As Man United approach an eye-catching run of games which could potentially see Sir Alex Ferguson’s side rack up the Fantasy returns, Wayne Rooney has staked a strong claim for consideration after bagging a brace for the second Gameweek in succession. Rooney’s stock has suffered a significant drop this season due to the arrival of Robin Van Persie but as the campaign unfolds, he’s starting to look a real differential, with many Fantasy managers even considering both forwards for a run of games which sees the Red Devils welcome Sunderland, Newcastle and West Brom to Old Trafford, in addition to trips to Swansea and Wigan in the next five:

Open Controlslescott is fit and he is still gettign picked ovr him, so only has to fight with bad toure brother. For me at that price into city defence worht it for odd rotation. Just wish he would get involved more at corners.
Open ControlsHow is not play is worth it ? You can get Gibbs which is nailed on for that price.
Open Controls
Should play 5/6 gamesish.
Open ControlsHe is the preferred CB option alongside Kompany. But could get rotated during the busy Christmas schedule. However if Kompany is injured, then he is first choice.
Open ControlsKompany's fine.
Open Controlshow do you know kompany is fine? he went off after 20mins so he must be out for at least a week or two no??
Open Controls- Open Controls
Oh, thought he was injured for the short term. Sorry for wrong information, then. Thanks

Best defender from now until January out of Nastasic and Caulker? Currently going with Caulker due to their slightly better fixtures...
Open ControlsThat doesn't matter 😉
Open Controls
In all seriousness I hope rvp/rooney is a main topic in the scout cast this week. It's certainly an interesting puzzler 🙂
Open ControlsIf both are fit, then who would you prefer.
A. Bale
B. Walcott
I have no other Spurs or Arsenal players.Open ControlsWhich player do you reckon is top for benched points?
Sterling
Clyne
Gorkss
Begovic
Demel...Open ControlsI **keep** benching Begovic and watching him get 8+ points. It's irritating. Makes me dislike Stoke even more.
Open ControlsNoble as well perhaps? Bego has definitely screwed alot of people, almost worth having a non-starting 2nd keeper to save the trouble of leaving him out.
Open ControlsClyne maybe.
Open ControlsSterling is averaging 4.89ppg for me 😎
Open ControlsHow do you choose when to play him!!!
Open ControlsIt should be, "Please tell us when you decide to play him." 😛
Open ControlsOk deal, I'll tell you when I decide to play him so you can bench him.
If there's a contradiction, flip a coin!Open Controls
I have been rotating him with Lallana for the last 10 GWs or so. I've only benched him twice 😯
Unreal, me and a few others were discussing it in the wee hours of this morning.

