Rotation rarely works. These cheap keepers haul randomly. You can't predict it.

I'm sure this has discussed already, but i found this rather amusing:

"West Ham’s increasingly desperate search for new signings has led the club to advertise for seven squad positions on the website TransferRoom.
The east London club are the only Premier League side not to have made a senior signing in this summer’s transfer window, having sold captain Declan Rice to Arsenal for £105million last month"

Tim Steidten (technical directer) doing a great jobs so far..

What's with Moyes' fixation on homegrown players?

      1. Andy_Social
        • 14 Years
        3 years, 2 months ago

I think it's more to do with PL experience - done it, got the T-shirt.
The thing is, Moyes barely clung o n to his job and with managers lasting on average about 18 months, his shelf-life is short.
A technical director is looking beyond the lifespan of a manager and is recruiting for now and the future, looking for younger players with sell-on value. Moyes can't and shouldn't win this. Question is, does he go before or after Lopetegu (sp?)?

  8. Zimo

I hope Kane doesn't go. I don't want to change my team again. I'd have to get rid of one of Estupinan or Onana or Chilwell to do Mbuemo to Richarlison 🙁

After not being on Salah all summer the Jesus injury flipped things.

Let’s be honest here, unless you are a forest fan you will none of their players and same goes for half of the clubs at least at the start of the season

Used to be the case we dug around for potential gem 4m defenders or 4.5m mids but no need to this season with the pricing. Makes many games and teams redundant which is a shame and will impact the game overall in my opinions

Well if you don’t want Trent there aren’t many ways to spend 2.5m on that team without making a benching headache. I did it so I had Chilwell from the start and was able to easily bench him. Third striker spot might go, but even then I’m not sure what I’d do with the spare 1m

Surely Martinelli or Odegaard is an upgrade on Mbuemo. Brentford without Toney makes them worse at attacking not better

Actually that’s a very good point.

That’s fair. I’ve got Mbeumo there based on nothing more than vibes, but Martinelli would be an upgrade for sure.

Best forward 5,0m or below? Anyone assure starter?

Any 4,0m goalkeeper that seems to play?

No 5m forward ever plays, that’s how the game is priced. Only 4.0 keeper I know of who might start is Areola.

5.0 Forwards playing - not since Andy Carroll (many moons ago) or Jamie Vardy (slightly fewer moons ago).
And Harry Kane in his third season when he started playing regularly - was 9.5 the next season

        A playing 5.0 - rare as hen's teeth

Best just to go 4.5 or spend the extra 0.5 for Pedro or Nketiah if he starts on Sunday.

Vinicius or Mateta are the only 5.0's worth consideration. As above i'd probably try to find an extra 0.5 and go up to Pedro or Morris.

Only 4.0 keepers are potentially Areola or Turner (if he moves).

Why is Awonyi behind Wood in the predicted lineup?
6 goals in the last 4 games of the season. He was the form striker and the solution to all NFO's problems. Plus his conversion rate over the season was top 10 among all players. What changed?

He's had 3 45-min shifts in pre-season. Doesn't seem injured and has been relegated to bit-part player. And no injury in final 45 min spell v Leeds according to report of that game. Just taken off at HT for a no-mark.

Sent off, then picked up a knock. He’s ahead of Wood

Cheers. Dead pick in FPL but viable in other fantasy formats.
