Ally McCoist chatting bollox. Arsenal have no-one to score the kind of goal that Isak scored against them, apparently. Not even Havertz, the heading machine, is good enough for him.

What was the point in naming Odegaard on the bench if you arent going to bring him on with Arsenal losing the game and lacking creativity? If he has had insufficient training time and isnt fit enough then I'm not sure what the point was in him being in the squad.

I think so too. Have them back in and around the first team squad on match day to help them get back into the flow. In the case of City they have so few players for the bench anyway it is not like Ginge took anybody’s place. Odegaard you could perhaps make a case for doing so but he is the captain and has been out a while.

The money could definitely be better used, but I just think given City being in terrible form right now and plagued with injuries, plus Spurs fixture, it could be worth taking a kind of risk. Or is it even a risk?

    2. Sir Michael Taker

Sometimes you get a Saka vs Southampton, sometimes its a Saka vs Leicester from these nice fixtures. Reasons not to fear are that they are Spurs and very recently put in that horror performance vs Palace so it wouldn't be the biggest surprise if they massively disappoint and also they seem to share out the goals and points so its unlikely a single asset from them will hurt that much.

  14. Captain Mal
    • 1 Year

My defence at the moment is
Gabriel Konate Porro L. Davis Harwood Bellis.
    After Ipswich, Porro is out.
I would like to replace him with someone that I can play more or less every week. I enjoyed Davis' 10 pointer but I have no interest in playing him again anytime soon. The alternative would be to use two transfers and buy rotating defenders, assuming Gabriel and Konate will be ever present.
With all that in mind, I was looking at Colwill, Hall, maybe a Brighton defender, no one really stands out. Any thoughts?

    1. Sir Michael Taker
      • 11 Years

Even though the fixtures are bad I'd trust NFO defence with those bad fixtures over Colwill, Hall or Brighton defence with good fixtures.

    Would you

A Play team below and go into WC with 4 free transfers to carry forward
B Use them in 11 on Haaland Madueke Smith- Rowe to Solanke Son Bruno F ( can only make Son Bruno moves if sell Haaland )

    Salah Mbeumo Madueke Smith Rowe

Hi all, what would you do with this team?

Currently have 0.6itb, in isolation not much I can do with it. But dropping Haaland frees up a load of cash.

Players I'm interested in - Saka, Bruno, Gvardiol, Trent.

I could probably get them all (or at least 3 if them) if I sell Haaland for someone like Wissa. What do you think?

Depends on the rest of your defense, but I'd probably play Robbo and hope for the best, re-evaluate next GW. Definitely not worth a hit

CHE and ARS will be a tough watch for me.....got Palmer and Jackson playing against Raya and Gabriel..... Expecting a 1-0 Chelsea win with Madueke scoring and Sancho assisting
