  1. Learning from ‘The Great and The Good’ FPL managers – Gameweek 8 20 hours, 26 mins ago

Awesome tool. To be fair- this year I expect many to be in the red so far as Salah perma-captain has shown to be brilliant in hindsight » Read

Possibly and for 2 million less I’d much rather have Son » Read

I haven’t seen anyone else say this so: imo Son will outscore both Lukaku and Ronaldo this season The sooner you realize this the better. Salah captain most weeks and save the money with Son as second premium. We’re all blinded by the shiny new premium forwards. I would have left out Lukaku on my WC if it weren’t for the Son Covid rumours although it seems he tested negative today. I do back Lukaku to score over these fixtures, however but he’ll be gone soon » Read

  8. How checklists can help you make better FPL decisions: Part 2 9 days, 4 hours ago

English please? Lol I reckon Son will outscore the likes of Ronaldo/Lukaku. With having a premium forward (who is more expensive than Son), you’re also taking the armband off Salah, which hasn’t worked to well thus far. » Read

Are we soon going to realize that premium forwards aren’t worth the money? Salah perma-captain with Son as the two premiums allows you to really strengthen elsewhere » Read

  11. My latest FPL Gameweek 8 Wildcard team: Foden, Son and Hwang in, Antonio out 11 days, 2 hours ago

Fair. With that being the case- Son is still putting up great returns. 1 goal for him and it’s 2 bonus minimum » Read

  12. My latest FPL Gameweek 8 Wildcard team: Foden, Son and Hwang in, Antonio out 11 days, 2 hours ago

Unpopular opinion: Son will outscore both Lukaku and Ronaldo this season. If he doesn’t- he’ll be very close and at least 1.5 million cheaper. With fixtures + captaincy taken into account, it may be hard to forgo the premium strikers. But I think there is merit having Salah pretty much perma-captain and Son as your two premiums » Read

  13. What can we expect from Hwang Hee-chan in FPL after his Gameweek 7 haul? 15 days, 19 hours ago

It's too soon to judge Hwang imo. But I understand it's only been 7 GW's for Mbuemo. I'd go the latter so far » Read

  14. What can we expect from Hwang Hee-chan in FPL after his Gameweek 7 haul? 15 days, 19 hours ago

Can't go wrong with a Chelsea, Man City, TAA trifecta, unless of course you pick the "wrong" Chelsea defender. I'd consider Mendy if it weren't for Ramsdale at 4.6 » Read

  15. What can we expect from Hwang Hee-chan in FPL after his Gameweek 7 haul? 15 days, 19 hours ago

You may be right as I've heard similar. Might be the case of he loses his place but then gets back in. Will only make him hungrier for goals. He'd still be an easy bench as well at 4.3, cheaper than any 4.5 striker spot. » Read

  16. What can we expect from Hwang Hee-chan in FPL after his Gameweek 7 haul? 15 days, 20 hours ago

Depends on your temperament I like the defenders at this price point, but you need to be able to stay the course after benchings (James) or lack of CS's. Some prefer the nailed on attacker. All decent options » Read

  17. What can we expect from Hwang Hee-chan in FPL after his Gameweek 7 haul? 15 days, 20 hours ago

I've always been a fan of big-at-the-back, often to my detriment and I'm a bit surprised to see it back in vogue this season, despite the solidarity of Chelsea's and Man City's backline. When was the last time we had more than 1 solid option who began the season at 4.0? Livramento and Duffy are perhaps the best value in the game, and I'd much rather have either one coming off the bench than a rarely-featuring 4.5 striker or a 4.5 two-point machine midfielder. I would even argue that you could start Duffy/Livra most weeks, and be able to afford a 3 premium (Salah, Lukaku, Son) team. Is anyone else in a similar dilemma on WC? » Read

Thoughts on Son if on a WC? Despite Spurs being inconsistent/off form I think Son will be a lock for 200+ points this season. Newcastle (away) next and after a few tricky fixtures, a favourable run. It takes sacrifices including him in your FPL team, obviously. If it wasn’t for Chelsea’s fixtures, I’d likely forgo Lukaku and have Son instead as my second premium, with captaincy fixed mostly on Salah. Thoughts on including him in your team? » Read
