  1. Gameweek 31 Scout Picks built on Liverpool triple-up 1 day, 12 hours ago

Personally, I’d go B because I don’t like using a transfer the week after a WC. Free transfers are precious, so I would rather save my transfer and move for Son now while it doesn’t cost me anything extra, and then roll next week’s transfer for down the line to help solve any unforeseen issues that may pop up. Certainly understand the appeal of A, though. Good luck, mate! » Read

  2. Phillips can offer excellent value as Liverpool prepare for fixture-swing 1 day, 14 hours ago

My two best thoughts are either dropping Shaw for TAA, and using the remaining money to make Phillips and the 5th spot maybe a Wolves/Leicester and a West Ham defender, or if you aren’t planning on carrying all of those midfielders for the mid-long term, maybe you sacrifice one of them for TAA? Good luck, mate! » Read

  3. What should FPL managers do with Leeds, Arsenal and Man City assets in GW31? 1 day, 14 hours ago

Lloris, for me. I know he has a double in 32, but then he and Forster both blank in 33. Would rather have Mendy or Leno, personally, and either would help you make up that difference you need. » Read

Agree with this. Don’t see many clean sheets in the medium term for Utd. » Read

Good fixtures, good recent returns (3 clean sheets, 9 bonus points, 1 assist in last 4 starts), creating more chances, and passing the eye test/looking more dangerous in attack. LFC defence has also tightened up since moving Fabinho back to midfield and sitting him in front of Phillips and Kabak, so people are seeing potential for returns at both ends, plus bonus. » Read

  6. Who is the best FPL captain for Gameweek 31? 2 days, 7 hours ago

For what it’s worth, Trent’s form is 10.5 (has returns of 9, 2, 9, and 12 in his last 4 starts), and LFC are coming into really favorable run of fixtures. I think finding the right balance in your team is more important than trying to squeeze one player in at all costs, but TAA has played well of late. Good luck, mate! » Read

In a vacuum, I’d take Phillips as he’s cheaper and on a team more likely to keep clean sheets. » Read

What does the rest of your team look like? What are your plans for other LIV assets? Would picking up Phillips block a TAA, Salah, Jota triple up for you, or is that not a move you’d planned on making? » Read

Don’t mind an Arsenal punt, myself. Play all of the bottom 5 plus Palace in their run in. Laca’s in decent form and could be a nice differential for you, mate, as long as you have a path to pivot away from him if Europa League rotation/drop in form becomes an issue. Personally, I’d rather have Salah (or LEI attacker) than KDB because he has a higher ceiling for returns as a greater goal threat with more favorable fixtures, and less rotation risk. Don’t know if that move is a possibility for you or not. Also, KDB, Kane, and Son all blank in gw33. How are you approaching that? Transfer some out? BB? Bench options to plug in? Good luck, mate! » Read

  10. Jonny, Boly and Moutinho missing as West Ham visit Wolves without Rice 5 days, 7 hours ago

Vardy or Lacazette, maybe? Or maybe a Vydra type for the bench and load up in midfield to play 4-5-1/3-5-2, depending on what your squad looks like? » Read

I like the triple up! TAA and Jota on good form, Salah leading the golden boot race, and very favorable fixtures for the run in. I’d be tempted to keep Raph over Gundo just because of rotation risks and a blank in gw33. Raph could still get returns against LIV or Man U if he’s needed in your XI, and then the Leeds fixtures look favorable from gw34 on. » Read

Chelsea are short of options with Silva suspended. I’d imagine it was a “heat of the moment” incident, and they’ll have both calmed down by the next match. If not, would you want put Rudiger on the one place he’s guaranteed to see Kepa on matchday: the bench? » Read
