We’ll get the Gameweek 35 team news from 15 Premier League managers on Friday as the pre-match press conferences continue.

You can find all the key injury updates in this article, which will be refreshed throughout the day.

For the headline news from Thursday’s three pressers, check out this round-up here.

The stand-out quotes from Daniel Farke’s press conference, held on Wednesday, are here.

Burnley are the odd ones out this week. Scott Parker had been due to face the media on Thursday but parted ways with the Clarets on the same day. Interim manager Mike Jackson will take charge for the run-in but won’t have a presser ahead of Gameweek 35.

KEY GAMEWEEK 35 TEAM NEWS FROM FRIDAY

FRIDAY’S PRESS CONFERENCE TIMES

LIVERPOOL

Arne Slot repeated the prognosis that Liverpool gave on Mohamed Salah (hamstring) earlier this week – that the Egyptian’s muscle issue is relatively minor and that he’ll feature again this season.

“Usually, he’s earlier fit than other players after a minor injury, because he has a minor injury. We expect him, indeed, to be back in the final part of the season, but not for Sunday.” – Arne Slot on Mohamed Salah

Elsewhere, Alisson (muscle) is yet to train but is not ruled out of Sunday’s trip to Manchester United.

“Ali hasn’t trained with us yet. [He is] very close to training with us, so I have to hear today from the medical staff if he is able to train today or either tomorrow or otherwise, the start of next week.

“He is very close but, of course, also we don’t want to take any risk, because that’s never what you do with a player and that’s also not what we do now.

“I think there’s a difference between a goalkeeper and [an outfield] player. If a player hasn’t trained for a few weeks, players need to run much more than goalkeepers do. I don’t think the issue with a player is when he’s out for four or five weeks that he forgot to know how to play football. It’s usually that the fitness levels are not at the levels to play at this intensity that the Premier League is asking. So, there’s a difference between a goalkeeper and an outfield player.” – Arne Slot on Alisson

Milos Kerkez has “had some niggles” and exited training on Wednesday but Slot says he should be back on the grass ahead of Gameweek 35.

“Milos has had some niggles, left the training pitch… on Wednesday. But I expect him to either train today or tomorrow.” – Arne Slot on Milos Kerkez

ARSENAL

Jurrien Timber (ankle) and Kai Havertz (muscle) remain out this weekend, along with longer-term absentee Mikel Merino (foot).

“Kai and Jurrien will be out.” – Mikel Arteta

Otherwise, Mikel Arteta said he was hopeful that Arsenal had emerged unscathed from Wednesday’s match in Madrid.

“I think so. So, let’s see how everybody is tomorrow morning. Obviously, we haven’t been able to train much. Tomorrow, we will have the final update.” – Mikel Arteta, when asked if “everything is looking okay” on the team news front

A journalist followed that answer by seeking more clarification on Martin Odegaard, who came off against Atleti, and Arteta introduced an element of doubt.

“Let’s see.” – Mikel Arteta on if he was “confident” that Martin Odegaard will be available

Away from team news, Arteta discussed his midweek decision to move Declan Rice into a ‘six’ role and play Martin Zubimendi further up.

“Every opponent has [their own strengths] and we believed in the last game that it was the best thing to do, to help them to find the spaces and time, and surprise them with certain movements. In relation to the opponent, we can change that.” – Mikel Arteta

MANCHESTER CITY

Pep Guardiola says Rodri (groin) is making good progress but added that it is too early to make a call on whether he’ll feature in Monday’s clash with Everton.

“He is getting better. Still he didn’t train with us so we will see, the next days.

“Always I am confident.” – Pep Guardiola on Rodri

It sounds like Ruben Dias (thigh) is still out, along with long-term absentee Josko Gvardiol (leg).

“[Ruben] is not yet with the team but he is getting better. Him, Josko and Rodri are better.” – Pep Guardiola

MANCHESTER UNITED

Matheus Cunha (hip) has returned to training this week, having missed Monday’s win over Brentford.

Michael Carrick implied that there was still an element of doubt, however.

“Matheus has done a little bit of work, so we’re hopeful. We’re not sure but we’re hopeful.” – Michael Carrick on Matheus Cunha

Matthijs de Ligt (back) and Lisandro Martinez (suspended) remain out but given that Carrick didn’t mention Luke Shaw – who came off against the Bees – when asked about the left-back’s fitness, we’re assuming he’s fine.

“Matta is still a little bit further [away], he’s not involved in the game, but other than that we’re in good shape.” – Michael Carrick on Matthijs de Ligt and other team news

CHELSEA

Reece James (hamstring) and Levi Colwill (knee) have been in full training over the last few days and could be involved against Nottingham Forest on Monday.

