Tuesday’s Matchday Surgery

It’s breathless stuff this Christmas fixture list. The games keep coming thick and fast and it’s getting difficult to clear the head of the all the variables and avoid making a Fantasy faux pas or two.

Rest and rotation are the big concern now, plus of course those little knocks and niggles that go unreported until the teamsheets arrive. A strong bench comes in handy and some last minute advice on how to juggle resources never goes amiss. We’ve opened our Matchday Surgery chatroom so you can soak some up in real-time prior to that 11.30 deadline.

The room will close just after 12pm with Dugout Discussion on the first 3pm kick-off to follow.

    Regarding Tim Cahill and Australia:

    Australia's last group game is the 18th January, so I'd guess that if they fail to qualify he'll be back for GW24-25.

    I can't find future KO fixtures though to find out, should they qualify, when he's likely to be back.

    So little Chelsea talk after their drubbing last night.

    Crazy to think that, considering their fixtures are so good and their start to the season very little people are backing them. It's like the die hards are all choosing to leave quietly.

    I think the revival will start against Bolton.

      Hanging on to Drogba has been one of the main reasons for me dropping back to over 100pts off the top of most of my mini-leagues, where rivals have reaped the rewards of mainly Tevez and Berbs. Time to repay my faith I think Mr. Drogs.

        I must tell you about my worst opponent in my league, this is the 3rd week he have had 2 freebies and didnt use none of them.

        And he have Nani captained, with VdV and Drogba on his team, and to top it off he have had Adam all the time since he got suspended and injured(?), with 2 freebies..

        I think im going to increase my lead in the mini league this week 😀

          My cup opponent played his wildcard this week while I've taken a 4 ph to get Kolarov and Carroll.Same MID and front line except that he has Bale and I have Nasri.God help me!But he has captained Tevez,while I went for VdV.Hopefully that proves to be the difference.
