Visuals returned to the ScoutCast this week, as Granville and I cuddled up in a Google Hangout, with Jonty crashing in to form a ménage à trois.

          I have Baird my self and he need to be offloaded. It's between Naughton and Yoshida for me 🙂 I know people think Yoshida will play only this GW but I believe he got another GW in him, the midweek one 🙂

      I'm gonna play with 10 this week if PVA is benched because I'm valuing my 2 FT for next week more than what would probably amount to a 2 point net gain. I have 0.2 in the bank so I can do a straight swap of Defoe to Austin, or Sterling to Eriksen and maybe another transfer. Sound good?

      Or I could do PVA to another 4.2 or below. Thoughts?

        I'm in the same position and I'm keeping PVA in order to have 2FTs. Even if he doesn't start, he'll probably come off the bench for a 1 pointer; I would have definitely played him if I'd known he'd play the full 90 but even then he may well have conceded 2 goals for a 1 pointer anyway so IMO it's not worth getting rid.

        He might even be recalled...

                As a Gooner, I won't be that optimistic after a crushing defeat. Plus EVE are no pushovers despite having a poor season, and the spirit in Goodison may still be high come Sunday.

                MCI otoh face an overplayed, out-of-sorts looking LIV side. imo they'll be gunning to reduce the deficit from CHE this weekend, and Aguero always has PKs in his locker.

                Your call, man. I probably won't do it. But if Alexis pulls it, you'll be a legend 😉

    Can a city fan explain yaya's role to me? Is it likely he will be played more advanced at any point throughout the rest of the season or does his role in a game change as the match goes on depending in the score line as I know he has good statistics during the last 10 minutes of games! I could do with him kicking on now!

      His role is basically central midfield behind the attacking players and in front of the defensive midfielders. It can change slightly depending who Pellers picks and how the team is playing

        I have noticed that he plays the first 60 mins in a more defensive mindset but in the last 20 - 30 odd he seems to move more up the pitch and becomes a massive threat. Goals this season

        vs Villa ( 82min )
        vs Swansea ( 62min )
        vs Southampton ( 51min )
        vs Everton ( 24 min - PEN )
        vs Palace ( 81min )
        vs WBA ( 13min - PEN )
        vs Sunderland ( 57min )

        Other than the PEN's his goals all came in the second half.

        Whether that info helps or not, I am not sure... but it is clear that the first 45 he sits deeper and after the break starts pushing forward increasingly as the game comes to a close.

      He plays deep and dictates play. Almost every attack will go through him.
      Due to City's dominance with possession he will also attack but often stays on the edge of the opposing teams area so doesn't really have mant touches in the box.
      Later in games, Pellegrini pushes him in a more advanced role depending on circumstances and subs
