Kudus. Everton’s D has been solid. Each of the others has a good fixture for attackers.

I’d bench Bowen against a competent Everton/Dyche D. Hwang v current Newcastle D is a better fixture for him than Sheffield IMO.

    Thoughts please? 1FT, 1.5M ITB

    Areola
    Trippier, Gabriel, Estupinan
KDB, Saka (c), Foden, Gordon, Hwang
    Haaland, Watkins

    Dubravka, Semenyo, Doughty, Porro

Solanke double rise makes me priced out by exactly 0.2M for KDB & Semenyo > Son & Solanke (-4), so do I take a -8 for Estupinan > Senesi as well? All incoming players would start (Hwang to bench)

Hold and play Hwang. Do those same 3 moves next week for -4 as long as Senesi doesn’t get a YC.

And bench Estu. Play Porro if fit or Doughty if not. Estu starting can’t be trusted and 1 point cameos are frustrating.

Play Hwang over Toney. Think the Newcastle suits him better than Sheffield and Newcastle has been poor defensively. I’d also play Bradley this week if you think he starts.

Anything worth a -4 here? 2.8m in the bank & unsure on leaving Palmer/Porro on the bench but no idea who to drop for.

    Areola
    Botman - Gabriel - Senesi
    Saka - Bailey - Foden - KDB
    Solanke - Haaland - Watkins

    Dubravka - Palmer - Porro - Doughty

I think you're G2G. Porro back soon and if you haven't lost Palmer yet, I wouldn't want too. Only changes I'd consider would be GK out for Neto but doubt that's worth a -4 to be honest!

      A. Out of favor and getting cameos . . . if you're not FH in 29. Konsa could be fit by then? If you will FH 29 then both need to go and I’d probably sell the injured player first.

What you do with Estupinan is a mere whisper in the wind.
The defining decision that will very likely determine your success is what you decide to do in GW 29.
Currently it's 50/50 for F. Hitters against those that will soldier through, I'm pretty
sure I will be one of the soldiers . Godspeed my fellow knights ....

Yes agree if you only have 2 I guess your hand is dealt so you have to maximise on the next couple gws to get you the edge.
I have 5 but likely 6 already so is easier to get to at least 9 starters but likely 10 with 2 or 3 max hits .

It’s a matter of who your other players are.

Watkins, haaland, Solanke aren’t getting benched

Palmer, Saka, son, KDB, Bowen likewise.

Only so many spaces in the team.

If he was playing Sheffield again this week I’d start him though.

I’m currently building towards it with transfers and saving FH for a double game week.

It's kind of funny actually how the game actively rewarded players that went for players in GW29.

The managers that decided to 'attack' the fixtures like Odegaard, Hwang, Neto with a view to FH29 all got burned while the Luiz, Bailey, Bowen crowd all got rewarded.

In FanTeam where there's no FH, I went Luiz in every team and surged up the ranks.

    1. Ginkapo FPL

West Ham and Villa were better picks than Wolves irrespective of gw29. Wolves dont destroy teams, which defeats the benefit pf playing the Blades.

Villa score goals, especially at home. And they were playing a team that concede plus they have a good schedule in the short term and a fixture in 29. Additionally, Luiz is on PK and FK and either him or Bailey cheap enough to be eight attacker if desired. They were/are good picks.

Ode, Hwang, and Neto could do well this week too.

I would not rush. If Son stays on the wing, I would not do it personally.

Probably just rotation given Maresca said Leicester would make wholesale changes themselves.

If it were a rotation he’d be on the bench 100%

Personal issues to attend to perhaps.

That didn't take long, lol. I guess it may solve a lot of benching headaches this weekend.

Solanke out of squad. Sounds like an injury to me.

I'm sure he's played all other fa cup games or at least been in the squad

I think he was left out in one of the earlier rounds. We will probably find out soon enough.

He went down heavily on the weekend but got back up despite moving gingerly for 5/10 minutes.
    may be precautionary

    Dubravka Turner
    Maguire Gabriel Pau Taylor Porro
    Saka Foden KDB Hwang Palmer
    Watkins Haaland Archer

1 FT 2.9. Best move this week:
    A) Archer > Solanke
    B) Porro/Pau > Senesi
    C) KDB > Son
    D) two of the above for -4. Which?

    1. Nanook

A this week if Solanke fit and C next week. Or hold transfer if you think KDB starts and do both next week for free.

Thanks! Not sure whether KDB starting the FA cup match just now is good news or bad for owners like myself

I’m in the same boat. I’ll likely move KDB to Son this week or next depending on fitness/minutes.

Here goes. For those wanting maximum carnage in BGW29, you want all the PL teams to beat lower league opposition (no kidding...) and the following:

    Luton over Man City
    Brighton over Wolves
    Man U over Forest

This means no extra games in 29 beyond the 3 that already exist.

A major piece of silverware is essential for the fans and club and they'd love to win the fa Cups.

Wasn't meant negatively towarda their aims for the FA Cup... just pointing out. Might lead to tired legs or even inhures.
