There were some unfamiliar names on top of the ICT Index this week, snuggled alongside the return to form of Carlos Tevez and Leighton Baines, while Juan Mata and Robin Van Persie again provided shifts to acquire another wave of Fantasy attention. The Members Area is packed with the latest data from the weekend’s games and our Big Numbers article has picked through the goodies to find the stats that caught our eye…

My crazy plan of always captaining RVP - nevermind who he is versing or if he is a doubt is working well this season
Open ControlsYes, I can clearly see that looking at your rankings.
Open ControlsThe Booty continues!
Open Controls
So your love of RVP is everlasting. Advice for me please. I have Aguero (just brought in cost me 4pts) shall I ditch him for RVP then for my FT this week. MCI away at West Ham next...
Open Controlshaha oh here we go! I know my rank is pathetic for now but that is because I had the worst start ever!! I'll be back!
Open Controls
Lost on the last page...
Well, my Aguero and Vertonghen differential dam buster didn’t quite have the success I was hoping for. Do I take it slow, and keep ‘em for one more week, or pull the -4 point trigger now and be done with it?
Here’s the options:
A) Rooney and Vertonghen
or
B) RVP and Caulker
What say you?Open ControlsThat's the sensible thing to do, but I worry about a rampant Rooney or RVP against Arsenal. Surely RVP is guaranteed to get at least one goal against his old team!?!
Open Controls
I'm with Beric. I still think at some point Aguero will become "the" must-have fantasy player. I'd be very nervous about selling him, especially for a hit.
Open Controls
No bonus points this gameweek?
Open ControlsI have some players like Osman, Van Persie, Tevez , Shawcross. I think they can have some bonus points...
Open Controls
Who is likely to get BAPs for the Stoke - Sunderland game do people think. It's usually defenders and goalkeepers in a 0-0 draw? Perhaps Cuellar could finally deliver me some love??
Open ControlsMataUnreal, we were discussing the Mata of Mata on the previous page... so on the Mata of Mata, I am quite annoyed that I missed his price rise, and would usually stubbornly refuse to do it because of that...
But, I just think it will be the correct move to make, since Mata is just Unreal...Open ControlsYou said it Zep...I tried to warn people with my username...
That's a pity you missed the rise...who are you getting him in for? Caz?Open ControlsYeah, in all probability, it will be Cazorla... since it's for free and I don't want to take any more hits...
Open ControlsIf I knew Bale would rise .2m this week and Caz to drop .2m I'd do the Caz > Bale move...you think it's likely?
Open ControlsBale could rise twice, but I can only see Caz dropping once, if anything...
I will wait for Mata rising again, if he does, I'll probably do it then, since I can afford a Caz drop and not lose any selling value...(had from the start at 9.0m)Open ControlsI can afford a Caz drop as I got him at 9.2...but can't afford a straight swap for Bale if he rises...so it's looking like tomorrow is decision time.
Open Controls
What's the prediction on baps for this lot?
1) RVP
2) Ba
3) BainesOpen ControlsAny chance of Cuellar getting any?
*cue massive straw clutch*Open ControlsWord on the street is he is on for a few Baps...think he had a few blocks/clearances to his name
Open Controls
This seem about right for BPs?
Jaask (0)
Cuellar (2), Hughes (0), Baines (1)
Bale(c) (6), Santi (0), Mata (2), Michu (0)
RVP (3), Ba (2), Berbatov (1)
Would be my best ever BP haul if so! 🙂Open ControlsIt's possible, but perhaps unlikely to fall exactly the way you want it...
You should be good for 12+Open ControlsHey Zep! Here's hoping! Whatcha reckon the best move is for this lot this week - a lot depends on the fitness of Ba and Berba I guess - if both are ok I think I should save it right? Otherwise, I might do something like Santi & Berba/Ba -> Pienaar & Tevex for a hit. My bench absolutely wreaks.
Jaask, Fed
Baines, Cuellar, Hughes, McCartney, Clyne
Bale, Mata, Santi, Michu, Guthrie
RVP, Bam Berba
Bank 0.0m, 1 freebieOpen ControlsYou have Mata, so you're good... I want him but the only way I can get him for free is to swap with Cazorla...
I'd much rather be in your position and have them both since after Utd, Cazorla has more great fixtures to prove his worth... are you sure you want to take him out?
If injuries were not an issue, would you really consider taking out Ba/Berba for Tevez in what would be a constant pain for you with will he/won't he play...?
You have 3 solid defenders and 2 other that can come in with a guaranteed 2pts if the other don't play...and a magnificent front 7... the only concern I think you have is Guthrie, who looks unlikely to play since his bust up... would you consider the boring swap to Puncheon?
Otherwise, I'm not sure I can adivce on the Santi swap, even though I have the same problem... I will probably swap for Mata, but would much rather be in your fortunate position of having them both, even if it does cripple my bench options...Open ControlsCheers - I think the 2 reasons I was looking at losing Santi was because we have United away this week and there aren't really any strikers I want for 7m or less if Berba/Ba are confirmed out, and since I have 0.0m in my bank I'd need to downgrade somewhere. I'm also short of Guthrie -> Puncheon by 0.1m.
I think you're probably right though - best to take my medicine if one of Ba/Berba is out and just play a 4-4-2 this week, then look to do Guthrie -> Sterling in the near future.
