Premier League Team: https://fantasy.premierleague.com/a/entry/40736/history

I compare my fantasy football ability to finding my bedroom in the dark: I roughly know where I am going and how I want to get there, but it\\\'s going to take a long time and a lot of stubbed toes in the process.

Team Liverpool: Positions needed: Centre half, creative midfield, left back, maybe another natural ‘wide player’. Possible signings - Kabak, Vertonghen, Harvey Barnes, Thiago. Outgoings - Shaq hasn’t featured this year and may want to leave for game time/a pay day. Origi may go although as mentioned, he does a job when on the pitch and is something different, and seemingly happy to sit on the bench. Harry Wilson did well in a poor side but I’m not sure how he fits the system. As above, difficult to get someone into the starting 11, although I’d like to see a wide player come in that can give Mane and Salah a break/push them on, or rotate with without losing quality (see City with Mahrez, Sterling, Sane, Silva etc). A creative midfielder would be nice - despite the dominance, it’s been pretty clear that missing a Coutinho type of player in games where teams low block could be a game changer (I still think I’d have him back). Thiago fits the mould of box to box and… » Read

Great write up! Unfortunately I see Ayling as the 5 million defender that newly promoted teams get as their flagship option, and I’m always a bit wary on newly promoted teams. I know Leeds and Wolves are likely outliers, so we will have to see how pre season is! » Read

Took out KDB for Salah, dropped Fernandes to Martial to afford it, as well as Twist to that was Robbo to Virgil (so at least sour with a drop of smooth on the top) » Read

Mahrez criminally under mentioned, is it due to the lack of game time/guaranteed starts? » Read

We are assuming so, depending on Woys motivational skills. I’d look at this as a Harry Kane show, his motivation to end the season strongly is probably the driving point here. » Read

So just to confirm, the disaster was a 5k drop as you got 9 points off the bench instead of 13?... Sounds like a big win to only drop 5k to me, it’s a 4 point swing due to a player not playing. » Read

Captained Bruno for his second blank since the season resumed and previously captained him during his first blank! Saiss no show allowed Trent to make a surprise appearance, although this was balanced out with AWB second half blocking Aurier. » Read

Since we always talk about goal fests on the last day, which defences are we targeting? Burnley for Pope? A few considering city albeit at the detriment to attack Liverpool with potential hangover from tonight? Spurs, who have been pretty flakey despite some favourable results? Arsenal playing a villa side that doesn’t want to lose? » Read

Continued... Jesus I just can’t say - he played 90 mins, Sterling can play up front and he is their only centre forward who will play against Real in the champions league. So there are for and against points for him, which is enough uncertainty to avoid. » Read

Sterling surely has to be the number 1 target, goal target and form, as well as a short rest. Nostalgia, rest and price dictates that we pick D Silva next. Pep’s comments about everyone playing indicate Mahrez may start, whereas Benardo and Foden may drop out after 90 mins. KDB chasing assist record but played 90 mins, however we all know what happened last time he was benched against Norwich... but the relinquishing of pens and price comes to fore. Jesus is the one I can’t call » Read
