Saturday Dugout Discussion – Gameweek 5
Filed under: Dugout Discussion - Posted by: Akers
We start Gameweek 5 at the Liberty Stadium, as Michael Laudrup’s Swansea host Everton. The Dugout Discussion is open, so come in and follow all the day’s action amongst fellow fantasy football managers. The team news is in and there’s one or two surprises…
Swansea XI: Vorm, Rangel, Tate, Williams, Davies, Ki, de Guzman, Michu, Hernandez, Routledge, Graham.
Everton XI: Howard, Neville, Heitinga, Jagielka, Baines, Osman, Pienaar, Coleman, Fellaini, Mirallas, Anichebe.
Following their defeat at Aston Villa last time out, Nathan Dyer and Leon Britton drop to the bench with Ki Sung Yueng and Pablo Hernandez coming in.
Having scored on Monday night against Newcastle, Victor Anichebe earns a starting berth, replacing the injured Nikica Jelavic.
There’s another five Premier League fixtures to enjoy after Swansea and Everton do battle – so plenty of fantasy points on offer all round. The Dugout Discussion chatroom is the place to see them roll in, which can be accessed right here.

Berba

I think it might be a little too early to give up on Michu.
Swansea do have Reading and Wigan at home after Stoke. You just know if you take him out now, he’ll rip it up in those 2 games.
September 22 at 5:38 pm
I taught Ashley Young how to earn penalties says:
So Baines, Fellaini or Pienaar if you had to choose one? Whats the general consensus?
September 22 at 5:41 pm
v12w12 says:
Fellaini for me.
September 22 at 5:44 pm

I’d say have two of them in your team. Baines and one of Fellaini and Pienaar

v12w12 says:
1st draft of WC.
Any thoughts fellas?
Jaas/ Foster
Baines/ McAuley/ Gibbs (Lowton/ Reid)
Yaya/ Fellaini/ HBA/ Gervinho
RVP/ Tevez/ Berbs
Will wait until all games played this week………..cheers.
September 22 at 11:43 pm
andrewlimkh says:
solid
September 22 at 5:53 pm
Guinney says:
I really want to get in Baines. I have nothing in the bank and 1FT transfer so might try and get him over the space of two weeks. Any thoughts how. Also my bench is woeful. I actually thought Noble would be a good signing.
Howard
Cole – Hangeland – Gibbs
Pienaar – Bale – Yaya – Michu
RVP – Berbatov – Tevez
subs: Fed (inj), Noble, Barnett, McCarthy (isn’t playing these days)
I could downgrade Howard, then upgrade Cole.
Downgrade a midfielder (yaya) and upgrade a defender
September 22 at 6:21 pm
Home Run Baker says:
Tevez and Dyer —-> Berbatov and Pienaar?
September 23 at 4:35 pm
MJ6987 (Atalanta) says:
You don’t think it’s a bit premature to dump Tevez?
September 22 at 11:26 pm
ValterPereira says:
Does anyone know why Pienaar didn’t get an assist for Mirallas goal? Also, why Southampton 3rd goal was considered an own goal and Everton 3rd goal was not? I really don’t understand…
September 23 at 10:20 am
dracoira says:
Should I take a 4 point hit for Hangeland to Baines?
