With David Silva ranked second and West Brom’s Peter Odemwingie nestled in third, the weekend has seen a number of differentials put in strong statistical shifts.

      No one player is 'carrying' the team. Whoever is up front for United will always benefit from their sexual play, and Liverpool also have Gerrard carrying their team, not just Suarez. 😉

      Bale for me. Had him the first 3 weeks and then shipped him. Haven't had him since and hovering around the 5/6k rank. Too expensive and unreliable with all those 2s. Nearly as frustrating as owning Nani last year 😕

    Assuming the RVP - Aguero - Sturridge gets more points than the RVP - Suarez - Lambert trio, do we think that the extra points will justify the additional 2m spent, where it could possibly be invested in upgrading mids/defenders?

      I like watching red zone unless my team are on TV. It cuts from game to game showing all the best passes and touchdown chances.

      I'm getting rid. Still think he will score well but I'm having a punt on Aguero for a short while and if Liverpool continue to score goals I'll give Sturridge a shot instead. Should be same value at worst.

      Suarez was brilliant yesterday by the way, but maybe - just maybe - a bit less of a goal threat than previously.

      I genuinely think he'll benefit. He has been excellent all year, with no one else to take the burden, or the attention of defenders. Now there is another option, I think Suarez will find more space.

    Going to let it go to hell in a handbasket - I need 80 points to catch up to my ML leaders, and I've decided to really go for broke. Sticking with Bale-Michu-Fellaini-Mata and Walcott, scrimping up front and rotating between a cast of Ba, Dzeko and Fletcher/Sturridge/Suarez.

        yeah defense is a bit weak for my liking too but don't have the same TV as most others here and i'd have to sacrifice one of those attackers to upgrade at the back.

      is there anyway you can find the cash for aguero, as you only missing Man C coverage Maybe if you downgraded sagna or zab

      Mind you Sturridge could do just as well , so maybe it wouldnt improve anyway

        It is a thought and thanks mate.

        I am worried, at this stage anyway, of getting Aguero as I do not want to spend 10.9m on someone i would not feel comfortable captaining. This is because of his slight rotation risk.

      5 i think. Still for minutes played his points are great. It also seems he is starting to get more gametime and the natives got restless when he was subbed off on wednesday so maybe Rafa will be reluctant to rotate him so much.

          Ive stuck him in on my wildcard just as a differential, chelsea also have some decent games coming up and i think he is less likely to be rotated than either ba or torres so not a bad shout.

    Aaargh! This wildcard driving me mad!

    How the hell can I fit Walcott, Bale, Fellaini, Michu, Mata, Aguero, RVP and Sturridge in the same team? And if I sacrifice one (and I'll have to) which one? Michu? Seems bloody daft. This is impossible.

      depends on your TV. if it's high enough you could get cheapies at the back nad get all 8 but then you'd have major benching dilemmas every week.

        It's impossible. Team value is 106m. If I lose Michu there's no getting him back.

        Mata and RVP are the only dead certs. I may focus on having a cracking 3 week period and then change it up. Bale can always become Walcott, Gerrard or Silva if he continues to misfire given their similar values.

        As for 5 cheap defenders - I think the big sides are going to start becoming more durable defensively. Can see lots of CSs for City, Chelsea and United.
