As we close on a century of episodes it was time to freshen things up and bring new voices to accompany my drone and that of grumpy Granville. In this weeks’ episode, we draft in both “Professor” Chris Atkinson and his “Rate My Team” computer, plus long-time community member and contributor, Jonty, for a new ScoutCast regular.

Don’t worry, the usual format remains intact although, having recorded this just minutes after last night’s whistles, Granville escapes the usual mini-league grilling. Not surprisingly, there’s plenty of “Granny’s miffed” to endure, plus “All Aboard” and the weekend preview. That’s’ rounded off by the “Full Jonty” a brand new feature that will bring you, the community, into our weekly ramblings.

                Yeah, at the moment Mignolet is more tempting, even with those United fixtures they just KEEP on conceding. Mignolet is also the keeper in Premier League least likely to get dropped, DDG is still a risk.

              Consider the amounts of goal they have shipped and # of CS compared to some other teams, and you see that United "are due" som cleanies.
              But of course, for this assumption to be valid they have to continue in the same mould, and no one can know whether they ship more, less or equal amounts for the rest of the season.

              Oh yeah, don't get me wrong that certainly didn't help..I'm just surprised at how the focus seems to be on De Gea as he is the standard scape goat and people seem to refuse to believe Carrick could have played an awful ball. De Gea shouldn't have been put in that position where he needed to win a 50/50.

                Fair enough. It was 80% Carrick's fault. I just think that DDG could have dealt with it in a better way.

    Obviously, Gibbs has to make way, not for another Swansea/Liverpool defender as I'm trying to get Gerrard/Suarez in, and that would be it for the DGW. Selling price of 5.6. Cheers.

          I don't particulary, West Ham's form is woeful while Swansea have the best away defense. It's close though, I'd probably check the odds and go with them. Although that's come back to bite me a few times. Go with your gut! 🙂

    After reading some posts I'm genuinely surprised at how many people think Samba is a good defender. I've seen some people go as far as saying he could be the one to get them out of them relegation zone 😯

    So I've got Gibbs out, Berba doubtful, Mata doubtful, Hughes benched last time, Puncheon benched at half time last game, Demel and Martin both with threats to their spots, and Ba suffering rafatation...how worried should I be?

    Got 2FT but I kinda wanted to use them for DGW cover and Liverpool have City this week. Absolutely stumped!

      I don't think he's guaranteed to start both. They have a lot of options for central midfield. Gerrard is nailed for both games, so that means Allan, Lucas and Henderson are fighting over the other spot. If they play 4-3-3 that means Lucas will play anchor and Henderson only has Allan to contend with though.
