PlayON – £5,000 Guaranteed Pot For Gameweek 4

As you may know, we’re supporting PlayON as our weekly Fantasy Football pursuit this season. With the international break upon us, these guys have decided to spice things up in their part of the world, putting no less than £5,000 guaranteed in a Gameweek 4 prize pot for a £5 entry.

At present, the prize pot stands at a cool £1,000 guaranteed but, once the game hits 500 entrants, they will raise it to £5,000. To make that happen, PlayON have put a deadline in place of Sunday evening at 10pm to get those 500 players on board.

Here are Fantasy Football Scout, we’re very happy to get the word out and help get that pot in place so that hopefully a member of our community can grab their share of the potential prize.

If you’ve yet to try out PlayON, this is a superb opportunity to get involved.

As there are no fixtures this weekend, you’ve got time to register and get tinkering with a starting XI. With the new transfer window players added, there’s also every chance you can snaffle several bargains and assemble a rather decent squad – Mesut Ozil at 9.6m or Erik Lamela for 6.2m, anyone?

Rest assured, you only need to register a provisional team and enter the game by 10pm on Sunday. You can continue to tinker with your team right up to the first kick-off on Saturday September 14, when United entertain Palace at 12.45pm.

You’ll find a full strategy guide to the game right here, offering tips that we’ve gathered over our experiences with the game. We’ll also be following up with specific player picks for Gameweek 4 next week so keep ‘em peeled for that.

In the meantime, get involved and spread the word on this to help populate the game and ensure that PlayON deliver on their £5,000 prize promise. Remember – there needs to be 500 players in the “£1000 Guaranteed” game by Sunday 10pm for the £5,000 prize pot to be triggered.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Just me that thinks 3 Arsenal attackers is overkill, what happens when they don't score? Everyone will knee-jerk and take hits to get them out. I think one out of Ozil/Giroud/Walcott is enough and two at the maximum because of the fixtures

Tripling up was a perfectly viable tactic with Drogba, Lampard and Malouda. Also with Aguero, Tevez and Silva. Who's to say it couldn't be again with Arsenal?

I'm not saying they've already proven themselves, we will still have to see how Oezil fits in, but everyone's acting as if tripling up on attack is unheard of.

That's after they were running riot. We have no idea how Ozil will fit yet, we can only assume. Don't get me wrong though, I doubled up with Giroud and Walcott hoping they benefit from this signing. We'll see.

Stekelenberg (great fixtures and will be fit after break), Boruc
    Zabaleta, Walker, Coleman, Collins, Chester
Walcott, Coutinho, Erkisen, P. Hernandez, Brady
    Soldado, Benteke, Giroud.
The only thing i'm worried about is Eriksens game time but i can't see a more appealing mid for under 8.6 and should i stick with Coutinho?

The great thing about early wildcards is that they let you bring form players in en masse with the odd punt thrown in. However you don't want to spend the following week making additional transfers for players that aren't nailed on or just performing badly. Eriksen is a great player but could fall into either camp.

There's nothing wrong with having a more modestly priced midfielder and having a few million in the bank.

cause the linesman called it, it looks like the ref did not have a clear view as the 2 Macedonians were infront of him and Ramsay behind them, but linesman had a clear view.

Quality side. Will wipe the floor with Scotland.

Courtois looks like a great prospect. Chelsea goalie right?

Agree, would put Germany above them, maybe Brazil as well.

But if this team managed to gel properly they could be world beaters.

Bearing in mind they're missing Mirallas, Kompany, Vermaelen, Hazard and Dembele from the starting lineup - that's a pretty good team.
