So Kane.... Do we start planning with him in our teams now or do you reckon Bayern will come back again?

      😆 see below

I think Bayern will move on. Sounds like they’re already pivoting to Vlahovic

I'm pretty tempted to start with Salah and Alvarez, and then swing them to Kane and a 6.5 mid (Diaby or Mbeumo come to mind) after I get to captain Salah against Bournemouth and the transfer window has closed.

Opening 5 fixtures are actually quite good for him too. I could see him scoring in all of these games and hauling in some of them too…

With Kane staying, I think it’s Salah out of my draft for this team:

    Pickford (Areola)
    Stones Gabriel Estupiñan (Beyer, Baldock)
    Rashford Saka Maddison Mitoma (Nakamba)
    Haaland Kane JoaoPedro

Looks really balanced, has a very nice fixture run, and covers all bases. Could see myself doing Stones>Chilwell and Mitoma>Diaby shortly after GW1. Spurs double up could be a bit much but I’m encouraged by their lack of fixture congestion, keeping Kane, and the crazy amount of attacking they’ve been doing in preseason!

Looks great. Maddison is an interesting one, surely he benefits from Kane sticking around which I hadn't really considered.

Not so sure about Stones anymore though. If he's not playing that DMF spot that we saw last year then he's a huge rotation risk at centre back, especially with Gvardiol coming in .

Two assists to Kane yesterday if you count being fouled for the penalty! And he’s taken so many shots in preseason, had a few games with almost 9 shots. Now that Kane’s staying he seems a lock for me at that price point.

Agreed on Stones, I’m using him as a placeholder for a move to likely Chilwell in GW2. Know you shouldn’t plan transfers but I have that one in mind 🙂

I might get Shaw instead but I think Stones has the more favorable matchup in GW1

I remember Joao Pedro at Watford a few seasons ago.. Absolute electric... I don't know how guaranteed however he's going to be and I'd prefer Wissa... Other than that, I like the team and Kane and Halaand will be devastating

Yeah, Ferguson (and even Welbeck) will be nipping at his heels for starts. But at his price, he's crazy value when he plays.

Looks like he's going to start behind one of Welé or Ferguson, playing in the no.10 role.

I think it’s promising that he’s been their best player in preseason and already on pens. That combined with the fee, I’d be shocked if he doesn’t start at the beginning. At worst I want to take the punt because his price will skyrocket with a haul against Luton!

This actually looks really good. Much prefer Kane drafts to Salah ones. Although they're the same price the position works in Kane's favour. Kane + 6.5 mid much better than Salah + 6+5 forward.

      You're benching Chilwell GW1?

  4. pollz

Been tinkering through the last two weeks.
I am pretty set for my team but need to fill the three last spots.

    Pickford / Areola (Bench)
    Chillwell, Estupinan, Colwill (Bench), Kabore(Bench).
    Foden, Rashford, Saka, Fernandes,
    Haaland, Jackson

It now stands between going with (A) Ødegaard, Gabriel and Mubama(Bench)
    OR
    (B) Mitoma, Stones and Wissa(Bench most likely).

I feel B is more secure, but I really want Ødegaard, and think Arsenal will get most points firste 5 gameweeks, and with option B I feel I have a really though choice on if I shall bench Wissa? Thoughts?

Nkunku out for a couple of months. According to CFCBlues-com. MCL injury to the knee.

under Lampard yeah but much better manager now, new signings from last season more integrated, looks like they could actually have a decent striker in Jackson, something they lacked all last season

i mean Jackson is 7mil, cheaper than Fulham's main striker, 1 mil cheaper than Villa's main striker, .5 more than Forest/Bournemouth's main strikers, Jackson and Chelsea don't have to set the world alight for him to be worth it

He could be a great signing. I am thinking about getting him, but still not sure what to make of this Chelsea side. They will have a lot of players that haven't played alongside each other before.

That changes things. As said, Jackson is diminished without Nkunklu's service. I'm on Watkins and was intending on him being a placeholder for Nkunku. Now I guess he might be a placeholder for a Liverpool striker. I wonder if we should reconsider Chilwell's likelihood of returns too.

I like it and am also giving serious consideration to a no Haaland team, but with Kane Pedro and Watkins upfront and Maddison/Kulu instead of Bruno It opens up the potential Salah haul GW2 with the early wc option to bring in Haaland during the IB.

A no Haaland team is Alvarez instead uptop for the first 2 weeks and Salah out week 3 to fund it.

Have to cover city attack if not having Haaland and Alvarez will certainly get two starts week 1-2

Don't think you have to cover City attack at all without Haaland. They've looked slow all pre season, KDB seems injury prone and none of them are nailed at all. Except maybe Grealish.

They will still create and score a good few goals.

The only upside is cover with Alvarez, hope Haaland is quite and Have maybe Salah for a week 2 haul.

Isnt huge upside to be honest

Burnley will be open and attacking friday so city will for sure score 2-3 even if not at 100%,

You can't get a decent team with Haaland and Kane.

Old school FPL team, cheap defence, If Everton are sound at the back and Spurs attacking it will do well,
    Pickford
    Tarkowski Chilwell Estup Gabriel
    Havertz Martinelli Rashford Maddision
    Haaland Kane
    4mil Baldock, Nakamba, 4,5 F

Havertz could be Darwin also. He i reckon will make a mockery of his 7,5mil price tag

Havertz or Darwin is the dilemma

Repost sorry! Who should give way?
I have zero ITB but no weak players.
    Onana Areola
    Stones Estupi Gabriel Chillwell Udogie
    Martinelli Eze Saka Bruno Maddi
    Haaland Jackson and Joao
Which plyer(s) should I save some money on?

Why do you want to save money if you have no weak players?

Would love some feedback from you guys please if you don't mind:

Johnstone / Flekken (Palace and Brentford rotate very nicely)
    Shaw / Stones or Chilwell? / Estipinian / Gabriel / (4.0)
Rashford / De Bruyne / Eze / Saka / Garnacho
    Watkins / Haaland / Mubama
    0.0 ITB
    Thanks

Guys, I will play draft for the first time in one hour. Do you have some tips?
It's better to focus on forwards first?

Looks like Kane is staying after all.

    A) Haaland and Mbuemo/Mitoma/Eze
    B) Kane and Martinelli
