Pick one please. Need to move before price changes to afford B:

    A) Gordon —> Mbeumo (FT)
    B) Gordon + Isak —> Palmer + João Pedro (-4)

    Cheers!

Tough because both look appealing, but Newcastle may actually show up this weekend for a big home clash with Spurs

Would you start Porro ahead of any of these 3 defenders?

    Henderson
    Gabriel Gvardiol Robinson
    Saka Jota Eze ESR
    Haaland Isak Muniz

    Bentley Porro HB Sangare

I’d maybe think of starting him over Robinson. Porro offers goals/assists, always an offensive threat

Am I G2G or what should I do with my 1FT?

    Pickford
    Burns, Konsa, Gvardiol
    Eze, Rogers, ESR, Salah
    Isak, Havertz, Haaland

    Turner, CHO, Harwood-Bellis, Faes

    1.0IF, 1FT

    Burns > Robinson?

    any help appreciated 🙂

It’s interesting seeing the two budget midfielders in most WC drafts (ESR+Rogers)

Seem like potentially great enablers, but being that midfielders typically score the most points- the 7.5 options (Gordon, Bowen, even Eze, Mbeumo) are season keepers and being ditched way too easily.

Time will tell but I’m sure later WC’s will look much different. I suppose Roger’s is well worth the risk at his price, but obviously blocks a midfielder spot

    1. putana
      • 7 Years

it's because people are going for palmer AND salah in mid. Combine that with Haaland and you can't afford the 7.5 mids.

It will be interesting to see if two 7.5 can outscore palmer and esr/rodgers

Despite planning to downgrade Trent to boost defence later in season, is this back line too risky?

I’m planning to play Nedeljkovic just until GW6. I can’t see Bogarde starting yet despite Emery’s answer to RB situation.

Yep, Nketiah the better player but with Mateta hopefully play as a pair. Good fixture in GW4 so if you're on WC you could go with a Wissa/Muniz for this week and see what minutes Nketiah has this week or is likely to have, then make the move.

        • 9 Years

I’d start Greaves & Faes when their easy fixture run arrives. Otherwise, I could drowngrade Jota instead of Trent

    4. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years

A few steps away from mine:

      Raya
      Trent Robinson Lewis Kosta
      (V)Palmer Jota Eze Rogers
      (C)Haaland Havertz
      .
      Lumley . Welbeck Porro Winks

With enough ITB for Welbeck to Solanke, so consider Solanke in there in a 3-4-3 long-term

      Reasoning for our differences:

. As much as I expect points and starts from Lewis and Kosta, I've got some backups on the bench. Enough to cover a double absence, then maybe sell Lewis for any other emerging 4.5 if he's dropped

. I've spread the Saka funds by getting Eze instead. That's where The money for Porro and Robinson came from. I don't believe in "cover", especially in attack, yet I believe Havertz at 8.0 is good enough by himself to even be a captaincy option from Arsenal. Will he outscore Saka? Probably not. Do I need him to? Probably not

. I've got Haaland + Solanke for your Salah + Watkins + 1.0. FWIW, I think your combo scores more in the next 4. I just don't want to lock myself into a GW7 hit when I know I might have to replace Lewis and/or Kosta (and much less likely, maybe Jota), so I'm going with my medium-term squad in mind on the WC:

      Raya
      Trent Porro Lewis//4.5
      (V)Palmer Jota Eze Rogers
      (C)Haaland Havertz Solanke
      .
      Lumley Robinson Winks Greaves

If Lewis is dropped, I'm open to combining him and Robinson to get Munoz back in. I like the new Palace defence, but won't bother going there until GW8. Could be a good time to consider Man U defenders too

Welbeck is their main goal threat, and is more clinical than Pedro. I'm targeting that Ipswich game before I get Solanke, and I think Welbeck is the more likely one to score because he's further up the pitch

Interesting. Was leaning towards pedro for the pens.

He's not a bad player himself, tbf. I just don't see him starting at CF over Welbeck any time soon, so I'm going with the guy they cross/pass to more often

The increase of Lewis has urged me to pick him.
I initially had Davis, but he may drop to 4.4 before GW4. Therefore, I’d like to keep Lewis as a placeholder

Oh yeah, Lewis does serve a nice holding spot on the WC. I've got my eyes on Davis as well. Let's see how they play after those two batterings

Did you get Lewis at 4.5 or 4.6?

I don't think Sterling seems to understand that he is a washed up player who is only good enough to start in a midtable team.

I think Sterling knows that, it’s Arsenal who don’t seem to.

I think he has the ego to think that he is good enough to play for Arsenal, you know the type of ego where you don't play so you release a statement crying about it.

He was intent on staying in London for his family. Fulham, Palace, West Ham, Brentford and Spurs either didn't want him or wouldn't pay his ridiculous wages. So it was either Arsenal bench or rot in Chelsea's reserves without so much as a squad number

The basically Arsenal are the only stupid people here because they are wasting 175K per week.

          175k?

Guess that means Chelsea are paying him 125k per week to make up the difference

Not seeing many WCs with Haaland so thought I’d give it a go. Thoughts appreciated.

Possibly but who would you drop to replace him? Really want to upgrade one of the defenders too.

But he scores sometimes. And plays against Brentford.
