Careering out of the international break at speed, the ScoutCast returns in anticipation of a turning point in our seasons.

We’ve been chattering for several weeks on the much anticipated “fixture swing”, and now we’re all set to put ourselves at its mercy.

What does it mean for our Fantasy line-ups?

In truth, with multiple transfers and Wildcards at our disposal, Jonty, Andy, Luke and myself started this latest episode still seeking our own answers. Over almost 90 minutes and with your community questions providing the steer, we do our best to reach some conclusions.

We weigh up Manchester United exit plans, Liverpool’s blunted attack and Jamie Vardy’s recuperation techniques, before previewing Gameweek 8 in the usual hap-hazard style.

    Keeping 1.2 ITB for possible Jesus > Agüero, Wimmer > Stones, Sterling > Coutinho, basically whichever transfer transpires as the most pressing for GW9....good idea rather than maxing out now?

      Kane & Lukaku is obviously a big drain on your finances but if they're non-negotiable, maybe downgrade Salah? Richarlison in and Quaner -> 3rd striker? Maybe play around with something like that

                    Let me summarise the consenus on here from the last few days.

                    If you have Foster, get Fabianski or Pope.

                    Aim for Swansea or Burnley as 3rd/4th defenders.

                    If you have Mkhi and lack a City mid, get Silva/Sterling.

                    If you have Salah, get Coutinho.

                    If you have Morata/Aguero, get Jesus or punt on Kun's fitness.

                    Really depends on your team though. Trust your own research and gut feeling. 🙂

                                  Yep, if I left it to tomorrow I could see myself backing out of it.

                                  While umming and arring i had Premier League Weekly on YouTube in the background and Mark was saying how he can see Arsenal needing 2 goals to win at Watford. No CS for Kolasinac and the prospect of Alonso with attacking returns would be Regret City so I pulled the trigger.

                                        I'm fond of a hit anyway ha, but I planned on getting a CHE defender in the next week or two anyway. Combined with the fact that I'm unlikey getting Hazard anytime soon, hopefully Alonso will be a good compromise. My team would be:

                                        Fab
                                        Alonso/Bellerin/Davies/Ward(Jones)
                                        Eriksen/Ramsey/Ritchie(Carroll,Atsu)
                                        Lukaku/Jesus/Vardy(C)

                                        The funny thing is I might even captain Alonso now ahead of Vardy! Hahahaha 🙂

                    So the Aguero news totally screws with the last 2 weeks of WC planning/tinkering. Thinking Vardy over Jesus now.
                    Looking at the next 5-6 weeks would you:

                    A) Silva + Sterling
                    B) Silva + Salah
                    C) Silva + Eriksen (have Kane)

                    ...I'm assuming Silva is considered the "safer" pick out of him and Sterling
