    5 FT & 0.1m ITB

    Sanchez
    TAA - Gabriel - Hall
    Salah - Palmer - Mbuemo - Semenyo
    Jackson - Isak - Cunha
    Fabianski - Konsa - Winks - Keane

    Jackson & Konsa > Wood/Raul & Munoz/Robinson
Considering replacing Sanchez but has a couple plum upcoming fixtures

    Thoughts?

Coleman could make history by being the first player eligible for two spots in your team if they don't sort a manager out soon.

Will be interesting to see the effect Dyche's sacking has on the Everton defence. As maligned as he is/was, he knew how to get clean sheets.

I hope they go down. And West Ham for the entitled fans pushing Moyes out after winning their only trophy (and a European one at that) since the early 80s. West Ham will survive I think. Everton will be opening their new stadium in a match against Derby.

I feel like Damsgaard or Schade, no matter how well they perform FPL wise, will never be discussed as options being in the shadow of Mbeumo.
Meanwhile, we have the fraud Sarr being talked to us by pundits and being an absolute disappointment.

    Dyche sacking

New managers always want a pre-season to train the team.

Everton also about to open their new stadium.

Everton fans are very proud and will suffer alot of abuse from LFC supporters if they go down.

Sacking should have waited until Everton were safe from relegation.

    Sad day

Exactly this. Dyche kept them up when other managers would’ve took them down twice.

      Who seriously wants this job?

DCL has been terrible & why they want to hold on is crazy always broken & zero confidence.

Didn’t they finish 10th/11th last season without point deductions?

DCL up front, Tarkowski at the back and Young at full back

Dyche did a good job with them

He did, I’m a little surprised.
However the new owners have a reputation for making changes.

I hope it doesn’t backfire. I suppose it depends on who we get in.

I’m one of them and I can tell you that I’m far from entitled.

Every fan loves their club and wants the best for them despite how poorly they’ve been run, how bad they are playing.

We’ve deserved nothing more than to be relegated the past 3 seasons and I wouldn’t have grumbled one bit.

Yeah how dare fans of one of the biggest clubs in the league demand better than seeing 9 goals scored at home?

I think we’ve slipped from being “one of the biggest clubs” In the Premiership.
I think it’s fair to ask for more than 9 goals at home though.

Hardly a big club. Who will be scoring the goals? DCL? Dyche has been managing an aging squad that has seen no investment during his tenure. He has kept them in the league despite this and a massive points deduction and the fans want to get rid mid-season in spite of all this and still expect to stay up? Even Ancelotti only got 12th place and 10th place, which is where Dyche would have finished last season if there was no points deduction.

One of the oldest clubs in the country, with loads of history and silverware.

Ancelotti’s stint is irrelevant, as is Dyche’s last full season, as this year he’s been woeful sleepwalking into relegation.

Always tears on here when a manager gets sacked - seen it with O’Neil, Moyes, and now Dyche.

I like history and tradition but one needs to look at the silverware in context. It includes 9 charity shields, which most fans would probably not count, 5 FA Cups and 9 league titles, 5 of which pre-date World War 2 and of those 5, 1 took place in World War 1 and 1 pre-dates the Second Boer War (!). Two of the FA Cups are also pre-World War 1 and 2. I am not sure if these would count towards the claim they are a big club today, especially as your above comment on Ancelotti and Dyche from last season seems to indicate that past results/managers are irrelevant and only present day results are important. In which case, what criteria from this season would you use to support your assertion they are a big club?

I also don't think he has been sleepwalking into relegation. I think if it weren't for Dyche, they would probably be in the bottom 3 already. Nobody in that team can score goals so he has tightened at the back to stop the rot. He has had no money to buy players to correct the lack of goals either.

It isn't crying - managers lose their jobs and they get a massive payoff (mostly - he will get about 6 months) and they are paid well. I don't care about this. It is the fans' reactions that annoys me. Read what the Everton fans in the comments section in the BBC article say on this. They will be playing tiki taka and winning the Premier League next season now Dyche is gone.

Yet you ignore the Everton fan comments on here. None of which have delusions of tiki taka football.
There’s years of rebuilding to get anywhere near being top half team.

You read delusional comments from fans with no sense of reality, of which you will find in most clubs.

This is a fair comment and it is not all the fans. However, an article on a widely read news outlet on this specific topic is probably going to attract a broader range of mostly Everton fans and therefore be more representative than a niche forum for an online game that covers the whole Premier League.

Look at this link to the Everton podcast Youtube channel and see what they say.
                      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWhCCSlmgd0

At least the third interviewee (the woman) has the class to thank him for keeping them up but then goes on to talk about getting a big, big name in. Who does she think they will get? Mourinho has said no, apparently. Ancelotti went and did as well as Dyche last season. Benitez also not great (although admittedly, this was a dreadful appointment because he managed Liverpool). The last one talks about Frank going there as they need an honest manager. i) Why would Frank go? ii) In what way was Dyche not honest? They talk about the football being stale and that they would be going down under Dyche. I remember Burnley fans saying the same thing. If the players could score, he could probably open up a bit.

Thank you for the reply and taking time to find that video. Yes the lady had yeh most balanced response.
I agree, Although the football has been unbearable to watch, Dyche was doing a job to keep us up with limited tools he had at his disposal.

It’s a gamble by the new owners, who have previous of coming in and shaking it up. It could backfire, like we see at Leicester and Ruud .
As regards Frank, well that’s just fantasy. Why would he want to move to a club in a worse state than Brentford?
