him in till later.
It is more interesting when we have a number of different strategies to choose between and do not all feel obliged to converge on the same template.Definitely...and as you rightly say those "change over" times are fun. Sadly it doesn't last long before the inevitable mass transfers in and he just becomes a bit of furniture in every team.
Ighalo's a thing of beauty. Watford have scored 9 goals while Ighalo's been on the pitch, notching in 7 goals & 2 assists. That's 100% contribution to goals, talk about impact 8O. He also boasts a very healthy conversion rate
20% conversion rate: 7g/35 shots
54% Sh%: 7g/13SoT
His xG from Paul Riley's table is a great watch, look at those shots in the box. Marvellous - https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CS51yqPXIAEXVdZ.jpg:large
Some tables for the up-sell - sort by shots in the box, http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/public-stats-tables/view/939/
Vs one of the worst defenses in the league (lei), http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/public-stats-tables/view/6810/ - sort by headed goal attempts conceded, aerial duels lost & goal attempts in box conceded.
...& he's only 5.5. Upcoming fixtures (lei, MUN, avl, NOR, sun, LIV, che). C'mon lads, where's the love? He's way more deserving of love than what the false prophet Martial Farts ever got.My plan was that Vardy would obviously dry up and Vardy to Ighalo would happen. Just cant do it now!
Aguero Lukaku Ighalo
was the plan.Aha, I'm looking at that same frontline come Gw14 😯
Whats your frontline now though, Sab?Pelle Lukaku Vardy
Pelle to Aguero will happenSpend some money eh guys?
Aguero Lukaku Kane is where the big boys will be at 😉I wish
4.5 KDB Yaya Sanchez Mahrez
Lukaku Aguero Vardy
Is the loose plan with Yaya maybe moving out laterDon't think so Baldy, he's 5.5 & I think he'll get similar returns to whatever Kane/Lukaku produce tbh. I can't see the value or that big of a point swing in that front three IMO. Though what does sway me with that frontline is the matter that they're all arguably the best attacking assets with the most reliable source of points from their respective teams tbh.
I think it will be worth the value to be honest, his xG per 90 is a definite step 90 from the others I looked at last week and he's also yet to serve up any big chances for Troy Deeney whereas Lukaku and Kane have been able to serve up big chances to Kone and Lamela/Dembele on occasion. Also does it not worry you that every single danger zone SoT has been converted by Ighalo so far? A keepers got to get a glove on it more often in the future.
Unless you're expecting double-digit hauls from both (which Ighalo is also capable of), considering the fixtures (lei, MUN, avl, NOR, sun, LIV, che), I just can't look past Ighalo's value tbh.replied further forward 🙂
I sold him last week 😎
Me too ;-(
Same 😎
🙁 Damn Billy, you still have a WC to apprehend that though!
Me three. Didn't want to but something had to give.
Magic isn't he? I can't see past Aguero (soon) Ighalo & Vardy. Which means that Lukaku's stay in my team will be all too brief, good fixtures or not.
Thinking along similar lines, Reedy. He's the ultimate Agüero enabler & has a better run-in than Vardy/Mahrez, IMO.
I just can't bring myself to sell either one of Ighalo and Vardy. It does restrict me upfront a bit, but at least I'll be able to pump some more money into midfield.
I agree, though I think the dynamic Leicester duo may prove to be more expendable come Gw14/15 when the fixtures turn. I'm still skeptical of Leicester producing at this rate, but for now, you obviously can't fault it 😉
Yup. I'll reassess a few GWs down the line.
Agreed. Having bought him at 5.0, he stays in my team and makes getting Aguero in quite easy really
Front 8
Sanchez Mahrez Payet KDB Mane
Kane Ayoze Vardy
Good enough fixtures for Aoa? Now that bellerin is out.Wait for the dgws. I have no idea why people are obsessed with playing their chips right now.
sshhh
People are using their aoa whenever their defence is in shambles. I think i have quite a fee casualties is souare bellerin and a non playing targett
This
I hear what you say but the disruption created by getting sides to suit the chips can do more harm than good apart from the triple captain. Just my opinion!
