To be honest I am more of a GAA (dublin football /not soccer) supporter. I also like watching the hurling too.I find the fantasy football (soccer) stuff a bit of craic.

I have both Ron and Rom-Com. It only paid off once so far. I think Lukaku is likely to score v Norwich. Plus the way Liverpool are defending and big game player Ronaldo against them. He is the most likely out of Man United to get something. However a tough European game for Man United might mean Ronaldo gets taken off early? » Read

I just did that 'what if' Machine. If I made no changes to my team from gw1 I would have been 2 points better off than now. A team with Vardy VC - Salah C - and even had ESR Team value would have been awful though. » Read

I would say yes on balance. Antonio has a tough run of fixtures. Plus the reason most are afraid to move him on is because of value tied up. A bit soon to be getting Son. But with price rises you are forced to move. He has a great run of Green fixtures coming shortly. As for Toney. Brentford seem to be promoted Sheff Utd 2.0. Playing for fun and on a pure momentum bounce. -- I have actually planned to get Toney gw10 and Son gw13. » Read

Really annoyed (still) at myself that I got rid of him. Plus he is great to watch in games 100% energy. It is a really curious psychological thing why people are not picking Vardy at all. Fascinating stuff. » Read

That proves my point perception! Leicester just missed out on CL two seasons in a row. Can you honestly tell me that there is much difference in standard of squad between Leicester and Man United? Leicester are basically a cheaper version of an overpriced Man United IMO » Read

Fair play to people who held on to Vardy my biggest regret this season was selling him on WC gw4 to get Ronaldo/Lukaku double up If Ronaldo and Lukaku were doing what Vardy is so consistently - people would be saying you pay for what you get. But Vardy does it for 2m and 1m cheaper!! Amazing what a bit of perception does - still only 16% owned at time of writing on - on pens, always starts, focal point of his team, no internationals to worry about. But apparently the excuses not to have Vardy are a lot stronger than the draw to get Ronaldo/Lukaku. I assume those who only have one of the two are now jumping off Ronaldo for Lukaku in annoyance. I was thinking if Man United should of splashed the cash on Vardy at least he would not have been as isolated - as he loves to chase and harry lost causes. » Read

I wouldn't say it is 'refreshing' more like 'common sense' IB filler. But you are correct about FPL not being pure luck when the same fpl gamers keep doing well consistently. » Read

I landed on Dacoure a few gameweeks back for the very reasons you outlined. Sort of like a Lampard/Gerard 2.0 plus is involved in assists. The safest and most consistent source of points out of the three IMO. Everton do have a difficult run coming up around gw11-15. I am thinking about shipping him out by then, » Read

I have to laugh at this. Not an Arsenal or Man U fan (or any PL league team). But what you are saying has echoes of what used to be said about Arsene Wenger a much more successful manager granted - but the football landscape is different now . I will quote what Bercow then in response to Wenger out - 'Be careful what you wish for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SdUJmRj9AU Also Man United has three other managers since Ferguson. Moyes (it was too soon for him) - no league win Van Gaal (a top class manager) - no league win Mourinho (top class manager) - no league win Plus Mourinho intimated during his time at Man United that a big rebuilding job was needed at Man United. That is OGS remit a long term strategy developing youth etc and setting it up for the future. Plus the Glazers know most Man United fans will give OGS time to do so. » Read

Greenwood should be ok until you hear Rashford is fit. He has been performing well. It is the more senior players who have been letting the side down. » Read

You don't make it easy do you?? I am always inclined to go for value. So D) screams value for me. I would get James instead of Dias and use cash elsewhere or save it. Could come in handy. Also Chelsea v Norwich with James starting looks too good of chance to turn down. » Read

Jayus, I have seen less dramatic wording when there has been a natural disaster or some one has died. 'Collectively we will recover' 😀 I did see that official FPL had sent a note (think it was at the weekend) saying to people to change passwords and not use 3rd party sites. They do not advise it. It must be related to this fiasco. » Read

I have not had TAA all season. But plan to get him in gw13 or after. He is more appealing now given Robertson has the Tsmikas threat. But TAA is unlikely to be threatened by Milner much at all. » Read
