    Diaz to Trossard/Martinelli or Foden on a FT?

    I have 0 City, and only Havertz from Arsenal.

    Trossard/Martinelli seems like a 2 GW punt, while Foden could be longer term.

    Is Diaz HIM this season? Or is this just an above average start?

    How would you get Haaland in?

    A. Salah + Wood + TAA ---> Haaland + McNeil + VDV

    B. Salah + Havertz + TAA ---> Haaland + Mbuemo + Romero

    C. Salah + Havertz + TAA ---> Haaland + McNeil + Gabriel

    D. Salah + Havertz + Neco ---> Haaland + McNeil + Mykolenko

    Rather keep Salah or get Saka, or Palmer, on WC?

    Have no other Liverpool or Chelsea players (though could use any downgrade funds to grab TAA), have Gabriel and Havertz for Arsenal already

    Will likely change to Palmer in GW9 either way, fwiw.

      Ah, I see why you ask!

      Team looks good, and I’d say play Faes tbh, having rethought what I said above - go home team when in doubt!

      You weren’t worried selling Salah ahead of Palace game, and not put off by Palmer next two fixtures? I’m struggling on WC as want Palmer from GW9 but prefer Salah’s next two

      1. Miguel Sanchez
        2 years, 20 days ago

        I had Palmer already from a GW3 WC where I decided to go Salah over Haaland. Salah over Haaland worked last GW but largely hasn't and I had always planned in the switch this GW.

    Essential to own Haaland this week or can I wait until IB?

    Waiting feels correct but sat just outside the top 1000 overall which could change rapidly with Haaland being nearly 200% EO this weekend.

    2FT 2.4itb

    Sanchez (4.0)
    Trent Lewis Konsa (Greaves Dunk)

    On WC, would you stick with ESR (have value built up, benching him this week, though) or pivot to McNeil?

    Or even Rogers as 4th mid (currently 5th) and go cheap with the likes of Carvalho?

    1. Tonyawesome69

      Suggest checking ESR rotation with other attackers. I would leave Rogers as your 5th mid rather than bumping him up

    Who fits into the below WC attack best, as currently constructed (still debating Salah out for Saka next 2GW, then Palmer)?

    A) Harvey Barnes (starter?)
    B) Anthony Gordon (more nailed than Barnes but less £ left for flexibility)
    C) Brennan Johnson (not sure on Spurs double up)
    D) Dwight McNeil (cheap, good fixtures and form, just probably the worst actual player - and could also be bought instead of ESR, alongside one of the others?)
    E) other (could include going cheap to bolster defence or leave money ITB)

    Salah Mbeumo ___ Rogers (ESR)
    Haaland Havertz Solanke

    I'm wavering on Salah>Palmer on wildcard. Last night increased my doubts! Trouble is the saving gets Gvardiol back for me to give me a bit more beef for City vs all the Haaland cappers. Such a close call. I will have 2FT next week but would like to get back up to 3 really.

      I’m in the same boat matey, see above!

      I think your team looks good as is, imo. Would you consider booking in the Salah to Palmer move for GW9 instead?

      Having 2/3FT could make that easy, regardless of the old “don’t book in future transfers”

        That's my thinking currently. Just feels wrong having transfers booked in post-wildcard! Will prob play Greaves this week and bench Robinson. So Palmer & Gvardiol and save 2 FT's down the line v Greaves & Salah I guess...?

    a) Eze to Johnson/Maddison (not enough funds to get premium mid in next GW)

    As Bruno Fernandes had his red card rescinded, does he get off totally as in not get downgraded to a yellow, or is it judged being unfairly in their eyes being off the field non punishment enough?

    And with regard to fpl, as the appeal happened after the opta confirmation, I presume his minus points for the red remains on fpl?
