  Bale has never delivered for me, always bad timing on my part, but not enough consistency at that price for my liking. Plus he's a diving whore and i hate him.

  I want to get him in I think he may get double figures against norwich, every week I dont have him I'm shitting myself however it is a challenge to get him in considering the other good midfield options and also wanting to maintain a strong attack

well the itch got too big and had to be scratched, wildcard played

early week draft:

mingolet – bego
cameron – azpi – nasty – clyne – bassong
gerrard – mata – michu – bale – walcott
aguero – sturridge – fletcher

bassong survives for now purely because i dont know who to swap him for for the 4.9 id get for him.

Team a little liverpool heavy with gerrard / sturridge, but they’re looking potentially explosive as a team right now and if they get through the next 2 games still looking good, im in near the ground floor on the sturridge wagon

No RVP for flair reasons 😀 This does leave me exposed to manu drubbings but you cant have everything, and kagawa’s always an option if he starts clicking in the middle

Any thoughts (apart from the potential Dutch landmine) appreciated

  Will you play 352? If so, you my aswell downgrade Fletch, but personally, i'd lose a biggie in midfield and get Van P. You'll cringe watching United every week without him.

    I already do! Its a horribly obvious risk to take, but I have a feeling that Liverpool and Citeh could prove move explosive in the next few months.
    
    Im aiming for 3-5-2 yeah. Fletcher is currently in as an upgrade on Lambert, at least until the effects of the upheaval are known.

  A heavy front 8. How do you plan to find one for the bench each week? is it really worth benching all that money when you could spend it (and not waste it) on a certain dutchman?

    The benching would be down to my tactical nous 😀 The main thinking in spreading the cash around is the flexibility it gives in changing it around should the weather or injuries force it. Its also easier to make a change for another big hitter should a players form take a January nose dive, like Bale/Nani/Valencia/Ba etc have done in seasons past

        True. If anything Sturridge is in as a punt right now, It looks like he'll have to keep up a high rate of goals and assists to counter the baps hogged by Suarez / Gerrard

    Baines is a waste of money. That alone settles it for me. A case could be said about the inconsistency of Fletcher and Bale as well. All 3 in B) are very consistent and reliable players

To go alongside Gibbs and Zab, I've decided the best 3 cheap DEFs are Davies, Demel and a Reading DEF. I wanted Clyne, but REA have nice home games when SWA and WHU have a tougher game.

Anyone else thinking of getting a REA def in?

    I want 3 cheap DEFs who rotate. Demel and Davies will be my main 2, but a REA def would cover the gaps when they have a tough away game.
    
    No idea who to put in from Reading though. Been burned with Gorkss and Shorey already!

Getting the hang of this game now. 8th straight green arrow. Yeah! 😀
Well to be fair my ranking is still shite. First season, started on GW 2 and all that.

On a more serious note, which one? JUST FOR 2 GW

1) Lambert + Bale in 3-4-3 (Puncheon as 5th mid in the long term)
2) Lambert + Fellaini in 3-4-3 (Punch as 5th mid in the long term)
3) Bale + Fellaini in 3-5-2 (Marveux will be 5th midf in the long term when I switch to 3-4-3 in GW26)

A) Suarez, Aguero, Puncheon and Maveraux; or,

    Joe Cole was a great punt btw - looks a different player back at WHU. I'm expectig (and hoping) we put in a decent performance after the tepid one at CHE yesterday. 3-0 Arsenal (Walcott x 2, Santi) is my prediction!