Where a minion lays, quail are.
Chinese ProverbOpen ControlsAlright gents and gals, this is my current team with 2 FT and £2.6 in the kitty:
Al-Habsi (Ruddy)
Rafael, Enrique, Wilkinson (Cueller, Demel)
Cazorla, Michu, Fellaini, Sterling (Puncheon)
RVP, Tevez, Fletcher
Am thinking a DEF downgrade to up Fletch to Suarez. All thoughts will be much appreciated.Open ControlsRe RVP v Rooney, if both were the same price, who would you rather have?
I guess my question is whether the current trend for suggesting that Rooney is the better buy based on him being:
1. better value for money
2. likely to score more points overall
3. both better value and likely to score more points?Open ControlsSo, are people having both RVP and Rooney saying that they will be the top two scoring strikers over the next few weeks?
Open ControlsI think RVP, Rooney and Suarez will be the top 3 scoring strikers until the Jan WC when it can be reassessed. Aguero may be up there but he has virtually no form and will be rotated more imo.
Open Controls
I really hope Foster doesn't return this week so I'm not tempted to bench begovic 😉
Open ControlsRooney is not as good a player as RVP. I cant see how Rooney can outscore him.
If your having a quarter pounder meal you go large for 30p extra rightOpen ControlsIf Utd HAD to sell one of them, I'd rather lose RVP than Rooney.
Open ControlsAt last some reason..cant believe people talking about Persi like he is the best player in PL history, just because he had 1 great season in Arsenal where he was a centar of the team,in every action he had to touch the ball and everybody had to work for him to score
Open Controls
It's nice to be reminded why I stopped coming on. Thought things might have changed a bit but it's still the same tripe being spouted. Can't enjoy a transfer without rent-a-degree's obligatory 20million posts about the matter.
The fact is only a fool wouldn't want 2 attackers from the most free scoring team in the league with the run of fixtures they have. If those two happen to both play up front so be it. Utd or gonna score goals, lots of em. They're going to be involved in the majority, either on there own or, please god, together. What's not too like. It may not work out but at the moment it seems like a no brainer to me.
Anyway. I'm outta here.Open ControlsChill dude, plenty agree with you but we all have to make our own calls 🙂
Open ControlsI like how you make 'enjoy a transfer' sound like a nice glass of wine or cup of tea or something.
Open Controls😉 stay strong. We're in this together.
Open ControlsI know what you mean, but is it worth factoring in possible postponements due to weather? If a Utd game gets cancelled, you're f**ked!
Open Controls
Anyone been watching Full English on Channel 4 (UK)? Animated comedy and it's pretty funny 🙂
Open ControlsLooks like Gorkss will miss out again tonight, damn all you people with Gorkss playing and Clyne/Nelsen 1st sub!
Open ControlsPearce to start alongside Mariappa
Open Controls
4 points hit to do Fletcher and Gunter to Suarez and Caulker....yea or nay?????????
Open ControlsChances of Gunter playing got Clyne 2nd sub? Also chances on le fondre starting his my (C)?
Open ControlsGunter won't start, Cummings to start RB.
Open Controls
Begovic (Mannone)
Rafael Enrique demel (Davies Cuellar)
Michu Fellani cazorla sterling (sess)
Rvp berg fletch
Have 1ft and 4m.....what should I do??? Enrique and demel both potentially injured:(..my back up keeper doesn't play and I need to get rid of fletch...
Pls helpOpen ControlsStuck on swap or do both for a hit.
Ba-Suarez
Or
Giroud-DefoeOpen ControlsWhat us a 'Groan injury' by the way?

Isn't that what Fergy gets every week.Open ControlsIt is possible that RVP had a nice run earlier in the season because Rooney was out so he was the undisputed goalscorer. Maybe we're stuck to mainly single figure returns now.
Open ControlsHe had a perfectly good goal disallowed against Reading and a perfectly good assist ruled out against City. Both would have given him double figure scores.
Open ControlsPerhaps got a bit too specific there, basically, in general he may not hit quite the same heights he did last year. Plus he's more expensive. He was undisputed #1 striker at arsenal. He isn't at united, Rooney and Hernandez are both breathing down his neck.
Put it this way, if Aguero starts knocking them in for city, nailed on, Rooney and Aguero are looking like my heavy hitters.Open Controls
A goal a game is fine by me. 38 goals a season.... 🙂
Tbf he's been very unlucky recently. Goal across the line not given etc...Open ControlsRooney + RVP = Rooney more points
Rooney + Kag + RVp = RVP more points
People seem to be forgeting the second scenarioOpen ControlsFoster
Mertesacker, O’Brien, Gallas
Michu, Santi Cazorla, Sidwell, Fellaini
Van Persie(c), Rooney, Defoe(vc)
Subs: Begovic; Shorey, Sessegnon, CuellarOpen Controlsyeah and he's only 7.9 now...may be the best midfield buy of the season along with Michu...or not as the case may be..
Open Controls
When is Giroud going to pull his finger put and give us a decent alternative to Rooney, rvp and Suarez?!
Open ControlsThis is why I ditched him for Suarez and a better balanced midfield. He just won't be in the lion's share of points - especially now with Rooney firing on all cylinders - amongst the 4 Utd strikers and attacking mids (and Rafael) like he was at Arsenal.
Open Controls
My Team:
Jaaskelainen - Mignolet
Rafael - Ridgewell - Cameron - Garrido - Shorey
Cazorla - Michu - Fellaini - Ramirez - Sterling
RVP - Suarez - Berba
Thoughts?
Also can anyone remind me how to change my link? Want to change it to my team but it's on my football blog at the moment. Forgotten how.Open ControlsWell, I'm two transfers away from total STO/WBA defensive rotation, three from each team.
And I already have three City players in my front eight.
So I'm starting to gather many eggs among very few baskets. Going to regret this, aren't I? 🙂Open ControlsOld Git's music ... : 😉
