Ruggedly handsome medieval knight seeks defender $5m or less to join battle against horde of lollygaggers and other miscreants. Must have potential for hauls. Dirty sheets a no go!

      Tarkowski next two fixtures
      Milenković long term
Muñoz if you can manage to otherwise field 11 BGW29

I'm thinking one of the Everton defensive soldiers should be up for the battle next couple weeks.

For hauls I'd be looking at Muñoz. If you need someone to play in 29, I'm not seeing a lot of haul potential but I'd probably just take a Forest defender. Or if you have to cover 28-9 I guess Wolves

Will the absence of Hall blunt Gordon's attacking output (when Gordon is back)?

Or is Gordon likely to be more involved now?

I don't think Gordon will be affected positively or negatively.

    Bruno Palmer Mitoma(?) Kluivert

    Wissa Wood Haaland

    A) go with this tema and WC 30. No FTs left

    B) WC 29 and bank 3 FTs

I'd still consider FH. Mateta is likely back GW30 and therefore is the Hall injury enough to change plans? You'd WC in 34 in this case and deadend to 33

      He doesn't cover Haaland no.
But you are actually comparing to Wood Wissa Solanke and the like and he's not a bad option.

    3. The Mentaculus
      • 4 Years

I think he's a really good option for 7m, and doubt FPL expected him to start every league game so far when pricing up at that. Looks to be favoured over Foden/KDB, but you know the usual caveat about expecting him to 'cover' Haaland and I'm not quite sure I'd feel comfortable captaining him just yet

    isak gakpo wood

    3 fts 0.3 itb no fh29 wc 31

    a) save

There is no obvious option to replace gakpo or isak that jumps to mind. wissa is decent this gw but 29 and 30 arent great. what are your thoughts? could really use some help 🙂 thank you v much.

Connor Bradley being injured certainly helps his chances of starting. I see Tsimikas as a more obvious starter over Robertson.

I predict he does start and comes off 60-70 mins for Quansah and a slight shift in formation, possibly.

    Considering this -4 next week.
    TAA,Palmer,Jimenez >> Kerkez,Elanga,Haaland.

Would give me this for 29:-
    Pickford
    Kerkez,Aina,Robinson,Castagne
    Mbuemo,Bowen,Elanga,Kliuvert
    Haaland,Wood

    Fabianski,Salah,Isak,Munoz

      1. The 12th Man

        I can actually save the - 4 by by doing Palmer,Isak > Elanga/Savhino .
Means playing Jimenez instead of Kerkez and losing all the value in Isak. Think it might be worth the -4.

    2. SalahFingers
      • 7 Years

Seems decent. Haaland is expensive, but is also a good differential, so can be a good way to gain points on others (assuming he does well of course)

      1. The 12th Man
        • 12 Years

Yeh, with WC around the corner, structure can be put back in place.
Apart from double Fulham defence it doesn’t actually look too bad.

        1. SalahFingers
          • 7 Years
          9 months, 4 days ago

I'm using free hit in BGW29, and then likely wildcarding for DGW32 if my team needs it. If I do wildcard, I'll be highly considering haaland especially since my value is pretty decent (107.4). It might be the one difference that others in my minileague can't afford (with the other premiums also).

  19. SalahFingers

    Play 1

    A) Munoz (IPS)

Cheers. I don't want to bench any of them, but Marmoush makes a lot of sense being against one of the better defences.

Gabriel doesn't feel right to bench to me. They got 3 clean sheets in their last 3 games, and they got a clean sheet last time against Man Utd. They have the least goals conceded. It just doesn't feel right ever benching him (but then it doesn't feel right to bench any of the others either and I'm probably just going to convince myself out of whatever decision I do make).

          Thanks for the feeback

Well that's a good time to plan for BGW29 and DGW32 then. (or you could use wildcard somewhere in there if you still have it)

        Thanks.
I should be able to field 11 players in 29, the big question is if I try to fit Haaland in (probably doable with a - 4).
I have the WC, but I'd rather save it until the doubles and blanks become clear.

  21. Jullepuu

Which one seems better for bgw29? Planning to wildcard 30/31
    A) Marmoush/Wood, Savinho, Gvardiol 4-4-2
    B) Haaland, Savinho, Semenyo 3-5-2
B means losing a lot of value on Salah

    1. SalahFingers
      • 7 Years

I would definitely not sell salah, even if it's just for a week or two. I'd just bench him and use the funds elsewhere. You will only want salah back and you'll lose a bunch of value there.

    2. The 12th Man

    To do what?

    A) Cunha -> Wood/Marmoush (-4)

    B) Bench Cunha and play Dango

Anyone else concerned that TAA will be rested this weekend? Bradley is more than good enough to see off Southampton.

Yeah, Liverpool were run ragged last night. High chance Quansah will cover RB.

Fair point! Although TAA seems to be wrapped in cotton wool for non-essential fixtures. Besides, I still say that Bradley could see off Southampton on one leg 😉

Hi folks, not much happening on the press conference front today:

1.30pm - McKenna (IPS), Nuno (NFO), Juric (SOU)
    3pm - Silva (FUL)

Times in GMT and come from Sky Sports.

Cheers Neale. After all that's gone on this week would be good if Nuno doesn't mention Wood at all 🙂 Cunha has got his bags packed.

Yeah that would really finish off this week, wouldn't it!
