So Podence if Jota leaves? » Read

  2. Football Index: Can form and fixtures make new-look Everton a good bet? 1 day, 20 hours ago

I don't actually believe any players are guaranteed to get a lot of points but as far as any of them are.... Jimenez from GW3 to GW9 is guaranteed to get a lot of points. » Read

  3. Can Watkins transform Aston Villa attack and offer FPL points potential? 2 days, 19 hours ago

Aye, the only thing that has changed since is the 45min sub but that in itself could be significant. Also it's entirely possible for nothing to change but for us to realise we made a poor choice. As is I own the third best attacking player (at best) from a pretty turgid side whose manager I fundamentally do not trust when it comes to getting the most out of his attacking players. And the reality is a large reason for making the choice to include Alli was as a placeholder for better players anyway. Not exactly an overwhelming case for keeping. » Read

  4. Can Watkins transform Aston Villa attack and offer FPL points potential? 2 days, 19 hours ago

At the moment my thinking on Alli is "wait and see whether he looks likely to play" but another part of me just wants to transfer him to James for -4 and be done with it. He was always a punt given his form hasn't exactly been electric and neither the early substitution nor the links to being a makeweight for Bale bode well. Most importantly, I *hate* owning attackers in Mourinho teams. So at some point I want rid of him. Meanwhile, James is a *much* better footballer, nailed on, plays under a much less negative manager and has a nice run of fixtures, starting with a poor West Brom. Might be worth the -4 just to actually enjoy watching my players play. » Read

  5. Why I'm being patient with my FPL transfers after a disappointing Gameweek 1 4 days, 10 hours ago

It's just a combination of him being taken off early for "tactical" reasons and Spurs looking awful. » Read

Not surprised. Was always liable to happen if they underperformed given a) they play Liverpool next and b) everyone wants United players this GW. » Read

AWB too. Not that it's much of a decision. TAA is comfortably the best footballer of that bunch. » Read

I've never taken more than a -8. So facing a -12 to do what I want would prompt a wildcard. That's changes I really want to make though. The small tweaks you make on a wildcard don't count. » Read

Would mean no Werner for wba in GW3? Which is obviously carries risk given his ownership and isn't a decision I'd make before seeing him play. » Read

Depends on your Chelsea mid situation, I think. If you don't have one or want another then I'd hold for one week and transfer Alli out for one then. If you're already as stocked as you want to be on Chelsea then I'd be tempted to get rid this week. » Read

I wouldn't say any transfer involving Salah out is a "no brainer". As general advice, I'd want a United player for the next four GWs. If removing Salah was the only way to do that then as it stands I would. However, we still have to see Chelsea play tonight. If their defense looks a shambles then that balance might change. I'd definitely want rid of Salah at some point as I wouldn't captain him until GW7. Just have to weigh up when to do it. » Read

Tbf he was also against a pretty awful Fulham side. That was probably a more immediate reason for captaining him. » Read
