Doku at City worth a look? Good fixtures and they played much better with him back in the side mid-week. Nobody else is really performing in the team so he may be assured of starts.

Yeah probably. Just trying to think of a replacement for ESR. Should have done it last night before the price drop but wanted more time to think and see if articles like this came out before the deadline. Was thinking Bruno but I want to wait another couple of GWs and see how he and United play before bringing him in

Yeah wouldn’t touch United attackers - we’re still not creating much, rotation is rife and Bruno’s been played further back a couple of times now.

I’m looking at Semenyo, Mitoma, Odegaard, maybe Bowen if the manager goes

For me, it would be TAA.

But it might limit your budget for other popular transfers. For example, bringing Haaland back in or jumping on the Kevin choo choo.

    4. Utopsis

TAA is absolutely not a priority for me. Here's why.

He has not been anywhere near as offensive as in previous seasons under Slot, who favours structure over fluidity. He got 2 assists last GW because Liverpool were behind when he came on, and he was given more license than usual to get forward. He will revert to the usual structure when they go back to dominating games.

Just look at his XGI stats all season - therefore I think there's more value in getting a cheaper route into the leagues best defence

Thanks for the reply, you might be right. He looked dangerous against City and Newcastle so was wondering if something has changed

Maybe Alisson is better value when he’s back

I'm still waiting for the launch of the Cup as I am hoping to receive a bye.

How long does it usually take?

It said end of GW14 and we are getting closer to GW15.

I was just wondering how it worked in previous seasons.

Main reason, I want to go for two transfers but would like to avoid a start with -4 unless it is a bye for me.

You might be right though and we won't find out before the deadline.

I'm in the market for a 5.6m midfielder in order to accommodate TAA.

Rogers & a Fulham midfielder work pretty well together (SOU, nfo, SOU, new, BHA, LEI(or IPS), eve, lei, WHM, wol, IPS)

Iwobi or Smith Rowe? Iwobi's numbers look much better, just wondering am I missing anything with Smith Rowe?

    Hi all,

    Flekken, Verbruggen
    Digne, Robinson, Porro, Greaves, Hall
    Salah, Mbeumo, Semenyo, Palmer, Fernandes
    Wood, Cunha, Delap

    £3.2m itb and 1 FT

Is it a simple case of Mbeumo or Fernandes out for Saka? I don't mind taking a hit to make improvements, maybe something in defence?

    What do we think?

    Thanks.

Gvardiol easily could've had two goals agains Forest - had a one-on-one with the keeper and an open header. Against Spurs he broke the Premier League-record for chances created for a defender... But TAA looked electric against City.

Looks a bit FOMO-y / unrealistic considering the sacrifices you'd have to make to a really strong current attacking lineup. Maybe just C?

        • 9 Years

yeah, it is FOMO-y, you're right. Not expecting a haul from Bruno in the next 2, but he could explode after if Amorim plays him up top

        1. The Mentaculus
          • 4 Years

I guess A could work; I am really keen on Trent & would probably pick that combo on a WC / blank slate, but not really sure enough to hit Bruno out

I held Trent for the entire season and only sold him after his latest injury to afford the 3 premium mids. Now it feels like going backwards a bit. But he could really explode, I agree

    Sanchez
    TAA | Gabriel | Dalot
    Salah | Saka | Palmer | Bruno

All set? One last chance for Bruno I think

I think if you keep him for this GW then you should keep him until GW17 when their fixtures improve remarkably. Even next week against City may not be too bad for attacking returns from United assets. I am currently classing him as don't buy, don't sell.

I still have my WC and I am looking to use it GW18 or 19 to account for the fixture changes (some for teams I already have in my squad get worse, some for teams I want get better) but also to see how recent changes will play out i.e. is City (Haaland) going to start playing better every match now or was this just a fluke? How will United set up?

    A) (Sub)premium attacker Watkins, Isak or Jackson and cheaper mid
    B) Cheap 8th attacker Archer and 4th premium mid with Son or KdB

I'm in a similar position and undecided still. Think I'd prefer Sels to Pope/Verbruggen but his next 4 aren't great either. Not sure Pickford gets more than 0 from LIV ars CHE mci, but I might just leave it this week through indecision more than anything else, and see if a way to Onana / Alisson presents itself in the next few weeks. Another option to consider is Virginia - Fabianski, but he could lose his place if/when Lopetegui is sacked

Why are you playing Greaves over Robinson? Roll imo.

Because I think there is more chance of a clean sheet against BOU than against ARS

No clean sheets for either in my view. Robinson more likely to get an attacking return.

Next two GWs, better chances of Arsenal or Pool CS?

      Kerkez or Robinson.

There's Young as well but it would be brave to play into those Everton fixtures.
