The ScoutCast – Episode 228 – Countdown

The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

    Do we expect Burnley to still keep clean sheets at home without Keane? Mainly against WBA (GW2) and Palace (GW4)

    Just got the chance to catch the scoutcast. Nice work team - and thanks for answering one of my questions (well, kind of answered my question). A couple more questions for you to answer.
    1. What is the book series behind Mark? Is it a good read?
    2. What is Luke's favourite paw patrol character? I think he might be a Marshall fan.
    3. Will andy ever change the shane long pic in his background?
    4. Does jonty really think gabbi is the answer?

      With ddg you may not need Jones..no attacking threat and limited bonus point potential..better off with a more attacking wingback instead...or bench fodder for jones...and play taa instead
