only logic is that he was the sole attacker starting both games, vs Norwich and Shakhtar but not sure Pep following that logic tbh tactically he could perhaps think that they will control the ball poss heavily and needs/relies on smartness and trickery plays, or width, playing jesus and aguero along one of Silva´s or Mahrez in a 3 front attack, with KDB just behind them. Impossible to tell really and if i owned Sterling i would capped anyway » Read

Liverpool have 4 goals conceded in 5, 1 pr game and 1cs. Needless goal conceded vs Arsenal late in game, Newcastle scored on their only shot on target, Adrian made an error which won´t happen again. Without rudiger, mount, emerson and kanté will affect them in both ends. Yes Chelsea do scores plenty but look at opponents, United is not what they once were, Wolves is down to EL darkness. Liverpool game was a final, and the game were affected by this, not really relevant for a league game where Pool will go to Bridge to get 3 points and will not allow Chelsea to have an open game. I might be wrong but for me this looks like 2-0 victory for Pool » Read

strange compulsion to sell one of the best Fpl assets before homegame. That said, Watford do have physicality in their locker and could fight City into frustration. Tough away game vs Shakhtar and travelled far could be factors that indicate a win but not by large margin. as long as Kun keeps it up i´m not too worried as non owner. » Read

People who owns Greenwood can perhaps hope for more than just a cameo But prob Lingard, Mata, Pereira and Rashford to start so guess not West ham assets now perhaps looks more exciting. » Read

Lamps favours him but as it was a hamstring strain and just recent back in training i think he won´t start and not risked and have another week to get fully fit. Not sure his hamstring wil cope with tracking Salah...-) » Read

We do know that City no matter line up will get cs sheets. More than most teams. Ota will play most games if not all. Price is good. Offers threat on set pieces. Fixtures is nice. With Dinho they get a dm that reads the game very well. Decent on the ball. No pace and it weakens City even more on set pieces against which they are vulnerable. Watford, Everton, Wolves is next three. Al three teams capable to harm them on counter attacks and have more physicality, i ask myself how on earth will City defend vs Watford and Wolves on set pieces against. Everton not that more physical team but also in context, set piece takers in all three teams are excellent. Holebas, Dign/Sigurdsson/Moutinho. I really want fullbacks, not sure right now but Emerson pictured in training so hopefully back for Brighton and nice run ahead. Arsenal once they get Belle and Tierney could be good, Chilwell is one to keep an eye on but seems a little brittle regarding fitness.. Soyuncu is the caveat as you wil p… » Read

Not sure Ederson at 6m is needed and tbh,a downgrade to Guilbert gives you a set of rotation that is not ideal, Rico is on borrowed time at best, and Lund has an awful fixturelist ahead. I guess you are sold on KDB and not afraid to lose Robbo, my suggestion is taking -4, where you get Pope and then you can get at least a decent one defender which can be at 5.4 i believe? If you just then want Ota get him or else there is several options in that category. Or if you want, you can just do a slightly cheaper one this week and then make Rico into an 4.4-4.5 def you can rotate with. Kelly (first choice left back will soon overtake Rico´s place and Francis returns soon and then Ake can be shuffled over to left back. Rico is fourth choice at best. » Read

Hm, tricky one as West ham is also a tricky game. Wilson with the best game out of those you prob want and even Southampton is not an easy one. If it had been one with a very good fixture (Barnes says hi) i would perhaps but i think waiting here is smart as gw 7 has some juicy fixtures and you´re allowing yourself a freedom to reshuffle accordingly. » Read

Not arguing against Kun, but Chelsea defence is not much better than Watfords and unlike Watford will also try to score while Watford will sit deep. » Read

points over value and by the way, you have not gained anything unless you sell. That´s a misconsception around here that baffles me. I remember Pogba case last year, people refused to sell because of value, in the end he fell in value and stopped producing. And the point was to have him later in season but when everyone got to the next DGW nobody wanted him » Read

nearly half of teams have sterling so no damage if he´s benched for one game the real damage is if one of your differentials or not highly owned player is benched. i think you nailed the difference from last season (also it weakens City a lot but that is not mentioned a lot imo, Sané out is a huge loss for Pep). Albeit not a regular starter he has qualities that offers something different and this have implications tactically. » Read
