Ah that's very kind, thank you very much! I have to disagree, of course, for diplomatic reasons. (little smug Brent look to camera) » Read

Nah, not yet. Wouldn't be a massive shock if he did, though, as he's a doubt for the first game. » Read

Hi folks. Just thought I'd wade in here regarding those Arnie quotes, not that I'm trying to persuade/dissuade anyone to get/not get him (I'm considering him myself). Having seen the press conference video, there's a strong chance Pellegrini is saying this: "(If) he's ready, I think that he will return to his position." Awful sound levels not helping with the transcription and Pellegrini's a bit of a mumbler as it is. It's like he goes to mouth "if" and nothing much comes out. Anyway, it sounds fairly positive regardless and, as many have said on here already, that Cardiff performance surely stands him in good stead for GW31. West Ham generally post a video of the presser later on in the day so hopefully it'll be clearer on that. » Read

Yeah, a no-go for FH32-ers (like me). Have to cater for the FH31 lot too, though, and he's got excellent fixtures either side plus a possible DGW32. You'd then be sweating on the FA Cup quarter-final results, of course... » Read

Yeah, he was heavily involved in terms of touches. Didn't do a great amount with it, unfortunately. Hopefully he and Leicester will look more of a potent threat against Fulham next weekend but I was actually impressed by them today. » Read

Speaking as both a Newcastle fan and FFS writer, I'd say they are playing well enough at the moment to be considered the first-choice midfield pairing. Rafa rewarded Diame/Ki with an extended run pre-injury/international duty and I think he's reluctant to tinker with a formula when it's working. There's a possibility rotation may happen in GW28/29 given the quick turnaround in fixtures, of course. Diame wasn't even in the squad on Saturday and he's the obvious challenger to Hayden's role (Ki more of a ball-playing Longstaff type). » Read
