Hitting the airwaves early this week, the ScoutCast makes a return to the fray with preparations for the double fixtures still using up our headspace. Mark and I rinse through the latest permutations of Gameweek 36, almost exhausted by the tactical nuances on offer. It’s almost too much for a Tuesday afternoon.
Of course, the podcast regulars rear their head and I do my upmost to keep my chin up despite the mini-league gap: Mark tries desperately not to gloat and fails as always. You never know – maybe all those eggs he’s put in the basket of Gameweek 36 are destined to be scrambled.

I had a worrying thought last night. I've been thinking all along that I can match my rival for GW36, even without a wildcard, as I will have 2 x sun and 2 x swa with strong fixtures (plus tevez). But then I realized that i am thinking in terms of hits. ie Caulker v wolves at home is better than cahill for a 4pt hit. But if I was on a wild card, surely cahill would be a better option? The same all the way through the team. Siggie might be a better option than most DGW players, but then he has two crap fixtures after, so I probably wouldn't get him in on a wild card.
Now i'm worried that i'll need well more than my current 18 point lead going into the DGW. Thoughts?
