Do you think we will get the manager by manager injury news trustworthiness article soon? We were promised it a long time ago on the team news videos with Jonty.

No. But there's another Bob posting here, so I'd assume they are related or at least know each other.

This gw the obvious captain option should be the best Arsenal attacker at home to West Ham....prove me wrong

A backup option for a team that struggles to create chances in a fixture they lost last season. Sounds peachy.

Potters WH defence arent that bad, and Arsenal attack right now isn't that good. I'd look elsewhere.

Take the punt if you're feeling it. Nwaneri certainly has a haul in him & seems like West Ham didn't defend his flank particularly well against Brentford

Folks working towards BGW29 without using the FH chip, which players should be prioritised for BGW29?

    Quality over quantity in BGWs

    My picks:
    Pickford/Everton defender
    Gabriel/Arsenal defence
    Bournemouth attacker
    Wood
    Cunha
    Haaland/City attacker

    1. The Mentaculus

Have a feeling it's the City picks that are going to be lesser owned than most of the above & potentially make the biggest difference. Whether it'll be those that make TV sacrifices for Haaland (C), or whether Marmoush bests him... we'll see

      1. Tonyawesome69
        • 6 Years

I would like more data on Marmoush and City setup with Foden/KDB, don't think we've seen Marmoush start with KDB yet. I'll likely have a city attacker for 29-30 with WC30/31 in mind.

I’ll have each of these except for the City attacker. Isak will be benched with Cunha and Wood up front. Going City attack would likely mean Marmoush or Haaland unless I grab a mid but who?

I'm going to have 10 players for 29:

      Pickford
      Gabriel Tarkowski VDB
Palmer Kluivert Dango (another mid I haven't decided yet)
      Cunha Wood

bench will be: Salah TAA Isak Hall

I don't have Cunha or Kluivert yet and those are the two I'm prioritising bringing in.
This is so that I can carry these players through to GW32 and save the WC for 34 or 35.

    4. mookie
      • 12 Years
      9 months, 19 days ago

I'm looking at it as 26 to 30/31 and prefer differentials as I think WCs will be very similar. I think the only ground to be made on WC is on those who don't have it. Same for FH.
Then there's the last 2 GWs to go different.
Going template now would mean I'm happy with my rank, which I'm not. Also, the template has always been beatable and more than likely always will be.

      For me:
Nwaneri today, Marmoush/Wissa and Nkunku/Semenyo prior to GW29. Haaland and Dorgu/RAN in GW29.

      1. Tonyawesome69
        • 6 Years

I just can't get behind the Nkunku pick at the moment. Maresca needs to change his setup and I don't have high hopes before 27.

Nwaneri seems like an easy replacement for Rogers in my team to leave the Haaland option open for 29.

RAN/Williams/Huijsen are my top 3 defender replacement for TAA/Munoz in my team.

        1. mookie
          • 12 Years
          9 months, 18 days ago

Yeah, Nkunku was poor, but so was the entire team.
When Caicedo was taken off and Enzo moved to CM, they moved the ball up the pitch much better and faster. Hopefully that opened Maresca's eyes.
With Caicedo is just sideway passing with Palmer dropping back to pick up the ball.
I can't put into words how much I dislike all their wingers. They must be playing for YouTube FC, cause they ain't doing shite for Chelsea. All about tricks that lead to less than nothing.

I like Williams as well, as I might keep on WC. Dorgu would be a one week punt.

      1. Lot of them above players
      2. They have good gw28 and 30 fixtures
      3. Catching players on a FH few will own (City, Wolves, at a stretch united)

i'm seeing so much dislike for it but think it makes sense for me with 3 x pool, 2 x palace, 2 x villa so leaning towards it. It also means can have a optimum 29 team which few will have.

then through saving transfers accordingly up to 34 means that should have 4 /5 free's and the ability to navigate that week surely!?

Anyone who hasn't used the AM chip, when do you think the best time to play it is now? I am planning to target Table Bonus as much as I can when I play it..

I like the next 3 or 4 GWs for Table Bonus but probably need the transfers for 29 without hits..

