Raya to Henderson to free up cash or target a DGW keeper?

Arsenal's next 5 fixtures look good for some cleans but he doesn't exactly have a settled defence/team in front of him.

Have 4 FT, 1.6 itb and plan to transfer in some players for the dgw. Team looks pretty decent for this week though. Any moves to recommend?

After a wildcard being the most likely scenario. I used wc gw3 and saved 5ft after it. If you’re lucky enough to plan for the medium term on WC and have no injuries or suspensions , it’s doable. Normally a curveball thrown though I agree

I can’t see a scenario where someone saves enough transfer to get 5 and has no area of improvement for their team. Extremely doubtful imo

But that area of improvement wasn't needed in the previous 5 weeks? Also extremely doubtful imo.
Fair enough if people are saving them with a planned strategy, but saving them "because getting to 5 frees is amazing" as the main reason is poor team management.

5 FT sounds really amazing. Actually I've had 5 FT earlier on in the season already.

Just thinking of an earlier move for instance to another Liverpool player with gw23 also an excellent fixture for them before the dgw.

Justin Kluivert has a minutes per goal attempt of 31.7. Three quarters of his shots are inside the box. Certainly not just a pen merchant.

Surprised Howe's being let off the hook with the fatigue excuse. Bournemouth have been decimated by injuries while Newcastle have the large majority of their squad available. You don't see the big names from champions league teams who play every 3/4 days not being able to physically compete. Surely that then comes down to Newcastle's fitness coaches.

He's a would be very nice to have but at the same time I can't get there myself and won't be ripping the team up to accomodate him. He needs to return with attacking hauls to justify the price otherwise you may as well just go for Konate or Allison.

Need to cut 0.6 from this side to afford Trent for Ipswich + the DGW. Who should I downgrade?
The obvious option maybe seems to be Colwill to 4.0 fodder? Otherwise it’s Kerkez or 1 of my cheaper mids..

    Verbruggen - Fabianski
    TAA - Robinson - Kerkez - Colwill - L Martinez
    Salah - Palmer - Amad - Murphy - Rogers
    Haaland - Gakpo - Wood

Wanted Rogers in this gw but worried he plays RW, I don’t like him there. Maybe Mcginn back can fix it and he moves back to LW.
Otherwise I’m thinking if Kluivert is a better choice.

Lots going on here. Trents miles better than Konate. Gakpo is better than Havertz considering he gets 2 bites at the cherry. Does Mo score more than Slot in the double? I'm not sure myself, very torn on AM vs TC.

Some like playing it into a dgw, but BB and TC work there.

If you're a newbie I may not have explained that well. Free hit you only have the assets for the double and then the team reverts back. Ideal for not keeping Everton too long but Liverpool have some good fixtures either side of the double so theres benefit in keeping them.

Both 🙂 I was Sky FF about 10yrs ago and pretty good at it. My Mrs family started a mini league and invited me so I thought why not, can't be much different. It's a lot different!

The chips take some getting your head round. This assman one most seasoned FPL players don't even fully understand

    Would you do-

    A) Raya to Alisson (no Arsenal D)
    B) Robinson to Konate

Dont massively like either, but I can do both for free. To move another defender to Konate, I would have to make another transfer (also FT).

Easy A. Don't understand why anyone would sell Robinson.

I've done A already. Can't get to Trent, think Alli has more upside and certainty than Konate. Not fussed about losing Raya while they've got issues at the back. Make sure you have a playable backup if Liverpool do blank for League Cup final.

Who would you pick between Gakpo, Mateta and Wissa?
Would you add anyone else to the list?

I imagine everyone is scrambling to get Mateta now.

          Jackson probably hauls on Monday.

Probably Mateta over Wissa just for now as Palace seem to have a bit of mojo back and think he has better upside if he hits form

3 Ft, £1m ITB - some good fixtures this week. If I’m already having to bench one of Gvardiol and Aina and one of Roger’s and Semenyo, is using 2 FT to slightly uograde Valdi and Faes (eg to Fabianski and Cash or Huijsen) and using bench boost

    A. A good idea
    B. No

    Leno to Henderson?

Can’t see Leno keeping a clean sheet in the next 3

Could do well. If you dont then whatever you do get Gabriel off the bench. Wolves have conceded the most set piece goals this season

Who do I bench for next week out of Robinson, Gabriel, Hall and Aina and why?

Not Gabriel thats for sure. Wolves love conceding from a set play

Yeah currently on Gabriel, Aina and Hall with Robinson on the bench but Robinson at home to a very mercurial United could also be good. I’ve given myself a benching headache every week here.

Obviously games to play and Europe but does this -4 look reasonable - have exact money

Jackson, Foden, Timber, Sarr > Wissa, Son, TAA, Rogers

So many people including the so called expert content creators still falling into the trap of leaving points on the table in pursuit of free transfers. If there are key transfers that need to be made and you have free transfers, use them!

I nearly fell into the same trap last week thinking about rolling to 3 free transfers but it would have left my team with weaknesses so I used my 2 free transfers to take out Gvardiol for Hall and Enzo for Amad.

Yeah it would have been nice to be now sitting on 3 free transfers but I would also have been 24pts worse off. I would take points over free transfers any day of the week.

I only seem to get a green arrow when I roll atm. Recent transfers Mateta aside been awful

of course there will be times when a bit of patience is needed with certain players and not doing a transfer will be the right play but many seem to be avoiding blatantly obvious transfers just so they can store up an extra free transfers and lose out on points.

There is one particular content creator who has Flekken in goal. A crap keeper with crap fixtures but has rolled a transfer for the 3rd week running. The game is about points not accumulating transfers.