Sagna and Rafael are up there on my wish list, but I'm struggling to find ways to get them in! Perhaps a downgrade of Bale -> Pienaar in GW11 ?Open ControlsI would be reluctant to get rid of Bale after what he did at United... he seems to save his best performance in these big matches, just look at what he did last year at Citeh and Arsenal... a goal and an assist in those games...
Sterling is your best bet, but I can't see where the extra 0.8m is coming from... maybe Michu > MacAnuff? Reading's fixtures are great and he is getting assists from everywhere...Open Controls
Cazorla isn't worth for 9s mill. That's why we need to sell him out. He doesn't score and assist a lot. The only thing which make him earn points are clean sheet. Mata is better because a bit cheaper and take the free kick + Right corner. Bale more attacking than Santi. Even Nolan is better than Santi in earning points and money.
I'm happy with Santi due of points he gave to me, But i feel he's not worth for 9s mill so i decide to sell him for Mata.Open Controls
Huth 2 shots, all on target, 1 tackle, 4 clearance
Cuellar 1 shot, off target, 2 tackle, 1 interception, 15 clearance 😯 wtf 15
i think Cuellar hopefully to get bonus (even 3) 😀Open ControlsWhere are you getting this information?
Open ControlsCheers Hana
Open Controls
Any chance for 15 baps from these players?
Begovic ; Baines, Gorkss ; Bale, Mata, Hazard, Cazorla ; Berbatov, Ba (x2)Open Controls0, 0, 0, 3, 2, 0, 0, 2, 4 (2x2)
My guess is around 11 or so :\Open ControlsCazorla was superb ( apart from THAT miss!). I reckon he's got 3.
Open Controls
Why either? Sterling, McAnnuff, Nolan, not Guthrie!
Oh - i see you have Sterling. If you have the funds then perhaps Taarabt for a few weeks whilst QPR have good fixtures might not be such a bad move ... but he's only ever been a big fat tease for Fantasy Football.Open Controls
Ok So I'm bringing in RVP for Aguero using my FT.
My team is linked. I have the injured and benched Gervinho. Shall I kick him out for a hit??
A Gerv > Hoolahan
B Gerv > Routledge
C Gerv > Michu (rival has him)
D Gerv > Morrison.
E Dont take the hit!Open ControlsFantasy Twist: Novermber 3rd, 2012 Headline
Bale out on Paternity Leave; Cazorla scores Brace at Old Trafford Upset.Open Controlsso judging from the general concensus im on for 19 bonus points...sweet 🙂
Open Controlsat least 14
Open ControlsDammit you have the front 7, I want... and I see the only way to do that is remove Baines...
Hmmm...Open ControlsYeah it hurt. Not as much as doing mata to santi last minute last week though....shocker.
I really have tried to have a blanced team I just think for the next 7/8 game weeks with City, Utd, Newcastle all having good fixtures theres going to be alot of goals scored......Open Controls
Play Demel or Gorkss? Reading leak goals so I'm leaning towards Demel.
Open ControlsBego/Szczeney
Baines/Hughes/Rangel/Nelson/Demel
Bale/Mata/Michu/Nolan/Kaca
RVP/Tevez/Fletcher (0.7 m in the bank)
Have already used my FT now want to make another change, which of em warrants a hit.
1) Rangel to Cameron (Plan on getting Ba next weekend this will free up funds too)
2)Nolan to Morrison or any other MFOpen ControlsHoly sh*t...Whoscored.com is the best site ever for Football stats...so much detail on even one match.
Interesting thing I've observed...James Morrison was playing as a defensive midfielder against Newcastle as Yacob was out so he slotted in beside Mulumbu...with Dorrans Gera and Odemwingie ahead of him. He had by far the most influence, passes, time on the ball, possession of the ball than any other player. I wonder if Yacob is injured for long? Might not be good news for Morrison buyers if he's playing DM for the upcoming matches.Open ControlsI would have imagined playing deeper would impinge on his fantasy potential, not improve...
Open ControlsThat's what I meant...right? 😯
Open Controls
Ouch ... thats not good news! Morrison has been a good little differential this year so far and if this is the case then maybe it's time to shunt the little fella off for Nolan or else. This weekend against Southampton is really the acid test for Morrison, if he can't get at least an assist it's time to move on i reckon!
Thanks for the heads up Mataunreal!Open ControlsNo problem...it all depends on whether Yacob is back as he is usually the DM beside Mulumbu...in that case Morrison would be pushed up to his normal position and Dorrans/Gera would drop to the bench.
Open ControlsNice season so far Mr Eagles 🙂
Open ControlsThanks Saints ... got Mata at the right time, stayed patient with Tevez, got RVP early and got lucky on many occassions with the armband choice! You're also looking pretty swish there!
Open Controls
Err...
Morrison GW1-8 (average) vs GW9;
Penalty area touches - 3.2 vs 0
Goal attempts - 1.9 vs 1
Final 3rd touches - 23.5 vs 8
Chances created - 2 vs 0
Yeah, much better looking at those stats 😆Open Controls
hi

Open Controls
So, I know this is blasphemous around these parts, and it's probably too late for this but...Baines out would allow me to have Mata / Bale, Hazard, Michu, Santi, Tevez, RvP, Berba...JUICY?
Open Controlsi want to rid of baines but then i look at his fixtures
Open ControlsYeah, maybe they will start keeping clean sheets soon...
Open Controls
I wouldn't touch the team you have and I wouldn't ditch Baines to have that midfield.
However you should consider ditch Cazorla to get Mata or Bale.Open ControlsJuicy green grass indeed ... cue Baines penalty and CS!
Could you forgo Santi for now?Open ControlsSee above. I got Santi in for a hit and he got me 5 points over 2 games, so yeah, I could ditch him, easily 😀

Open Controlsdo you think that Osman, Van Persie, Tevez , Shawcross or Begovic can have some bonus points?