    A) GW26-28 (cry v FUL, WOL v ful, TOT v bou)
    B) GW27-29 (WOL v ful, TOT v bou, tot v FUL)
    C) GW31-33 (Maybe AST v nfo, then Newcastle's 2 DGWs)
    D) GW36-38 (Maybe WOL v bha, wol v CRY, WOL v bre + possibility of a DGW fixture)

I see 30+31+DGW32 as the best time to play it on either Howe or Glasner, I'm thinking of playing the FH in GW33.
It's either that or play it on Glasner or the Wolves manager now as a punt.

Its a hard chip to plan for imo, especially for the end of season games. I can see a world where the bottom 3 are gone by 36 and then all of a sudden the entire bottom half of the league is on the beach leaving you with very limited options for table bonus where that lower placed team actually has anything riding on it

        This is my fear, too.

It’s great chip to play at the point of the season where teams near the bottom are fighting to get results to stay up and are playing teams already on the beach.

But, as you said, the current bottom 3 are so inept and already pretty much cut adrift that they’ll all be officially gone by GW36.

        It’s a tough one.

I think so. I have kind of a lingering scepticism about Maresca's ability to stop this slump & find a functional tactic to work around their injuries, given the way the second half of Leicester's last season panned out. Cunha & (probably) Marmoush look great options too though

      1. Karan_G14
        • 9 Years

It’s actually TAA who I’m more worried about selling although don’t have too much value tied in him will have to pay 0.2m more to get him back.

Cunha is another one he can easily match Haaland too with Wood & Isak already in it’s hard to figure the 3rd spot.

      Hold.

Pool would have to lose and Arsenal would have to win for that to gain just 4-6 points and that also gets wiped out if it means you have to take hit down the line.

    3. Baps Hunter

I haven't done the math yet. However, sticking is probably best idea if chasing, if protecting then not. If Liverpool draws, it's 3 pts and should Ars win, it's only 6. 6-3 = 3. So the upside isn't huge. Arsenal had problems with scoring vs Lei and I don't expect them to win 4-0.

      1. MarcusAurelius
        • 9 Years

I’m in the same boat and if did transfer out slot for a hit it would be for a manager with table bonus. If you pick a winning team it’s guaranteed 18 points

If they are your predictions its probably not worth the hit. Would come out 10-5 to Arteta but 10-9 after the hit. You want a bigger margin of error than 1 point surely to make it worth bothering

    Vini or Dembele for Kaptain
Currently on Vini for homeboy and closer score coming in
But Dembele is the most in form player in the world

    Best option from these?

    A) Slot + Rogers (Roll FT)

    B) Slot + Dango

    C) Arteta + Rogers

    D) Arteta + Dango -4.

Tough one that but I guess that’s why you are asking haha. Do you have any other Bournemouth mids?

Anyone with Emery taking a hit to play table bonus bingo?

I may do for Glasner, but holding off for now, really I should probably just leave it on Emery seeing how bad Chelsea are, rooting for a Villa win tonight!

There's a lot of pear shaped potential in the assman hits. Didn't even consider amobgst the worst case scenarios of single figure scores that some people might get -4 for it on a gameweek

True, I know I’m not taking a hit to do it though, just not worth it and would rather let it ride on Emery if for example I do Rogers > Dango. Tired of the AssMan chip already tbh.

Glasners lost 2 of his last 3 matches, Fulham have one 2 of their last 3, not sure its worth the risk

It’s true, I may just leave it on Good Ebening

Depends on how the bonus bingo goes tonight. If I get 2/2 with Moyes and Emery then I'll gamble for the 3rd. Else I'll stick

Selling Wood for Gakpo last week has been a shocker

A: Rogers to Semenyo and play one of N. Williams / Colwill / Bednarek
B: Bednarek to Huijsen and play Rogers or Gakpo (if fit)

Thinking of wildcarding in GW 28, then using 3 transfers on Newcastle in GW31, before FH in GW 33/4 (whichever is the blank). I will Triple Captain in GW 33/4 (whichever is the double) or GW 36.

My Wildcard team for GW 28 would be no different than GW 30-1, other than the 3 Newcastle.

Personally, not a fan of a wildcard team that has a long list of planned transfers. I would rather try to get a perfect GW30 WC team

True, but why wait when I can get a couple weeks ahead of my rivals?

        Haaland/Marmoush
        Cunha/Marmoush
        Mateta
        Double Bournemouth midfield (own none)
