on WC, any suggestion on defensive line ? have 1.0 itb

    Areola, Turner
    James, Chilwell, Royal, Botman, Beyer

      Chilwell Botman Beyer sure.
Cheap goalkeepers if you want, why not.
Che double up? Not for me.
Royal - pure kneejerk, but then you're wc-ing at the end of gw1...

      1. Emiliano Sala
        • 9 Years
        2 years, 4 months ago

I'm not that type of kneejerk players, but spurs full backs are really really attacking
and royal a bit more central.
yeah I just thought i needed it. because of chilwell, james, salah, diaz, diaby and jackson
        I needed it, why not ? 🙂

I’d go Udogie if going for a spurs defender. I think Henry a better option than either Royal and Botman at this point. Botman poor fixtures until gw6

will bench botman till fixtures turn, don't want to waste a transfer on bringing him in, or possibly lose 0.1 value.
Henry? bou? they will concede in every single match. but thanks for your suggestion bro

Rico Henry from Brentford. Had one assist and should have had a second but Mbeumo missed a sitter. Brentford looked pretty solid. If I wasn’t holding my FT I’d get him in

Chilwell, Estupinan, Henry, AWB + 1.

Possibly Saliba but Botman and Royal both showed attacking intent.

Not sure you need to wildcard tbh.

    My backline:

    Gabriel Stones Chilwell Baldock Beyer.

Given the rotation / injury / no fixture risks I really do need to move gab to estupinan don’t I ?

    1. Emiliano Sala

      i would not.
      brighton will concede

Never rush into anything this early. Gab will probably play next game. Estup good for next two then will either be benched or transferred. Stones would be more of a concern for me to be honest. Consider stones to Henry. He was brilliant against spurs and has good fixtures and frees up one million cash.

The guys a prominent attacking wing back who will get clean sheets too.

I’m getting them for attacking returns, clean sheets would be a bonus.

Only concern is fitness / injury but it’s a risk I’m willing to take with those fixtures. Also eyeing Enzo in for Garnacho.

For now you'd say Sanchez and Areola or Turner.

But Chelsea may sign someone and Raya could be the pick by gw3.

It's much more likely to be the case than not.

After one surprise change to put the extra man into midfield with Partey at home to Forest.

Yeah James could work (no one else really stands out to me atm if you already have Chilwell & Estupinan) although I wonder if he'll be back in a more reserved role in a back 4.

Spurs could suit Rashford better but full disclosure I have Jota & no Man Utd so I can certainly see the appeal

I know little of Diaby, is he any good? Certainly is getting talked up a lot around here, is it likely he will bring in the points or is it better going with players like Mitoma, Eze, Mbuemo and so on?

    1. Rbyrne95
      • 9 Years

Good in pre-season, scored GW 1. According to Andy on FPL (YT), although the data is very small, he's expected the most points out of 6.5 mids with Eze and Mbuemo moving forwards. However, when Europe games start his mins may be less.

He is a baller and should have come in at £7.5M. He is also playing upfront as he will most of the season, a bargain at £6.5M

I think I prefer him to Mitoma (fixtures really are not that great after the next couple GWs and they score goals over their team), Eze and Mbuemo less sure, I'd have to see him play a bit more. Mbuemo on pens with their fixtures is staying for me unless Diaby really starts pulling up trees
