Guy on my tail in ML jumped on Foden. Funny thing is he got rid of Mbeumo for him just as Brentfords fixtures bout to get good.
I contemplated it but the fixtures are horrendous for City compounded by their unpredictable form.

Should I get Mbeumo in for Amad/Bruno and punish him?
Or hold the Utd assets another week?

Looking at fixtures he got jammy with Foden but is probably smart enough to move off him .. probably to Mbeumo.

I think the Foden ship has sailed now. City’s fixtures are brutal for the next 6 GWs plus there’s the return of the Champions League too.

It’s hard to know if they really are back or just had some poor defences that have played them back into form.

I think people moving off him now are making a sensible decision. Bank the points and move on.

Keeping he's currently my best differential, it used to be the case that fixtures don't matter to City, they're still capable of being a top team if Pep has steadied the ship, also they will score goals regardless of winning

Not convinced on the AM chip for DGW24 personally.

I guess it depends on which position needs the most improvement within your team. I need to change my forward and keeper so I'll most likely move to Alisson or Gakpo

yeah think so. beaten city/arsenal/newcastle now, drew with forest/chelsea away. had 19 shots at Anfield earlier on in the season. 7 matches away from they've score 2 or more. logic would say their attacking threat shouldn't suddenly reduce

Anybody contemplating Darwin Nunez after Gapko and Diaz looked so poor. Seems every season Nunez has a mini period where he hits form and bangs for a bit and gets a good run in the team. He's a good differential especially with Ipswich at home then the double but he's a risky punt indeed

    1. Bushwhacker
      • 6 Years
      10 months, 20 days ago

Nope. Nunez is a change agent, Slot said that after the game. He'll play cup games, not Premier League games. Gakpo was fantastic, not sure what you were watching.

    Evening! And early thoughts:

    Pickford
    TAA Hall Gabriel
    Salah Palmer Gordon Sarr
    Isak Gakpo Wood
    Fabianski / Rogers Munoz Greaves

    - Bench Gabriel (wol) or Munoz (BRE)
    - Start Rogers (WHU) over Wood (bou)/Sarr (BRE)?

I had planned to do Sarr > Mbeumo next week, but tempted to do it earlier as not particularly impresses by Sarr in last fixture. Do it for this week? (Still have a benching decision to make if I do this move.)

    1. Atimis

Yeah, if I kept Sarr I would probably start Rogers. I am noting how tricky the BOU fixture may be for Wood (regardless of form) however.

Thing is I may want to sell Sarr for Mbeumo.

    Fab Sarr Lewis Greaves

So original plan was to roll the FT, however now I'm considering Gab to TAA for the triple up against IPS.

However that would block my AM with Slot.

Another option is move Raya to Pickford in prep for the double and then still play AM for the double - thoughts?

      Mbeumo Salah Diaz Rogers Enzo
      Haaland Wood Raúl

      Raya out
      Sels in

Am I mad wanting to get rid of Diaz before Ipswich at home?
Thinking of brining in Mbuemo for him.. need a sure starter and 90 min man.
