FFS Paddy Power Cup – The Last Sixteen Draw

Next up, we roll out the draw for the last 16 in the Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power Cup VII. Site regulars such as Wild Rover and JMS remain in with a shout of silverware. Both have avoided world number one Iyad Zahlan – he is up against Jon Griffiths, who takes on the role of underdog, with a rank around the 52,000 mark.

For those still involved, it’s worth knowing that the last eight will qualify automatically for the Fantasy Football Scout Shield, where they will meet the final eight from the Members Cup, which starts in January.

The FFS Shield has its own prizes and is played out over the final Gameweeks of the season. No pressure, then…

I just don't think United will be able to keep Madrid from scoring more than them. Simple really.

    New Post. Repost.

Which would you rather have? The players in the brackets are the ones I’d play/bring in for GW19 so you have a better idea of a longer term plan.

    A)
    Silva(Bale) Puncheon Michu Sessegnon(Young)
    RVP Suarez Aguero

    B)
    Silva(Bale) Yaya Walcott(Taarabt) Michu Sterling(Berba)
    RVP Suarez

sure there is, cant see us winning the trophy this season due to our defence and lack of balance on the left
but glad of the occasion, and when we come back with a team ready to win it in 1-2 years the experience will count

Over achieved last season, under achieving this season. Key players injured - Cabaye, Arfa, S Taylor.. Colo has been banned and injured this season... Gutierrez and Cisse woefully short of form... a combination of things really.

Hopefully we'll pick things up and we can still finish mid table and get through a couple more rounds of the Europa ... maybe.

    Best option from the following:-

    A) Suarez>Aguero(c) for a 4 point hit
    B) Rafael>Zabaleta for a 4 point hit
    C) Both A & B for a 8 point hit
    D) Do none play Suarez and Rafael

Sorry for the repost. Need more opinions. Already have Yayay. Very tempted to do C)

since soccernet removed their average position maps(aaargh) can anyone tell me if yaya really does play further forward when nasri is out? this past weekend when nasri went off after 36 did garcia come in alongside barry pushing yaya further upfield?

Conclusion.. Against weaker teams(eg RDG and sun 😉 ) Yaya plays pretty far forward(average position wise) and is almost in line with silva!! the other games without nasri he's been bang on the centre line and with nasri in just behind it..

Not sure that Mancini will be quite so reckless with Reading...Don't forget that they put three past United and two past Arsenal on their way to a drubbing...I'm going for the same old same old for Yaya...60 minutes deep followed by a more forward position as and when City are on top...or not as the case may be...

    After Felli-Taarabt my team is:

    Bego (Schwarz)
    Rafael Bjones Olsson (Cameron, Shorey)
    Taarabt Mata Silva Michu Sterling
    Defoe RVP(C) (Berbatov)

2.4 in bank. 0ft. I'm scared of Rafael and Bjones not playing leaving 2 (tot) and 1 (mci) in defence :/

so? only 1 team can win the CL, I'd rather win the EL than have a good feeling about getting to the QF of the CL. Other countries take it seriously, just like they did with the Cup Winner Cup & Uefa Cup

    Hi all..

    Straw poll on 2 issues:

1: Who to bench - Sess (sou), Michu (UTD) or Berba (liv)?

    2 Sess or Bale (-4pts)?

    Cheers

I've been having a similar season to you prior to the last 3 gameweeks, you seem to be going on a good run now so its definitely possible. The guy with the highest gameweek score last week rose from 400k to 50k. Both of you are my inspiration now to get out of my rot.
