There are no brown envelopes in sight; this “bung” is firmly placed in my nasal passages as I clamber from my man-flu grief pit to sit alongside Granville and take my Gameweek medicine. After seeing me off by 21 points, it’s only fair I gave my co-host his moment of glory, regardless of being short of match fitness.

Somehow we end up arguing about Robin van Persie once again, before taking a gander at the bandwagons rolling and preview the weekend’s action the only way we know how: by rambling endlessly and singling out some dubious player picks along the way.

john brayford is showing -139 on fiso but only -82 on fiso. is there a problem with fiso price drops? I know its a minor problem but wud like to avoid losing value on 4m def if possible. I also need to work on Toure & foster but reckon they may last until next week with flags

Advise needed, 0m in the bank, ideally would like to lose Lukaku, but not great options out there for 7.6m.. Hazard out for Silva? + maybe Vlaar out for Collins/Fonte/Whitiker? I know Toure is a doubt so don't mind taking a hit to make sure i field 11 players...

  I'd go Shaw. Didn't he only go back to training today? Wouldn't be sure of him starting - woukd be annoying if he got 10 mins at the end for fitness. Aside from that, I'd probably bench him even if he started.

Taking out Ivanovich for Colllins for a hit

Advantages

1) Dont have to play Chester away to Man c Collins should score more points than Chester reducing the cost of the hit , and there probably a 50% chance he will outscore Chester by 4 or more points
2)) It frees up cash for next week enabling Dzeko to Rooney for free ,
3) Reduces the need to wildcard next week
4) I want Collins long term

Disadvantages

1) Costs 4 points (but probably less)
2) Still leaves Toure in team

  If you have defs to cover Toure's absence, yay. A def hit for a long term plan makes sense, as does any hit.
