You know the difficulty of the game can paradoxically have the reverse effect on attacking returns. Opponents that attack leave holes at the back for the Bales of this world to exploit, a la United. Hosting teams can often cause them to shut up shop, sit deep and deny space a la QPR.

I've got the same predicament. If Bale is going to rise .2m and Cazorla to drop .2m I can't see the harm in getting Bale to ride that rise...and hopefully he explodes against Wigan. However...I can see myself being tempted to switch back to Caz quite soon after...as I do have a bit of faith in him and he has such a massive influence on Arsenal's attack compared to other players in other teams. But then again so does Bale...I'm just not sure I trust Bale in terms of overall influence...I think Cazorla could be more stable if he finds form again.