Bench Ayoze.
Is he confirmed out?
yes, Real Suckratis Sociapath just confirmed it
🙄That Soks 😀
Doubtful*
I miss Aguero.
decided im going to swerve Kun when he returns initially
I thought that too but then realised who am I kidding. Soon as he's got a sniff of starting again he's back in my team.
im deadly serious.. dont knnow about you but the earliest i owuld consider him an absolute nailed on candidate for the armband is GW18
It's the fact I have gone backwards in rank since his injury and haven't prospered with a replacement seeing as I went with bony.
You go KingNidge! Show him who's boss in this relationship.
Meanwhile I'll continue to be his doormat because even though he lets me down so often I just love him when he's on fire.haha we all love Kun on fire theres no one like him but we dont know exactly when he will come back and how sharp he will be then there is the issue of captaincy im looking at GW18 Sun(H) as the first time id hand him the armband with no doubt
I'll probably skipper him as early as Southampon at home in week 14 if he's back. City have scored 9 in the last 3 occasions for that fixture.
il take Sanchez away at Norwich that week without a problem
Pelle is fulfilling me in different ways
You are not alone.
Agree. He'll be a great differential once he's back
Me too.
how much will he rise as soon as announced fit? Could make sense to get him in straight away for value alone.
I will have him in if he looks fit. Maybe avoid the Liverpool game as it is unlikely to be a huge scoring game for him even if fit then jump on afterwards.
Anyone who does the Bet365 inplay offers.
Bet £50 prematch get £50 bet inplay.
Bellerin is in the listing for first goalscorer he is as we know out and won't play your £50 pre match will be refunded as a non runner. And you'll get the £50 in play as a no lose shot to nothing. It is the in-play bet that gets refunded if it fails - value is up to initial prematch bet! (I think anyway) - from their email today:
Place a pre-match bet on the Bayern Munich v Arsenal game and we'll give you a risk free In-Play bet to the same stake (up to £50) on the big match. T&Cs apply.
To qualify for your risk free In-Play bet, simply place a bet before kick-off then, once the game starts, place another bet on any In-Play market. If your FIRST In-Play bet loses we will refund this stake, up to the same value as your largest pre-match bet (max refund £50). Where more than one In-Play selection is placed on the same bet slip, the risk free bet will be deemed to be the one which is first on the bet slip. Both would get refunding in this case. The Bellerin bet is like a normal void bet, but it activates the in-play bet. No risk as Tony says
ahh the non runner clause! missed that, it does say it may clear bets that cant lose though, although it hasnt so far...
I know fellas who do it all the time with those who haven't made the squad.
I know that.
But backing Bellerin prematch activates the free bet. And Bellerin is no lose unlike other things people will back to activate the free bet.
The secures a completely no lose bet.
You've done this before .... Gamblor!
*investor 😉
That's bloody genius. Unfortunately I've already done my usual over 0.5 goals. But that's ok 'cos I plan to punt on 0-0 anyway - unlikely it may be, but it's such a big price...and it'd suit Arsenal fine if they can manage it.
I get this but the possible lift on this is usually ridiculously low for my liking.
It'll be the return on over 0.5 more than likely so a few quid profit?Oh yeah, fully expecting all of £1 profit ha. But if the 0-0 comes in - that's what I'm really punting on.
Fellas I know went Joel Campbell non runner Koscielny anytime @ 18s with their free 50s crazy I thought till I saw Kos attacking the set piece Giroud scored from.
wow. Yeah, that'd be nice. I usually just cover the 0-0 offsite to guarantee the money back, and pick something out that I fancy in running.
But I'm not feeling very inspired this time and some think the game will be tight. Here's one such preview: http://www.goonersguide.com/football-pick-27366-Bayern-Munich-v-Arsenal.htm
