Christian Benteke had a tough time last season. Despite moving to Liverpool for £32.5 million from Aston Villa, the striker was cast aside by Jurgen Klopp in his effort to find a centre forward capable of bringing his gegenpressing approach to Merseyside.

However, Benteke has re-emerged on the radar of Fantasy managers following his move to Crystal Palace.

Having scored a textbook headed opener against Middlesbrough in Palace’s 2-1 win on Teesside, Benteke’s FPL price tag of 7.5 is likely to attract suitors drawn to his power in the air.

There are plenty reasons why that’s the case.

Although Liverpool seemed hesitant to use Benteke’s aerial strength to their advantage, Crystal Palace already appear to be building an attacking approach based around it. This suggests he could be on course to become an outstanding third striker option over the coming season.

      I am torn between playing 2 of these 3: Capoue, Barkley, and Gray. So, I may bench Gray or Barkley in lieu of Capoue, but I am still quite undecided.

      I'd say no. Antonio is excellent but Lamela hasn't done anything to lose his place in your team. Plus Spurs have good fixtures.

          He didnt start at Stoke because he flew in from Argentina late on Thursday. He is likely to play, but theres a chance he wont.

      Definitely now that Lamela is a rotation risk, I'm ditching him when I do my WC. I never got Antonio last season but am giving him a shot now

    I'm saving my FT this week but next week I'm obviously bringing Kun in (who isn't) but it's a case of bringing him in the right way for those of us that have played our WC. Is Ibra > Kun the right move? Things were great with both of them but admittedly it's proving difficult with 2 FT's. So far I'm currently on Sanchez + Ibra > Mane + Kun which would also leave me with £0.8 ITB. Yay or nay?
