FFS Paddy Power Cup – Semi-Final Draw

We’re down to the last four now in the Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power Cup VII now. The next round will take place over Gameweek 22 and will see David Bevan’s “ange1range1” take on Sir Alex Jnr’s “Milehigh” – the former is the clear underdog going into this one; although he’s nestled inside the top 7,000, David’s opponent has moved ominously into 34th place overall after yesterday’s seven fixtures.

Site regular “WildRover” is the early favourite heading into the second semi-final. He has moved up to 439th in the overall rankings ahead of tonight’s three remaining Gameweek 21 fixtures, while his opponent, Mr KK, is just inside the 30,000 mark. With winter wildcards available, however, the form book could easily be turned on its head as our quartet plot for silverware…

I don't have too many funds held up in Michu so was thinking of bringing Bale back for the game against QPR, but would have to take a hit, by downgrading Nasty slightly. It would be this:

Michu > Bale
Nasty > 5.2 defender

and it would leave me with this:

Watching Harte for Reading last night I thought he looked pretty handy, certainly Fantasy worth given he's 3.8? Is it likely he'll lose his spot to Shorey once he's back from his mystery illness?

  No, my transfers will be focuses on DGW. WC after that and then we'll see, but I'm strongly tempted to keep Baines given his att potential. And surely EVE CSs will turn in time too.

My plan has always been to WC after the DGW - seeing all these lovely WC teams and prices going up, its tempting to go early though - do you think I can get away with waiting:

The only real ommissions from my team versus an ideal team are Mata and Fellaini but I'd have to lose DGW players to get those in.

Since Ian Harte came back into the Reading team he's played 4 games and scored 6,6,5,4 - for a £3.8m defender, that's pretty impressive. (3 clean sheets and an assist in that time).

Anyone know the likelihood of him staying in the team? Did he miss all those matches through injury or what?
