Rash > Son > Rash > Son probably still works out more net points than keeping Rashford. Defo sell.

Yes no problem for you. If you take a -24 all you have to do that gw is get more than 24 points and your a winner. Do Halland > Son and give him the armband and that pay cover the hit. Good luck my friend and yes its true, I am a former top 10k player.

It's 24 points PLUS more points than your previous players in order to cover a -24

Light names, but regulars in their respective elevens. I like putting it all in my playing eleven. Don't mind the two pointers from the bench, if and when.

I don't like the bench. You could turn Watkins or Alvarez to Solanke (or Archer, but if you'd wanted savings up front you'd have done that), and have at least some money to burnish the bench. A fifth real midfielder, even a Neto or Gordon, feels close to necessary if you can.

This seems to be a theme with lots of 'elite' managers too. They basically stack bench with lowest price 90 min men they can get.

I’d have 1 bench player that can rotate with squad.

Think Watkins is good player but costs too much.

      I’d do Watkins + Anderson > Edouard + mitoma

It's hard to say Nunez is first choice when he's got an ongoing and reoccurring injury that means he can't start.

he's also got an October and November international break for 2 + 2 games in South America too

'First choice when fit', then? That's a fair caveat I guess but wouldn't we usually set aside fitness as distinct from starting preferences?

I guess its not 100% clear yet but the signs are there in that Darwin ruled himself out and started Thurs & Sun the week before, had his pressing praised by Klopp etc.

Is Gusto going to turn into a hold?

After Fulham and Burnley he's potentially back for

    Arsenal...

then Brentford, Spurs, Man City, Newcastle, Brighton and Man Utd.

But seriously at 4.2m is he worth a transfer out?

A few appearance points when James returns and assist potential when he starts, if he's allowed forward
.. he's fine to bench in my view.

There's always something else needed week to week too.

I'm really struggling to decide. Rank dropped to below 2M this week and only 1 green arrow all season. Maybe Sterling and Kabore can save me, still this week.

The problem is that my team looks pretty good. I have Saka, Son, Maddison, Alvarez, Trippier, Cash. Would like Salah and some Villa and West Ham attack and would like to shift some deadwood (Pedro, Foden, Sterling). Is that enough to wildcard, though? The players I have could outscore the new ones. Maybe injuries will force my hand this week.

    Best combo on wildcard

    A) Trippier / 4.5 mid / Archer (4/4/2)

    B) Burn / 4.5 mid / Alvarez (3/4/3)

    C) Burn / Ward Prowse / Archer (3/5/2)

Yank here, so I'm watching these matches at -7 UTC. Honest question, why are managers generally so turned off by early kickoffs?

Superstition, but also because if your captain blanks, you have to go all weekend hoping none of the alternatives explode. If Son flops, you're going to struggle to enjoy City ripping Arsenal apart because 90% of the game will have the armband on him.

I WC'ed two weeks ago, but have an odd benching headache due to this week's fixtures. Given that Neto plays against Villa, and JWP plays against my two Newcastle defenders, is the below 5-3-2, for this week only, insane? Thanks!

    Leno (Areola)
    Tripper Schar Cash Udogie Andersen
Salah SON Diaby [if fit] (JWP) (Neto)

My rank has fallen from 300k to 2.8m in the past two weeks. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. Hence this Haaland-less WC:

    Raya Areola
    Cash Taylor Schar Trippier Udogie
    Salah Saka Maddison Son Bowen
    Archer Watkins Alvarez

1.8m itb to upgrade Salah to Holland in a few weeks.
    Thoughts?

      1. Eightball

Very risky. I wouldn't. After Arsenal he has four teams that city could absolutely batter. Look how many Villa just put passed Brighton. United and Chelsea are a mess as well.

I already triggered the WC so can't go back there but here is
        my Haaland WC:

        TURNER Areola
        Cash Taylor BURN Trippier Udogie
        Salah ANDERSON Maddison Son Bowen
        Archer Watkins HAALAND
        0.5 itb

        So the difference is:
        A. Haaland, Anderson, Burn, Turner
        B. Alvarez, Saka, Schar, Raya plus 1.8m

Very risky...but I like your improvements/differentials elsewhere, and you already have an exit strategy to return to Haaland. If you're going to do no Haaland, this is probably the way.

A few have raced up the ranks doing this & law of averages says sooner rather than latter he’ll smash a hatrick or two.

I don’t mind capping another player but owning, image not owning when the goals flow!

    3. Joey Jo-Jo Junior Shabadoo

I'll see you and raise you, my rank has fallen from 70k to 4.4m in four weeks.

I'm also going Haaland-less but retaining Alvarez whenever I press the button, might as well go rogue.

Looking at the draft, booking in Salah to Haaland in a few weeks? Doesn't really tally with the fixtures. I would just spend that cash on the defence/3rd striker and book nothing in.

Haha yeah it's the same team as the first three weeks, what happened to them?
You're booking in 2 transfers, which is what I'm not a fan of; it's a premium mid to a premium striker.

    A) Sterling + Saka (or Bruno) to Diaby + Madders (-4)
    B) Sterling to Diaby
    C) Saka/Bruno to Madders

Sick of Sterling but he has Burnley in 9 and it's quite temping to just hold him for another week haha

Sterling has Burnley in 8, Arsenal in 9. I'm still sore about triple Chelsea early this year, and love Diaby. I wouldn't recommend the -4.

Sorry I mean 8 as in keeping him for that fixture. He would be gone in 9 anyway. It's really tricky. I'm 0.1 off Mbeumo to Diaby as well. Bloody price rises and falls have screwed me. Genuinely not sure what to do.

Ah, sorry to misinterpret. I had Mbeumo from W1 and was thrilled to jettison him this week. I'm possibly going against the grain, but prices have been crazy the last two weeks, so I played moneyball, and now have a high-value team (that I also don't especially like going forward, ha). Good chance Sterling drops in the next couple days. The player with the most downside of all you mentioned is Sterling.

Burn or Coufal/Zouma, looking a week or two ahead?

    Areola,

    Son, Saka, Bowen, Diaz,
    Alvarez, Haaland, Watkins,
