I’m keeping Sigurdsson who will drop before the next deadline - he’s on pens, free kicks & corners, has been unlucky to not score points in the first two games and has good fixtures coming up. I’ve also had Martial and De Bruyne from the start so they’ll increase and value » Read

I thought one of the unwritten rules of FPL was to not take hits on defenders? Also apprehensive to take out Sigurdsson when Everton play Villa, Bournemouth and Sheffield Utd in 3 of the next 4 » Read

What do people think of Sigurdsson? I’d like to keep him as he’s got good fixtures and was unlucky not to get attacking returns in the first two fixtures but concerned he might drop in price this week » Read

  14. Is Liverpool's defence still a reliable source of clean sheets? 7 days, 11 hours ago

Haha you guessed it... I want to bring in Rashford before his price rises and don’t want King from GW3 anyway. The trade would be Sigurdsson & King for McGinn and Rashford, leaving £0.5m to swap Zouma for AWB the following week. If I waited until next week to do the double trade I wouldn’t be able to afford it as Rashford would be £0.1m more expensive » Read

If there’s a player you really want to get in for the next few weeks and anticipate his price rising before the weekend, is it worth doing before the price rise even if it costs you two transfers and therefore a -4? It will be a lot more difficult to do next week due to the price rise » Read

  16. Heavy Chelsea defeat offers hope to owners of Leicester assets 8 days, 11 hours ago

I don’t know how you can say Sterling will obviously outscore Kane when Kane’s on pens and Sterling isn’t, plus Sterling is more likely to be rested mid season. Kane scored 29 goals in each of the two seasons previous to last (he was injured a lot last year). » Read

  17. Heavy Chelsea defeat offers hope to owners of Leicester assets 8 days, 12 hours ago

Kane is the cheapest he’s been for years and with a full pre season I think he’s a must. Out of the obvious 3 premium option (Salah, Sterling, Kane) I’m going for Salah and Kane as I think they’re guaranteed to start more matches. I’d be uneasy about captaining Sterling in case he’s rested » Read

Sigurdsson and King for Rashford and McGinn for -4pts? Conscious the two I own could decrease in value by the weekend and the other two increase which is a £0.4m swing » Read