Colwill has had a couple of run-outs for the under-21s recently after a long-term absence.

“Reece is back in training. Levi is back in training. Both looking good. A little bit of way to the game, so we’ll see how they do, day by day, but both are looking promising.

“We don’t want to push too much but we’re just taking it day by day.

“Potentially [in the squad], yeah.” – Calum McFarlane

Estevao (hamstring) is out for the season.

We’ve not had an update for some time on Filip Jorgensen (groin), who had minor surgery in mid-March, or Jamie Gittens (hamstring), who had yet another setback last month.

NEWCASTLE UNITED

Anthony Gordon (hip) has rejoined training this week and a late call will be made on his involvement.

“He did part of the session on Wednesday, great to see him back and on the pitch.

“We’ll make an assessment on his fitness closer to the game, we’ll see how he gets through today.” – Eddie Howe on Anthony Gordon

Tino Livramento (thigh), Fabian Schar (ankle/foot) and Emil Krafth (knee) are still out.

“We hope he can get back to full fitness before the end of the season.” – Eddie Howe on Fabian Schar

Joelinton returns from a two-game ban.

“He’s got that mentality that we need more of from more of the group. You see it from him every day in training. He’s the one setting the standards in terms of that aspect. So, when he’s not playing, we certainly miss something of his unique qualities.

“It’ll be great to have him back available. He’s a huge player for us in a number of positions.” – Eddie Howe on Joelinton

Lewis Hall was benched last weekend, and there are no guarantees he’ll return this Saturday.

“I made a decision last week to change the backline in respect that we haven’t kept enough clean sheets. I felt we needed to change something. So, obviously, we changed our goalkeeper, we changed Lewis [Miley’s] position, and I felt it had a positive response to the look of the team. That’s no reflection on Lewis [Hall], that’s a reflection of just what the team delivered in that game.

“And also… we needed the height from set plays. That was a big thing in that particular game.

“So, it was a sort of collective thought around that decision. And, yeah, every player has to fight for his place and when you play, you have to do enough to demand to stay in.” – Eddie Howe

Nick Woltemade made an impact off the bench at the Emirates, teeing up a great chance for Yoane Wissa, and Howe was more positive on the pair than he was a week ago.

“I thought his pass for Yoane [Wissa] was sublime against Arsenal. It was great to see those two actually link together and look like they could be a potential partnership for us.” – Eddie Howe on Nick Woltemade

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Dominic Solanke (hamstring) is out of Sunday’s game but Roberto De Zerbi couldn’t offer a timeline on the striker.

Spurs confirmed earlier this week that Xavi Simons‘ season was over thanks to a serious knee issue.

Guglielmo Vicario (hernia) is yet not available for selection, while Cristian Romero (knee), Mohammed Kudus (thigh), Wilson Odobert (knee), Ben Davies (ankle) and Dejan Kulusevski (knee) remain on the sidelines.

James Maddison (knee) has been named as a substitute over the last two Gameweeks, but only in a non-playing capacity. De Zerbi says he still doesn’t know whether he’s able to contribute anything on the field.

Destiny Udogie (muscle) could be back in contention, however.

BOURNEMOUTH

Andoni Iroala almost has a fully-fit squad at his disposal.

Justin Kluivert (knee) is back in training after months on the sidelines, although this weekend will likely come too soon.

“I think it’s very positive news for us. Justin is a very important player in our team, he has been training still not fully this week but at a good level. Probably, Sunday arrives too early for him, but I think he will help us in these last games of the season. He will have, I hope, quality minutes.” – Andoni Iraola on Justin Kluivert

Lewis Cook (hamstring) is the only definite absentee but even he is earmarked for a return next week.

“The only one out is Lewis Cook. Lew, I hope, next week starts training with us.” – Andoni Iraola

BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION

Diego Gomez (knee) remains unavailable but Fabian Hurzeler is very confident he’ll play again this season.

“Yeah, he’s right. The agent is right. Not always the agents are right, but in this case, definitely right!

“We’ll see him back this season. I think he’s also quite close to coming back to the training sessions.

“He’s back on the training pitch and he will be available, I think, next week.” – Fabian Hurzeler, when asked about Diego Gomez’s agent claiming that the Paraguayan midfielder will play again this season

James Milner won’t return from the unspecified issue that’s ruled him out of the last three games, while Solly March is still sidelined with a muscle problem.

“Unfortunately, both not available, but both very close. They will be in training next week. So, I hope that there will be an option for the next game.” – Fabian Hurzeler on James Milner and Solly March

Stefanos Tzimas and Adam Webster (both knee) are long-term absentees.

