Had a great start but now trying to decide if I need to WC. Quite a few I'd change and think prices could move by 0.5/0.6 against me over break. What would you do?

Current team: Raya, Fabianksi, Robertson, Gvardiol, Robinson, Quansah, HarwoodBellis, Salah, Eze, Bailey, CHO, Winks, Haaland, Isak, Muniz.

WC team (ish): Raya, Fabianksi, Lewis, Robinson, Davis, Williams, HarwoodBellis, Salah, Palmer, Eze, Semenyo, ESR, Haaland, J.Pedro, DCL

Big problems are Quansah, Bailey, Cho, Muniz and no Palmer - is it worth WC just to fix the worse players in the team??

      88. Smooth week. Not much to complain about at all.

Biggest smooth for me to start this season is captaining my highest scoring player every week. Thanks Haaland!

Only mild annoyance is I have 10/11 the same as FPL_Harry this week (and a ML rival who has the exact same team...). I had Havertz and he had Wood.

I put 2m more on the field by having a leaner more cost efficient bench, he's a better player for a better team, and I still got outscored. I know it's just 1 point but come on...

      Smooth: Haaland captain

    8. Deulofail

      Rough:

Benching both Arsenal defenders (Gabriel & Saliba) for their clean sheets against Villa last week, then playing them both for them to lose their clean sheet in very unfortunate and dodgy fashion this week.

I wanted to save my FT in GW3 (and WC in GW4), but the falling price of Murphy and rising price of Rogers nudged me into an unnecessary transfer (I hate this side of FPL; it's not about football; get rid of it!!!). It actually ended up losing me points, potentially, as Murphy got an assist for 4 points versus 2 points from Rogers (although in all honesty, I may have played Porro ahead of Murphy, who only got 1 point). Annoying considering I didn't want to make the transfer for football or FPL points reasons, but only for the 0.1 or 0.2 longer-term selling value.

      Smooth

My Haaland and Salah team keeps returning me points (86 this week). It's going to make my WC (already activated) difficult, as I planned to sack Haaland to redistribute the funds. That may be foolish now after captaining 2 of his hattricks in a row, helping me to my best-ever start in FPL, along with price rises raining on my team (also wish I didn't have to care about that! (boo hoo)).

This week, Salah matching Haaland's 17 points, plus goals (and max bonus) from Wood and Isak, plus Robinson's assist has further escalated my rank from 74k to 40k!

Might as well get as least one Arsenal defender on a WC or even Raya. I wouldnt go without Trent either. Robbo may cover him but I doubt it.
You will probably want a Palmer / Foden at some stage. It if you think the cheaper Havertz is better value than Saka or those options then go for it. It could work he has looked good tbf.

    Hendo (Fodder)
    Porro, Robinson, Faes, Hall, Johnson
    Salah, Jota, Eze, Madueke, ESR
    Haaland, Welbeck, Isak

Hall, Johnson both issues and I'd quite like Palmer and a rejig of my defensive line.

Don't understand A, next game could be Jota's turn to haul.

      Out of those C.

      What about Gordon > Diaz?

How sure are we that Salah doesn't get substituted early for Chiesa in easy games if they're winning comfortably?

Feel like it's not really an issue with Haaland, he would still get hooked after 80 minute

We don't. All I would say is Salah wasn't subbed today or the other games when they were 2 and 3 up.

They were coasting games. You could put anyone on, they didn't. Klopp rarely did either and Chiesa doesn't worry me, he's average in comparison.

Sure it will happen at some point but he's a must.

We aren't sure, but if Salah is getting subbed then he has got his points already most weeks

Not sure, he can always get more points if he plays full game.

And I never even had a 'pool. I revert back to my old team now. It was intentional but my old team got 3 pool inc Mo, Trent, Diaz, Haaland, Lewis.

Managed to get the big hitter all in one Wildcard:

    Raya (Fab)
    Konate, mazraoui, livramento, keane, faes
Salah, Palmer, semenyo, smith rowe, winks
    Haaland, Havertz, Woods

Defence is naff but to be honest i think only New, Ars, Liv look like the trio to keep clean sheets this season.

Havertz to Pedro gives you plenty of funds to not have such a cheap defence (unless you want that)

honestly i have no faith in the defences this year... even everton are leaking goals. Only the 3 teams i mentioned seem to be somewhat competent to defend

You could really end with zero defenders playing after IB, Shaw/Branthwaite should be back, Trippier might start over Livra and Quansah still around so Konate not 100% nailed

    Semenyo’s stats are actually insane.

Only Haaland, Salah & KDB are above him for xGI

Why? Their defence is not the best & attacking players can still return against better teams, debatable if Chelsea are better tbf.

          Current front 7 is:

          Saka Jota Diaz Rogers
          Haaland Isak JP

Tough to bench any of those, potentially Saka and maybe Jota (fear a benching next GW for him)

OK, so like many, I'd like to bring in Salah & Pedro.

    Which two would you sell?

    A. Saka or Jota (Salah)

    &

    B. Havertz or Isak (Pedro)

    Or

    C. Keep all four

  28. Heiro

Only way to get Salah in would be Saka to Salah and Gvardiol to a 4m.

Seems decent for free? I have a benching headache currently.

    Henderson Vold
    Gabriel Gvardiol Taa Robinson Barco
    Madueke Rogers Jota ESW Saka
    Haaland Isak Pedro

This -8 is tempting but equally potentially mental.

Gabriel, Saka & Havertz ->TAA, Salah & Pedro.

    Madness?
