Fantasy Champions League Now Open

As many of you have already noticed, the official UEFA Champions League Fantasy game is now up and running. With Matchday 1 still 10 days away, the current break in domestic action gives us the perfect excuse to start assessing the fixtures and assembling our 15-man squads before the big kick-off:

Matchday 1 gets underway on Tuesday September 18 and the first night’s action hands City a trip to the Bernabeu to face Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid, while Arsenal are also on the travels, with Olivier Giroud returning to face his previous employers, Montpellier. Chelsea get their defence up and running the following evening with a home clash against Juventus, while United welcome Galatasaray to Old Trafford.

Once again, we shall be offering coverage across the Matchdays for those in the community who plan on participating. At the moment, we’re also considering the possibility of running with another Champions League game in conjunction but for now, here’s the official Scout League code for the UEFA Fantasy game:

We have Mackie, McCormack, Maloney and Rhodes on the bench.

Kenny Miller on his own up front doesn't work. Great work rate but very little composure or ability. We need someone alongside him to make use of the work he does otherwise it's pointless.

      It was ok before because we had a half decent defence and no options going forward. Now it's the other way around, defence is a bit of a shambles, a heap of wide and attacking options playing at a good level. Show too many teams respect. Serbia are there for the taking if we showed a bit of ambition

  Nasri is good value but with their group I think I prefer Pirlo or Schweinsteiger.
  
  Kerzhakov is a great player until it comes to finishing and I think Hulk might be the main protagonist for Zenit.

    I think you're right. If I got him in for Verm the question is where I'd spend the extra 1.5. Maybe Valencia to Robben. Verm is bloody tempting though and 100% nailed on as opposed to say 90.
