Starting the season priced at just 4.5 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Raheem Sterling quickly cemented his place in many a five man midfield thanks to a consistency of game time under new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers. Handed a first-team chance in Gameweek 2, the winger rose steadily in price to 5.7 as the bandwagon showed little sign of slowing down but a run of 16 consecutive starts was brought to an end in Gameweek 18, with Rodgers citing signs of fatigue in the youngster’s play:

    price rise experts do you think fletcher will rise twice he is due tonight? If its juts the one i will delay the transfer if he is likely to rise again i will do it now. Would do it now but i have to do another transfer to afford fletch

    those in capitals i believe are must haves for the next weeks but having baines (although should cover a lack of fellaini) leaves my front 8 a bit week. notably no aguero and fellaini.
    Decent team or should i follow the flock, going cheap at the back and having mega front 8?

      I'm not sure, I think Baines must be sucking up funds. At the moment my front 8 will look something like:

      Mata Stevie G (or Bale) Walcott Michu Puncheon

      Fletch Suarez RVP

      My defence is cheaper than yours although my goalies are more expensive....

      So I would say Baines out (I prefer cheap defences though so I'm biased.)

        thats the thing, i, like mark, am a huge fan of baines but it is just whether fletcher and sturridge can justify their places over aguero and suarez

          Hmmmm. Well Aguero has not actually done anything to fully warrant all the love he's getting on here. Great player but has been injury prone this season and there are cheaper players who score as much as him. Sunderland are getting stronger, Fletcher should see more of the ball and as such should be scoring well. Sturridge v Suarez is a tough one too but I reckon Luis is the better choice for now.

        faith in baines and lack of fellaini/aguero makes up the SLIGHT difference. if it was too different there would be a reason for that 🙂 e.g. arshavin would be very different but that would be silly 😉

        Possibly in case Lukaka gets recalled, however I think he has the right to plan his future, has given a lot to the club, now gets limited game time. Wants to live in London. Also knows that WBA will probably sell him in the summer, so the choice of where he ends up is taken out of his hands.

The money he is being offered isn't large, plus Fernandes has announced wage cuts for a host of players, and a new wage structure is being put in place. All the players for the top teams are on massive wages, do you wish half the PL get relegated
