Lewis > Ait-Nouri for free, and bench Konaté?

    Salah-Saka-Palmer-Mbeumo
    Wood-Cunha-Welbeck

    Flekken-Semenyo*-Lewis-Faes

Currently have isak, wood and pedro.

Tempted to get cunha in for better fixtures as isak has pool in gw14.

Don't need the money. Just thinking about the fixtures for the next 2 to 3 weeks.

        Isak - CRY (a), LIV (h), BRE (a)

        Cunha - BOU (h), EVE (a), WHU (a)

Haaland doing what he has been doing since his hat-trick (second one) in the PL this season. Overperforming his xGI in non-PL competitions (see for example international duty) and underperforming his xGI in the PL.

Tbf those who had him to start had a huge boost in the first 3 weeks.

I understand the accuracy metric on LiveFPL is not about the number of successful predictions, but I don't understand the True Alarms metric. Is this the percentage of successful predictions? It doesn't sound like it to me:

"We also report the percentage of true alarms predicted by LiveFPL. This means for example the number of rises that happened divided by total number of rises predicted. For falls, we only include players above 1% ownership in this metric. From our experience, the best a predictor can have for the true alarm metric is ~60-70% (especially for falls)."

Anyone with a brain able to help me understand it?

They are saying they work out the proportion of rises.

Fallers are harder to predict so for any player owned by more than 1% the accuracy range is 60-70% over the longer term.

Hence better predictions for rises but it's going to have an error range.

      I think!

I don't even understand your first sentence lol. Maybe I am a total thicko.

You mean they want to know how many rises there were compared to how many they thought there'd be? Not sure I see much value in that. And I don't see why 70% would be the max, as if 5 players rise, and you predicted 4 would rise, you are already at 125%.

Thanks for this. At least they are transparent, unlike *cough* hub in there accuracy, just just FFFix.

There AI algorithms are manually inputted. The algorthms are not AI, so what is AI?

Like Amazon AI shopping viasco whth 10,000 indians looking at their good on cameras, and taking 1 hours to get a recepit.

Or Microsoft AI, and Google Gemini AI, just copying and pasting AI content. I got one nabbed of Reddit (as Google own a lot of shares). I dont mind, but it is copywright theft, but it isn't, as there is no copyright theft for AI searches.

I knew it was mine, as I have missed spelt a couple of words. As I do. Even though my scientific theory is "probably" the most accurate as it stands today, but it presents it as fact on the AI search. Very dangerous

Not sure if it's worded correctly but I think the true alarms is calculating the true positives (rise) and true negatives (falls) of each prediction

And what does that tell you? You have just C&Ped the thing that I don't understand haha

            Let's try a hypothetical example:

Number of rises this week: 10
            Number of rises predicted: 9
True positives for the week = 1.11

I don't know how the 1.11 figure related to the phrase "true positive", not why it would be limited to 50-60%. Clearly, it's over 100% in the example. Something's not right

Why get him back? Your team is so much better without him. To get him back you have to get rid of half your team plus several premiums who will continue to haul throughout the season.

Once I cut the chord with him I haven’t thought about going right back to square one by having him again, even if he starts firing once more.

I've been meaning to get rid of him for weeks but constantly had to deal with other issues. My hesitation has cost me a million rank places I reckon. At least.

Now, I don't care if he pops off. I've spent the money elsewhere and my team is finally starting to look pretty good.

i took a hit to get in Isak, as i wasnt sure of Pedro minutes. It is what it is. would be 15 points up as the other defender was Timber/Gab and not Digne.

        It was only advice.

Now Saka is playing, I could transfer Bruno to Saka this week, but I will wait until GW14 now.

A probably because he might not be a reliable starter anymore due to him being benched last week.

Gvardiol out for RAN for a -4 so that I can afford Cunha next week, or do the -4 next week?

Started using FPL.team recently, which I find to be better than nothing. I just transferred in Calafiori to go with Timber and now checking FPL.team, I notice there are hints from my director of football. Two of them, in fact:

    1. "In the next 4 weeks I think we can gain 5.9 pts if we sell Calafiori and sign Gabriel."

    2. "Looking at a longer horizon of 6 weeks I think we can gain 10.6 pts if we sell Calafiori and sign Gabriel."

Just roll, it might as well be Wellbeck hitting double figures on friday.

My front 3 is Jackson-Cunha-Watkins. 35 points last GW.
Better to just ignore Joao Pedro then?
Villa’s playing BRE & SOT at home soon & Watkins was back on the scoresheet.

I'd ignore, yeah. Watkins played well, apparently.

    Austin or Forster?

Ange Postecoglou: “We will NOT sign a new goalkeeper in January. We trust Fraser Forster”.

“Vicario will be out for months but our plans don’t change”.

Strikes me as being the kind of keeper who is great value if he was £3.9m but not so much at £4.3m.

Romano quote about not signing a keeper in Jan is incorrect

Romano quote about not signing a keeper in Jan is incorrect (facepalm emoji) Ange actually "ruled out signing a *FREE AGENT* keeper" (Source: every journo who was actually there and not just aggregating)

Lewis > Ait-Nouri for free, and bench Konaté?
    Yes or No?

    Sanchez
    Saliba-Konaté-Aina
    Salah-Saka-Palmer-Mbeumo
    Wood-Cunha-Welbeck

    Flekken-Semenyo*-Lewis-Faes

Need a new team name, as "Mauvais Sangaré" is well outdated. I'm an Arsenal fan with Calariori, Timber and Saka in my team. How is "Fullbacks Saka Crack"? Can you find a better one?

      Full team

      Pope Fabianski
      Calafiori Timber Mazraoui Digne Keane
      Salah Palmer Saka Mbeumo
      Isak Wood Pedro

(Plan to sell Wood for Jackson next week)

    Salah | Saka | Palmer | Bruno | Mbeumo
    Cunha | Jackson | J.Pedro

Very common issue this week, I know.
    But whom to bench?

As horrible as it sounds, probably Bruno.
At least in their first game Amorim played him really low quarterbacking from there. Not really getting into the high danger areas. Him or Isak imho.

Would you use 1FT to bring in Pedro for one of Isak CRY (a), Cunha BOU (h) or Solanke FUL (h) if you had no other issues?

No, all of them should be good for this week

      Maybe Solanke.
