The Big Numbers – Gameweek 23

Joe Cole tops our ICT Index for the Gameweek so far, following his equalising goal and eye-catching display in the Hammers’ draw with QPR. With David Silva ranked second and West Brom’s Peter Odemwingie nestled in third, the weekend has seen a number of differentials put in strong statistical shifts.

Our members can, of course, get the full data behind the Index scores via our members area but, as always on a Sunday evening, we’ve compiled our guide to the figures that have turned our heads thus far in Gameweek 23…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Begovic (Bunn)
    Demel, Nastastic, Rafael, Clyne, Harte
    Punch, Michu, Mata, Bale, Fellaini
    Suarez, RVP, Fletcher

    have 0.4 leftover after that.

What transfer would you guys make with this team:

    Bego Bunn
    Luiz Gibbs Davies Martin Demel
    Bale Mata Walcott Michu Puncheon
    RVP Podolski Lambert

Players to replace: Podolski, Luiz, Lambert (maybe)

    1FT, 0.5 banked ... willing to take a hit.

    Inspire me!

    All factors considered (home/away form, explosiveness, recent run, defensive stability etc), who has the harder fixture;

Tottenham at Carrow Road (or) City at Loftus Road?

Arsenal can't defend and Wigan aren't reknowned for solidity either. Waste to have two relatively expensive keepers. Naughton day's are numbered with Ekotu back.. especially after his impact today.

He doesn't need much time from the bench to score is the thing, denied at the last by Vermaelen after rounding Sczezny today off the bench, and if his form continues and Torres' doesn't, he can't not play. Will be even better a prospect after Chelsea win / get knocked out the cups

        What's your team?

I'm thinking of dropping my Liverpool players for the next two for a hit.
Then bring them back with the end of window 5 free ones. What do think?

Baines, Gibbs, Angel Rangel (oh yeah)

          Stevie, Caz, Wal, Michu

          Suaz, RVP and Hazza.

Rangel is a beast in Metro. Considering DeGuzman in place of Michu too.

Have StevieG and Suarez but need Everton mid cover and RVP back

What transfer(s) would you do with this team

    Begovic - Bunn
    Cole - Gibbs - Davies - Demel - Gunter
    Mata - Walcott - Michu - Fellaini - Puncheon
    RVP - Suarez - Lambert

    1FT 2.2m

    Willing to take a hit

Keen on getting bale, not sure how to get him though? May do lambert to fletcher or fix up my defence

Not sure how much u got suarez for but him to sturridge and puncheon to Bale could work if you really want Bale.

    Price changes at 2.18pm.

Risers: Davies (good for at least 2 rises this GW if not 3), Mignolet (50/50), Pogrebnyak (slight chance)
    Fallers: Berbatov, Garrido (probable)

BTW transfer fact of the month, Fellaini has received enough transfers in since returning from suspension to rise more than 5 times. Unfortunately, they occurred while he was under 8 days of price protection granted by coming off his red flag.

Great value then, he should be at least 0.5 more than he currently is.

Think he could be up to 8.5 by now if he hadn't been banned.

Quite possibly, here's hoping he continues in the same vein. Waiting for him to deliver his first goal since suspension.

Minded to have one of Fellaini and michu - gonna be a tricky choice. If swans get through the league cup semifinal, maybe Fellaini

I still think both represent great value. Having to drop one of Bale and Theo is going to be tough, but the strikeforce and 2 good defenders should make up for it.

I have an extremely risky transfer policy of making transfer decisions just before price changes. Unfortunately this has enabled me to find the deadline with considerable accuracy.

Given that I'm using my second now Jafa, I say yes.

If it weren't there then you plan differently. Games with no WC and limited transfers are just as engaging imo.

That's my point I guess, Flynny. I plan properly but it's a waste of time and all advantage is lost with this second w/c.

Annoying for thoise doing well, not so much for those doing terribly. Guess they figure that works out to around half and half, and they figure it will keep people interested. I personally think it's unfair, and i'm not doing very well either!

Thoughts on my squad for next gw?

    Begovic

    Gibbs Cameron Harte

    Mata Walcott Bale Fellaini

    RVP Suarez Ba

    Bunn Noble Demel Davies

    A) Gibbs to Zabaletta
    B) save transfer then do Suarez and Ba to Aguero and Sturridge?
