Our weekly Fantasy Premier League quiz returns with 20 questions on the 2017/18 campaign.

We continue to venture back in time on a season-by-season basis and we’ve reached Mohamed Salah’s debut, record-breaking year at Liverpool – so there’ll naturally be one or two questions on the Egyptian.

There’ll be the usual mix of chin-scratchers on Fantasy returns and underlying numbers, with some of the statistics and images featured taken from our Members Area.

As ever, the questions range from the gettable to the fiendish – but we do at least give you four answers to choose from, to narrow the odds.

Click ‘next’ below to start the quiz and to cycle through the questions, and let us know how you got on in the comments section.

We’ll be back next week with the 2016/17 season.

Guys, do any of you play Football Manager, I was considering getting it but not sure.

I still play Champ Man 01/02 with the updated players in it which is great. I love how easy it is to navigate & play a season within a few hours.

Is FM 2020 worth getting for someone like me if I don't want to faff on with too many tactics, press conferences etc..

      Oh but you do.

Look if your considering then just get it. I am guessing your monetary expenditures are low right now so what you got to lose?

I was very similar to you.

Enjoyed the early games because they were simple and after about FM 2015 stopped buying them.

But lockdown got me to purchase FM20 and I've really been enjoying it.

It's SUPER in-depth and takes a bit of getting used to but ultimately your backroom staff can handle a lot of it.

If you don't want to do press conferences you can usually just send your assistant. I'm glad I bought it.

Not sure they can decide much before UEFA decide what they are doing as PL and all the top leagues will need to stay in sync with them.

Probably got a bit longer to find out....we're on lockdown for at least another 3 weeks in Ireland and can't imagine much will change after that either.

Same in my friendlies, I switched him out then brought him back in and downgraded DCL instead after he got 2 reds, 1 yellow and only a assist in four Everton friendlies. That could still come back to bite me however.

In a game that is less about graphics and more about processing, you won’t need to be aiming for solid framerates here.

The recommended settings for this title are showing their age by now, most budget systems will far surpass these straight out the box. The recommended settings will have you running this title with all the graphics and detail settings around medium/high pretty easily.

The real struggles begin when you are deciding how many football leagues you have loaded in your playthrough. The game will give you a handy 5-star rating scale for your game speed depending on what you select, but if you stick with the recommended nations, the recommended requirements will suffice.

Saw BBC were replaying England vs Germany from World Cup 1990. My thoughts on England's record in Euros / WCs since then:

    1990: Unlucky (lost on pens)
1992: We were crap (couldn't muster any goals)
    1994: Didn't make it
    1996: Unlucky (lost on pens)
    1998: Stupidity (Beckham)
2000: We were crap (but Portugal vs England was a good game, that you should watch if you haven't seen it)
2002: Beaten by a better team (Brazil)
    2004: Unlucky (lost on pens)
    2006: Stupidity (Rooney)
    2008: Didn't make it
2010: Beaten by a better team (Germany)
2012: Beaten by a better team (Italy)
2014: We were crap (disgraceful in fact)
2016: We were crap (disgraceful in fact, worse than 2014)
2018: Beaten by a better team (Croatia)

Don't think we can blame the managers. We have had a lot of good ones - Robson, Venables, Eriksson, Capello in that time.

Is there going to be search filters in the transfer page so a manager can keep tabs on the market like gw transfers in/out and other stats like form, value, influence etc.etc.?

Aren't you guys who have the Salah, Mane double up in Virtual FPL worried that Sheffield United have conceded less real life PL goals than any team other than Pool themselves this season, and this game is very much stats based ? It's an unstoppable force v immovable object type of match where something has got to give, but will it be enough to warrant that expensive double up from GW1 ?

That's the way I'm playing it. I'd never bench boost form the off in FPL, but others have been asking for spreadsheets to analyse the fixtures, tabs to keep track of the transfer market etc which suggests others are taking it seriously.

Thanks, RB. This seriously needs to be picked up by official FPL. It's so good!

By the way, do you think the reason they haven't paused FPL is because it is too hard to rewrite the software?

          Yes I think so

If and when FPL resumes to finish the season, will the matches run sequentially in the order that they were due to be played, or if for example, the FPL resumes in GW38, would the original GW38 match be played and then all the others start over (from March onwards)?

Or will they come up with a new running order based around travel or even based on using neutral grounds (again, around travel, so grounds not in London for example)?

I guess your thoughts, i don't think there is an asnwer available now?

      New order most likely.

Will be interesting and if you're correct, then the slow wildcard not really worth it (maybe getting rid of deadwood is fine). Second, to that, we don't know how the new gameweeks will look or if indeed it will be gameweeks, rather could be one massive gameweek (I hope we get to use our chips thought, most people probably have three chips to play).

Ton up, but there is no way somebody playing the game casually like me will stay up neat the top of the rankings.

Bonus points look a bit sketchy.

NUFC defenders still on clean sheet points, too - something to do with the last-minute winner maybe?

Three of the Newcastle backline credited with a clean sheet even though they were on the pitch when the goal was conceded?

Presumably a glitch Ragabolly because goal was scored in 90th minute?

Are you going to be able to create player points tables to show which players are performing the best in VFPL?