Mats Wieffer has an ongoing ankle niggle, something that forced him off against Chelsea at half-time. However, he has trained all week and is available.

“Good. He trained the whole week. It’s a small issue with his ankle. He had it through the whole season. So, therefore, we try to keep helping him, to keep improving his ankle, and he will be available for tomorrow.” – Fabian Hurzeler on Mats Wieffer

Danny Welbeck had his usual midweek benching in Brighton’s last Premier League match but comes back into the reckoning for Gameweek 35.

“Every game, every game is a match to start for him.” – Fabian Hurzeler, when asked if this is a match that Danny Welbeck can start

“Definitely a factor and, like I mentioned, players always have a feeling when they come to a place, when they face opponents that they know, ‘Yeah, that’s the opponent I like to play against, there are weaknesses I can find against them'”. – Fabian Hurzeler, when asked if Danny Welbeck’s two goals against Newcastle in the reverse fixture are a selection factor

ASTON VILLA

Amadou Onana is out of Aston Villa’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur this Sunday.

The Belgian was absent in Gameweek 34 but returned for Villa’s UEFA Europa League semi-final on Thursday before being forced off again.

“Difficult. He has a scan, and we will see the consequences after it and how he is feeling. But for Sunday, it is sure he is not available.” – Unai Emery on Amadou Onana, quoted by the Villa website

Boubacar Kamara (knee) remains Villa’s only other injury absentee.

Ross Barkley and Alysson are available domestically, having not been named in the Europa League squad.

BRENTFORD

Vitaly Janelt (foot) and Jordan Henderson (unspecified) are “pretty close” to returning. Keith Andrews will make a late call on those two.

Rico Henry (hamstring) is still out, along with longer-term absentees Antoni Milambo and Fábio Carvalho (both knee).

“Vitaly and Jordan are pretty close, we’ll make a decision on that tomorrow. So, yeah, they’ve made good progress

“Rico is not as close.” – Keith Andrews

There are no major concerns from Gameweek 34.

“A couple of knocks, here and there, but no, I think we’ll be as we were.” – Keith Andrews

EVERTON

Beto is fit for Everton’s clash with Manchester City on Monday.

The striker missed the Gameweek 34 loss to West Ham United, having suffered concussion in last month’s Merseyside derby. He has resumed full training this week.

Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring) and Jack Grealish (foot) remain sidelined for the Toffees.

“Yes, he has had to go through the protocol for concussion, which was correct, so he’s gone through that period and he’s been training.” – David Moyes on Beto

Moyes suggested there were a few bumps and bruises elsewhere but nothing serious.

“At the moment, everything is as we [were]. Like [always], we have a few knocks and niggles so we’ll just have to see how things are come Monday night.” – David Moyes

NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Vítor Pereira says he is unsure if any of Nottingham Forest’s injured players will be available for Monday’s clash with Chelsea.

Murillo (muscle), Jair Cunha (shoulder), Dan Ndoye (unspecified) and Ibrahim Sangaré (unspecified) were all absent for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League win over Aston Villa.

“Honestly, I don’t know [if any players will return from injury]. We had bad luck to lose two wingers in Callum and Dan. We’ve had bad luck to lose two centre-backs in Murillo and Jair, and Sangaré.

“This is a big opportunity for the players who are working hard to play and to prove they are in the right condition to help us in this special moment of the season.

“I really don’t know if [Jair and Murillo] will be available. I have to wait for the three days and hopefully, there will be good news about the injured players because we need them.” – Vitor Pereira, quoted on the Forest website

Callum Hudson-Odoi (muscle) has already been ruled out for the rest of the season.

John Victor (knee), Willy Boly (knee) and Nicola Savona (knee) are also long-term absentees.

Ola Aina hobbled out of Thursday’s game but Pereira is hopeful.

“I said to him, I’m sorry but it’s impossible for you to be injured! He said he will be in the right condition, and I hope he will.” – Vitor Pereira, quoted on the Forest website

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

Ladislav Krejci (neck) won’t recover from injury in time for Saturday’s match with Sunderland.

There’s a fresh blow, too, as Jose Sa is set to miss one to two weeks with an ankle injury. Dan Bentley will deputise in goal.

Personally yes I think he's now a better option, but I would value more greatly having an additional FT in the bank to gain an advantage in the last 1-2 GWs. If you have 4 or 5 FTs then yes, but if it's your last FT I would try to bank them now. Flexibility is going to be key over the next few weeks.

B - C first bench but I'd be tempted to start them both over Okafor

Thanks, just scared not owning Gab. But they are all good this week for sure. Even the 2 benched defenders are good options this week

I'd be tempted to start Rogers or Welbeck over Okafor or DCL
