    Is this worth a -8

Haaland, Foden, Rogers -> Salah, Bruno, Isak

Selling good players for free to get other good players is fine.

My issue is selling good players as part of a hit with good fixtures

Some will say no but sometimes you have to jump while the potential points are best.

Salah alone is 25 points ahead of robot, as Cap that’s 50!!!

        That's my case

I had a hissy fit 2 weeks ago and got shot of robot for Salah in a -8 and I reckon I'm about 40 points better off in just 2 gw's

That’s what I’m on about, add in Isak & Bruno this week nearly another 30.

70 in any week is a decent score but some weeks that 3X the norm

Last week I was pondering Bowen to Bruno for 3 GW's with a FT, then sell for a hit. Decided not to do it. It's looking nice after one GW, what can I say.

I did something very similar last week.. -8 hit to bring in Bruno and a few others.. bagged an 82 points this week and a big green arrow up to 800k. It’s all about how the players perform.. if the incoming players get more than 8 points more personally I say do it. Bruno is on fire and so is Salah.. no brainer for me

Tough one - good upcoming fixtures but there are other cheaper FWDs with good fixtures, nailed 90 mins (Duran issue), on form and have pens

His next 3 home games are good on paper, but his form/early subs compared to other (and cheaper) options do make the old knee jerk.

Some quick early thoughts with 1FT?

    Flekken
    TAA, Gabriel, Konsa
    Salah, Palmer, Bruno, Mbuemo, ESR
    Cunha, Wissa

    Ramsdale, RAN, Wood, Faes

Depending on news on injuries and such of course.

    Flekken out?

Im not so sure about it tbh, can see a high scoring game in City vs Spurs

    1. HelmutCool
      • 3 Years

See if Son has to go on international duty. Think Sakas knock was partly due to getting an 2 week break from action.

    2. Mother Farke
      • 1 Year
      1 year, 26 days ago

Weighing up Saka's form v Forest's resilience (in general this season, I know they just had 3 put past them) and then comparing that to City's woes v Spurs' inconsistency albeit good xG, I can support the notion of keeping Son for at least one more. Much depends on the international break, of course. For example, if City get Stones/Dias back. But yeah, IF form persists after the break, I can also see Arsenal toiling v Forest and then City v Spurs being an open game.

Let it breathe some more over the break, though.

It looks good, but who's your 3rd forward?

It's probably worth investing in a playing 8th attacker for the December run of games. I can see Muniz taking more of Jimi's minutes and possibly even starting a game.

Is it worth the wildcard just to get Palmer in?

I think it may be better to wait to GW13 when Fulham's fixtures turn, we get more info on players like Saka and Joao Pedro and how strong City are after the International Break.

Only worry is to find a sofa big enough for Cole Palmer against Leicester

I have same thought just to bring Palmer in WC.

Pedro might be rotation risk if he play for Brazil and Saka is not passing the eye test.
I might wait another GW and decide when to WC.

I will transfer Johnson and Haaland out for Palmer and Isak for -4 hit if I am not WCing this week.

uh don't know how i had such a bad week! 34 pts seems to be way lower than everyone else and i've dropped from 350k to 950k. Was as high as 80k a few weeks ago so sticking with Haaland and not pulling apart my team to get Salah in has cost me i guess!? Seems to be such a spread of points and i only registered low scores with Ait Nouri, Porro, Mbuemo and Haaland this week. Was very unlucky captaining Solanke as well after he bailed me out last week!

i mean apart from Salah and Bruno my team wasn't much different from the scout picks this week. Major error i made was not playing Fabianski ahead of Raya but i forgot to go back and add him in that morning. Also brought in Larsen ahead of Wissa but i didn't want to double up on Brentford as they aren't that great away from home. Looking tough for next week as well for me with four spurs and city assets. Semenyo and Rogers could have both easily scored.

Suggestions to hault the slump welcome??
0.7mil in the bank, 1FT this week.

    Raya - Fab
Lewis Ait-Nouri Pinnock - Porro Johnson
    Saka(c) Palmer Rogers Semenyo Mbuemo
    Haaland Larsen - Solanke

      or
      Lewis > Konate

yea i know but Salah's next two aren't great following that so can't say i'm enthusistic taking a hit to get him in now! good advice though. 0.1 short of Solanke to Isak unfortuantely so -4 may be the way to go and take out Haaland.

Trent Alexander-Arnold set to be sidelined for a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury. Avoided more serious damage by coming off early against Aston Villa. Not ruled out of Southampton on Nov 24 ahead of Real Madrid [Nov 27] and Man City [Dec 1] games.

Yeah it’s not the worst option. He will be the Liverpool defender I’ll consider.

They could still score well defensively vs City at home & Newcastle away but feel there are better long term options out there.

I think he's a very good option. Cheapest nailed long term option into the best defence so far this season. Of course there's VVD but rather save the 1.0m.

Gabriel is probably the best long term option imo

Yeah, although I read at the weekend that Liverpool have had the kindest fixture run based on opposition's Form/Table position, at the time of playing.

Still, the League Table doesn't lie.

Got Raya already so a little hesitant to double up on Arsenal defence.

I feel I'm in a strong position both with rank/mini league position and team value so can afford to wait out this IB if needs be.

Absolutely no money in defence this season.

Most folks aren't scrambling for funds after downgrading Haaland/TAA. Upcoming Arsenal fixtures are there to target both defence and attack (increase appeal with Ode back).

Just watched sporting's game against braga. Very intense, high pressing. Reminds me of klopp's first season at Liverpool. It took the first season just to make the players fit enough to play the high intensity game. If that is anything to go by, we have to wait till next season to find out if United can play the Amorim way.
